A suburban Joe's outpost.

Anthony Bourdain famously named Kansas City’s most iconic gas station barbecue as one of his “13 places to eat before you die.” This is the original gas station location, very good also normally very busy. There's a more suburban option too.

This was recommended to me by a KC native as her favorite BBQ place, it is slightly off the beaten path and nothing special to look at, but the food is great.

They have a few locations around KC, but these are the best bagels I've found in the midwest.
