"I almost always stay here when I'm in town because it's one of my favorite hostels — the downtown location has a big, busy bar and a super fun, social atmosphere that makes it easy to meet people. It's popular with travelers who want to chill and smoke; while it's not the cheapest, the showers are good, the pillows and beds are super comfy, and each bed has charging points. Because of its famous reputation it's almost always full, though there is an uptown location near Vondelpark that's quieter and much smaller if you want a more relaxed stay." - Matthew Kepnes
