The 6 Best Farmers Markets In Houston

"When: every Sunday from 10am to 2pm The East End block is hot. This weekly event is just as much a produce market as a local craft fair. It’s also a great way to get some local goods while waiting for a brunch table at Ninfa’s On Navigation because there are as many people here selling vegetables as huaraches. Everyone is either watching someone demonstrate honey harvesting, or taking selfies in front of one of the many colorful esplanade murals. And, sometimes a mariachi band shows up. Apart from great food, you never know what to expect in the East End. " - chelsea thomas, gianni greene, julie takahashi
