"You might recognize Jeff’s as Dodger Stadium’s superior hot dog vendor, but if you're a devout frankfurter fan, you owe yourself a pilgrimage to their original Pico-Robertson location. Jeff’s makes all of its sausages in-house, and no two are alike. Fans of New York-style dogs (or any food that calls for a breath mint) will love the one with warm sauerkraut, sinus-tickling deli mustard, and a smoked beef sausage with a casing that pops like a fresh grape. But we tend to go to Jeff’s for the riffs, like the lamb and beef merguez that burns just right with harissa mayo and zhoug. Just be aware that Jeff’s keeps it truly kosher—the stand is closed Friday evening and all day Saturday for Shabbat." - Sylvio Martins
