"We have no reason to believe that the Midway Cafe in JP is haunted, but if it is, those are probably some pretty badass ghosts. This tiny, divey bar and live music venue is old enough to actually start thinking about a 401K, and over the years it’s become JP’s home for everyone from punks and indie rockers to construction workers and teachers. There’s a cover most nights starting around 8, but it’s almost always within the $5-$10 range, and that’s a small price to pay for the fun you’ll have here. There’s no food and the drink selection is just OK, but this is one of those places where those things are beside the point - you’re here to have fun, get a little sloppy, and meet people." - Dan Secatore
