"Sheba Piano Lounge is where the Fillmore’s jazz roots live on. The music venue and Ethiopian restaurant hosts live performances five days a week, with no cover (even on weekends). A grand piano anchors the perpetually dim dining room and is surrounded by high tops—the perfect perches to sip some wine and fantasize about running away to master the bass in an underground musician commune. Sure, this place is a great pick for a sexy post-dinner nightcap, but their food shouldn’t be ignored. The vegetarian sampler with rich mesir wat, gomen, and spongy injera is a hit, as are the sirloin sambussas with crisp bottoms.
