"The space that is now Pete’s Candy Store in Williamsburg used to be a general store, a diner, and a place to play poker before it became a spot for live music in 1999. Shows are free (although there is a suggested $10 donation), and they happen in a saloon-like room on an old-timey stage that looks like its made for vaudeville shows. If you need a break from the music, there’s a large backyard to hang out in." - Neha Talreja
