"The Pacific coast of Oaxaca is pretty close to paradise on earth, and mercifully it’s extremely under-traveled compared to Mexico’s marquee destinations. In fact it’s shocking at this late date that a place like Villa Escondida can have a little stretch of coastline all to itself, a short distance from the Huatulco airport. This is not strictly a hotel, but a guest house: with four suites it’s about as small as they come, and is reserved as a fully staffed villa rather than room-by-room." - Tablet Hotels
