"If not for a view of the Life Time pickleball courts and the weirdly conical Penn Station subway entrance, you could mistake The Dynamo Room’s open-air patio for a Miami Beach bar, with its palm fronds and cane armchairs. It’s a breezy spot for a pineapple-garnished cocktail after work, while the sprawling, glitzy dining room behind it is New Yorky enough to take someone who just got off their train and needs to eat a whole lot of oysters while choosing a steak off a trolley that’s wheeled around the room.
