Sweet Iron Waffles Downtown Review - Downtown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Leggo your Eggo - please. If you need waffles in order to function in the morning, throw those frozen ones straight in the trash and go to Sweet Iron. Their Belgian-style waffles are hot, soft, and go just as well with prosciutto and creme fraiche as they do with Nutella and cookie butter. It’s a speedy, counter-service operation, and feels like the kind of cafe you might find in a museum: clean and a little corporate, but not in a bad way. And just to let you know, a waffle ice cream sundae with salted caramel and whipped cream is a thing you can get here, if that’s the kind of thing you crave before 8am." - Aimee Rizzo
