Bagel shop with a wide range of spreads, plus smoked fish, hot egg dishes, and deli sandwiches.
"Pop’s Bagels started in 2017 as a catering operation, run out of the owner’s apartment. Now, they're a bit of a mini-chain with four locations across LA. These bagels are super simple, doughy, dense, and very tasty. The bacon and avocado is a favorite of ours—served with your choice of cream cheese (we like the pickled jalapeño, which is full of fatty and spicy flavors but won’t overpower the bagel beneath). You should also get the What Zach Had For Breakfast, a rotating special involving sweet-and-savory combos like a sesame bagel topped with Santa Barbara Smokehouse lox on one side, and cream cheese and strawberry jam on the other." - sylvio martins, arden shore, garrett snyder
"Somehow you got conned by your overachieving friend to get up at 6am on a Saturday and hike three miles. Take back control of the itinerary and head to Pops afterwards. The popular bagel shop at The Platform serves doughy, dense bagels that always hit the spot after an early morning workout. The everything is our favorite - served with your choice of cream cheese (we like the pickled jalapeño option, which is full of fatty and spicy flavors). You should also get the “What Zach Had For Breakfast,” a rotating special involving sweet-and-savory combos like a sesame bagel topped with Santa Barbara Smokehouse lox on one side, and cream cheese and strawberry jam on the other." - brant cox
"Pop’s Bagels is expanding again, pushed in part by a favorable cameo in that famous New York Times California bagel article from a while back. The new shop at 9300 Culver Boulevard — part of the Culver Steps development — is open as of last weekend, and moving forward will keep hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday (with Monday opening up later this spring)." - Farley Elliott

These bagels are super simple, doughy, dense, and very tasty. The bacon and avocado is a favorite of ours—served with your choice of cream cheese (we like the pickled jalapeño, which is full of fatty and spicy flavors, but won’t overpower the bagel beneath). "Pop’s Bagels is preparing to shuffle from the Platform development over to the Culver Steps. The more centrally-located Culver project is almost ready to roll, meaning the time has come to shut down Pop’s at Platform." - Farley Elliott
