The Toughest Reservations In SF Right Now (And How To Get Them)

"Verdict: We’re always willing to stand around for a spot at this Lower Haight wine bar because waiting is half the fun. Everyone who hasn't been seated yet hangs out in the middle of the room drinking Alsatian riesling and making new friends. Once you finally secure your place at the bar or pack into a teeny yellow-tiled table, order a couple of snacks from the rotating menu. (We recently had some great, fall-apart wagyu beef cheeks and creamy potato gnocchi.) The portions are small, so plan on heading elsewhere for a full meal." - julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez
