"Cold Shoulder is hidden behind a bookcase in Blue Collar, the Beverly Grove cocktail spot with no menu and skilled bartenders who could make a perfect martini while skydiving. Cold Shoulder, on the other hand, is a heavily curated evening of drinking. This campy bar has chairs glued to the ceiling, upside-down portraits of presidents on the walls, and over-the-top drinks, like a $50 fluorescent blue cocktail with a white chocolate strawberry float (sheesh). As showy as they may be, Cold Shoulder’s drinks are delicious, including the smoky tequila-spiked Amores Perros with chocolate-chipotle bitters. Plan on spending over $20 on a nice cocktail before using your leftover budget on beers at Blue Collar." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder
