"While their ice cream is technically churned down the road in Santa Monica, the Palisades outpost of Sweet Rose Creamery boasts unique flavors and a more laid-back atmosphere. Started by design and ice cream aficionado Shiho Yoshikawa, Sweet Rose took off with local farm-to-table restaurant gurus Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan of Rustic Canyon fame. Flavors change monthly (pictured here is a yummy butterscotch) and ingredients are all from respected local farms. They also make what is probably the best coffee in the Palisades.
