Larrys - Review - Mile End - Montreal - The Infatuation

"It's a rare spot that can be all things to all people, but Mile End’s Larrys really does have something for everybody, at any time of day. Painted wood floors and a big round bar at the center of the restaurant might be old-fashioned, but the approach (including the fact that tips are included) is distinctively modern. Great wine list with lots of orange options, and oysters to go with them? Check. All-day breakfast? Check. We’re big fans of their burgers (veg or no-veg) and the pikelets—little pancakes that pair nicely with the in-house smoked salmon. And if you’re feeling fancy, their small-plates/tasting menu spot around the corner, Lawrence, fits the bill for a romantic night out. You can also take home all the fixings for lunch or dinner from their butcher and deli-ish shop, Boucherie Lawrence, just up the street." - Ivy Lerner-Frank
