Where To Eat A Great Chopped Cheese in NYC

"Compton’s makes officially the most expensive chopped cheese on this guide, priced at $15. But when you consider that you can play Pac-Man while you wait for your sandwich at either of the Greenpoint and Astoria branches of this sandwich shop, it’s not such a bad deal. Add in that this sandwich is made on a crusty sesame semolina loaf, with crunchy iceberg lettuce. The beef is rich, the cheese is gooey, the ketchup and mustard flavors are on point, and it’s a faithful, if a bit fancier, representation of the sandwich." - will hartman
