"Born from a desire to preserve traditional papermaking, this cosy one-room shop — founded by Tran Hong Nhung and operating in its current location since 2016 — showcases products made from Do tree bark using age-old techniques. The range includes practical stationery like notebooks and calendars as well as whimsical items such as handheld fans, watercolour postcards, earrings and lampshades, with paper art spilling out onto the pavement. The founder works with papermaking villages (notably in Bac Ninh Province), runs village tours to connect artisans with buyers, and focuses on design innovation and sustainable, social-business practices that appeal to younger Hanoians." - Joshua Zukas
