Dumpling Union - Review - Lower Haight - San Francisco - The Infatuation
"This is the second location of the casual dim sum spot Dumpling Union, and, damn, everything here is f*cking delicious. The siu mai is perfectly constructed, the xiao long bao is extra rich, the barbecued pork buns are pillowy, and the beef chow mein is full of the most tender noodles we’ve had in recent memory. Dim sum this good and fun needs a fun space. There’s a pair of neon blue angel wings on the wall, slightly gaudy gold spray-painted chairs, and vines everywhere. Food Rundown Seaweed Salad Juicy, firm, crunchy—everything a simple, but perfectly executed seaweed salad should be. Beef Chow Mein At first glance, this is simply a standard chow mein, but one with almost perfectly chewy noodles that make this dish stand out.
