"We're not entirely sure what a “modern kissaten” should look like, but this one has enough vintage furniture to resemble an estate sale and a menu of drinks that sound like candle scents. By day, this Chinatown cafe does pastries and lattes in flavors like strawberry sesame and cantaloupe matcha, then switches to beer and wine at night. There’s also a small selection of Japanese cafe food like egg sandos. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park
