"Chelsea is a vaguely London-inspired restaurant in Santa Monica that provides a moody, low-lit backdrop for drinks and group dinners. Order a dangerously smooth Earl Gray-infused cocktail at the bar or one of the large crescent booths, and you’ll feel chic and content under the dining room’s tasseled chandeliers. The food, however, doesn’t offer the same satisfaction. Chelsea’s menu is an eclectic mix of Italian, Indian, and American dishes that are consistently underseasoned regardless of which continent they hail from. Order a few starters, like naan with raita or harissa lamb tartare, if you care to nibble, but there’s no need to drop money on the soggy tikka masala fried chicken." - Sylvio Martins
