Madre Mezcaleria

"There used to be a Mexican restaurant called El Atoradero Brooklyn in Prospect Heights, but then it got a new chef and changed its name to Madre Mezcaleria. Other than that - and the fact that there’s now a very long mezcal list to choose from - not a lot has changed. The food itself still isn’t worth traveling for, but if you live in the area, it’s a decent spot to know about. The tacos are fine, the mole is pretty good, and there’s a nice little back patio." - Bryan Kim
