"Set within a historic 18th-century finca between Deià and Sóller, I was greeted by a breathtaking, uninterrupted view of the knobbled northwest spine of the Serra de Tramuntana—contoured by fields of orange trees, olive and almond groves, and vineyards of Malvasia and Syrah, with native goats grazing—when I emerged from the pink, womb-like “Sweet” suite onto a secluded terrace dappled by slouching palm trees. The Balearic sun beats down on this 15-room enclave, which combines a hotel, farm, restaurant, art space and shop; owned and run by wife-and-husband duo fashion photographer Kate Bellm and artist Edgar Lopez, it opened in 2023 and is now in its third season, operating with an all-female leadership team. I took a slow yoga class on the patio and luxuriated in the suite’s curvaceous bath, and throughout my stay felt that design, craft and cooking are approached here with equal fervor." - Anna Cafolla
