Butterfly - Review - Culver City - Los Angeles - The Infatuation
"Located on top of The Shay in Culver City (above Zaytinya), the only thing this poolside hotel spot has going for it is the fact that it’s on a roof. The cocktails are watered-down and served in flimsy plastic cups and the bar food consists of skimpy overpriced tacos and bland ceviche. At least the views are good though. Just kidding. Bulky cabanas line the west side of the pool area, obscuring any hope of a sunset photo. Butterfly might catch on during the hotter months when sitting next to water counts for something, but as it stands, the crowd is mostly hotel guests on their phones trying to figure out if there’s any place better to eat in the area.
