"The best natural wine bars are a little goofy. They have stubby glassware, gaudy decor, ‘90s color palettes, and names that shout “Please don’t take me seriously.” Binx, from the Moonflower team, checks every box on that list—but silly as it seems, it is a serious place. It’s seriously great for drinks with friends in the West Village, for example, and it has an interesting low-intervention wine list in addition to small plates that aren’t just for show. Make a reservation to guarantee yourself a seat in the compact room lined with pastel murals, and pair your biodynamic Sicilian white with a heap of tuna tartare accompanied by an equally large pile of fries. photo credit: Erik Bernstein photo credit: Erik Bernstein photo credit: Erik Bernstein Pause Unmute" - Bryan Kim
