"In 2006 the University of Applied Science Berlin settled here, building its second location in the old industrial buildings of the cable factory KWO and AEG buildings. The whole campus area at Wilhelminenhofstraße includes both landmark architecture and new buildings. Students can relax in front of the cafeteria on the beach at river Spree or enjoy a coffee in the large courtyard. Although you cannot tell its design background by the name, HTW’s design department is quite successful and well known in the German design community.
