Exiles Bar - Review - U Street - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"Exiles sits at the midpoint between the Dupont, Adams Morgan, and 14th & U St neighborhoods, a location that’s easy to get to and far enough from nightlife epicenters to throw stray drunks off its scent. Inside there are two floors and a patio offering modest tavern vibes with exposed brick walls, wooden furniture, and little decoration besides the scarves, flags, and pennants of the teams the bar supports. Exiles is an official watch bar for Penn State, the Buffalo Bills, the UNC Tar Heels, and Liverpool FC, and also shines as a reliable watering hole to watch any local or nationally broadcast match. The kitchen serves pub staples including burgers, wings, and flatbreads, but the star of the menu is the Irish chicken curry served over rice and chips (fries). Order at the bar or take one to-go to rescue you from your hangover the next day. On weekends and big game nights the place fills wall-to-wall.
