"Co-owners Monetta White and David Lawrence moved their Southern-inspired eatery from San Francisco's Fillmore Jazz District to SFO in 2017. Hungry travelers will revel in menu items like barbecue shrimp n' grits, three-hour maple syrup-braised beef short ribs, tasso ham deviled eggs and fried chicken and rosemary waffles with chile-maple syrup." - Michelin Guide Digital-Hong Kong Macau

"Lauded for its gospel brunches and soulful, swanky vibe, it was the place to hobnob with community leaders and attend fund-raisers for neighborhood causes. 1300 often played host to summer programs for local kids eating out at a restaurant for the first time. For me, it was a place to see other diners who looked like me." - ByShakirah Simley

"But in Yoshi’s absence, restaurateurs like David Lawrence have cited far less foot traffic as a cause for closures. Lawrence’s restaurants 1300 on Fillmore and Black Bark BBQ couldn’t survive without more feet on the street, though he hopes to relocate Black Bark on a livelier block of Fillmore." - Caleb Pershan

Terrible establishment based purely on the service of the wait staff who served us around 7pm tonight. He gave us time to view the menu but then left it so long to come back we had to ask him to come over. We ordered a Sprite and a beer. He delivered the beer but no Sprite. 5 min later I went to the bar to ask about the Sprite and he miraculously appeared 2 minutes later with the drink. We ordered the tomato soup, a burger and a side of fries and paid $69 USD! What a rip off. The table next to us was empty but full of dishes. The restaurant was not busy. He eventually cleared the table but it was not wiped down. The menu stated a 5% charge is added to the bill to take care of staff benefits and retention which we interpreted that no tip was required. Based on his lax approach I was not going to tip anyway. He handed me a receipt with a total showing $53.68 but I was charged $69.49. He gave us a bill for another table. He asked me why I was not tipping and I told him his approach was lazy and he needs to pay more attention to his customers. He then threw the receipt on the table and disputed my recollection of his actions. I told him he needs to be ready to hear all feedback if he’s going to ask why a customer will not tip. This guy is not doing this brand any favours.

Google
Very dissapointed. I have seen cleaner fast food chains. Greasy fingerprints everwhere, stains on chairs, and floors. The breakfast food seemed like reheated costco products. Ordered an old fashioned, and it was barely a drink. He did at least apologize for having just plain ice at the time. I felt that for the price, I should at least have a clean place to be at. The place was dead, but with 3 backstaff having a whole conversation, maybe some of them should have been cleaning the place. 2 people, for breakfast and 1 cocktail was $100. Dennys is cheaper, cleaner, and at least cooks your food, instead of microwaving costco foid.

In SFO at the end of G gate area. Plenty of seating. Nice selection. Sat down and waited, and waited. Finally recieved a menu as I prefer the paper menu vs scan and search. Then I waited and waited and finally flagged a waiter. Ordered a 20oz draft Blue Moon. Then I wait and waited. BLUE Moon arrived, nice and cold. HiT the spot. While I enjoyed my beer I saw several food orders go bye. They all looked and smelled great. Flagged a staff member down to pay my tab. Then I waited and waited. Finally recieved a receipt. Then I waited and waited until a staff member came over placed a scan and pay device in front of me. I then performed the close out transaction and even printed out my own receipt. I did not know I was a new hire here. I say it will be faster to just buy a beer at one of the shops. KEEP ON WALKING and save yourself about an hour.

Food was plain and boring. Steak sandwich was cheap cut with melted cheddar on Turkish with no sauce. Apparent favourite coasting $25 was absolute rubbish. Elite frites were better value but was boring compared to most loaded fries I’ve had before. Most draft beers not available, and the coors was dead flat. Service was ok. Would not recommend or ever eat again.

International Gate G area: Awful service, the staff rudely told us to leave a table after we had settled in because the section was supposedly closed. First of all, the section wasn't clearly closed at all. Secondly, there were no other tables available for a group of four. So instead of accommodating us or finding an alternate arrangement, they just walked off with attitude. So we walked out of the place and were welcomed not too far away with kindness.

High price for mediocre food. No menus to hold. Jane to prefer on your phone and pay on your phone with a service charge and a 20% gratuity forced. So you pay an additional $25 for little service 🥺

Great place to hangout in international terminal G. It’s at the very far end and has access to patio as well. Got the quesadilla, it was crisp and warm. Probably one of the best airport food.

Ordered korean bao buns. Menu described it as having gochujang sauce and cucumbers. We got a deep fried bao bun with cubed chicken in a bbq (?) sauce. No cucumbers. Fries were decent, service was fast.
