"Whether you’re in the mood for a piping hot caldo de res, or a thick, pillowy baleada, it’s impossible not to feel at home here. The owners, a husband-and-wife team from Mexican and Honduran backgrounds, cook everything to order, watching the cheese melt in their crispy tortilla like they would a toddler who just learned to walk. They'll also personally ladle up a bowl of hearty beef soup that's been simmering for hours and squeeze in some lime that brightens the rich broth up.
