Nestled within the Tin Building, this chic vegan spot boasts a fresh, flavorful menu, a laid-back vibe, and a stunning decor perfect for any meal.
"Formerly Seeds & Weeds, the Seaport outpost of Jean-Georges’ Flatiron vegetarian and vegan restaurant is on the second floor of the Tin Building. This gorgeous, plant-filled space—with lots of light wood and warm lighting—feels like exactly the right environment to drop $17 on green juice (technically, per the menu, a “Mindful Vibration”) served in a wine glass. We love the dates stuffed with coconut yogurt and tahini, and the crunchy fried maitake mushroom sprinkled with housemade togarashi. "Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s food hall in the former Fulton Fish Market offers breakfast and lunch options to go or to stay, with stellar views from inside seating or outside facing the water. There’s lots to choose from, though consider the newly opened branch of vegetable-focused Abc-V upstairs." - Eater Staff

"Note: This restaurant has been rebranded as the second location of its sister restaurant, AbcV. Seeds & Weeds isn’t the most appetizing name for a restaurant, but this place does indeed serve flavorful vegetarian and vegan food. Start with a green juice in a wine glass, then try the blue corn sourdough bread with hazelnut butter, and the sweet, spicy, tomato broth with corn-and-shiitake-stuffed wontons (our favorite thing here). This second floor restaurant has a bunch of potted plants, light wood furniture, and pastel green seating, and it’s the only place to eat in the Tin Building where you can get a view of the East River—so try to get a table next to a window." - Kenny Yang, Matt Tervooren, Hannah Albertine
