Connecting Barcelona and Paris in around two and a half hours, this TGV INOUI high-speed rail line offers a fast, comfortable and more sustainable alternative to flying or driving between the two cities. The route has already carried two million passengers in just two years of operation, and the current promotion underlines its appeal, with 8,000 tickets on sale for €39 and regular fares starting from about €80 once the deal ends. The journey emits 98 percent less CO₂ than flying and 93 percent less than driving, and the train also stops at Girona and Figueres in Catalonia, making it an efficient way to combine major sights like Paris’s Eiffel Tower and Seine with Barcelona’s tapas scene and Mediterranean setting. - Laia Jordà Sánchez
