"This cozy Altadena restaurant from one of theAll-Timefounders opened as Bernee less than a month before the January wildfires, but was forced to close after narrowly escaping the flames. Now it's reemerged with a new name, Betsy, in honor of the chef-owner’s late mother. The menu still revolves around the glowing wood-fired hearth in the middle of the dining room, with blistered vegetables, a big ribeye, and focaccia, plus some newly added raw bar options." - Cathy Park
