"Yes, there’s a certain cheekiness inherent in the name — after all, plenty of Parisian hotels unironically aspire to the status of a mythical city of gold, but for the low-key and unpretentiously stylish Hotel Eldorado, luxury is more a state of mind. The location, in Batignolles, is a desirable one, close to Montmartre and Pigalle but far enough from the center of the city to afford L’Eldorado some space to breathe; its courtyard garden, onto which its restaurant opens, is an extravagant benefit of its relatively low-rent locale." - Tablet Hotels
