"Conceived and built by Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, this surreal alabaster temple features an exterior of plaster embedded with glass pieces that glitter in the sun and is filled with ornate sculptures and carvings. Inside, vivid-hued murals combine traditional Buddhist imagery with unexpected pop-culture figures such as Harry Potter and Michael Jackson.
