The atmosphere is intimate, with a small reception instead of a big lobby, and its mail-exchange past is present in every detail: rooms named after stamps, postcards, envelopes, letters, and carriages, plus antique writing desks, rotary phones, built-in bookcases, and framed sketches of the original post office.
