"The Pine Garden’s open-faced pineapple tart recipe was handed down by his grandmother, who picked it up from her neighbours. His mother learnt the recipe and has been selling them in the bakery for the past 35 years. Not much of the production process has since changed. Most steps are still done by hand — from slicing and grating the pineapples and rolling the pineapple jam to moulding and cutting the dough." - Kenneth Goh
