Toriya Review - Lower East Side - New York - The Infatuation

"Toriya might just be the best place for a late night meal on the LES. Sure, you could come to this izakaya before 10pm and get a spread of skewers, fried squid legs, or perhaps an onigiri. But their fat chicken meatballs and $6 spicy salmon rice balls just taste better after midnight—say, if you’ve already had a couple of drinks somewhere else in the neighborhood. Or, if you’ve been hanging out in their huge, neon-filled space taking down a bottle of sake from their great selection. Especially if you’re in the area, this place should have a permanent spot in your late-night snack and meal rotation." - Carlo Mantuano
