I’ve been to Agua de Día once before for happy hour and returned recently, and it continues to impress. The space is impeccably curated—fabulous from the moment you walk in. The building itself is beautiful, and the arched windows above the bar create such an elevated, inviting atmosphere. The service was on point, and the location in the Warehouse District is lovely. I sat at the bar and ordered the calamari as an appetizer—delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully done. The crowd was lively, the energy was great, and I had a wonderful time. I can’t wait to come back in the spring and summer to enjoy the outdoor patio—it looks absolutely divine.

What an experience!!! Classy welcoming place .. decor and ambiance … wonderful amazing menu .. creative delicious choices .. excited they had Bresaola which was perfect. Truffle pasta. Elk with wild mushrooms (we changed from carrots). Sourdough bread w EVOO and Parmesan / olives. We’ll be back for sure !

The cuisine is always AMAZING!!! Very good quality and consistent. The bartender Mladin is the BEST IN THE CITY OF CLEVELAND. And Richard provided us with the BEST customer service ever. I will always recommend for fine dining. Thank you all for Excellence. 😊😊

good evening. my hubby and I were delightfully enthralled by our dining experience here. The octopus was supple and grilled very excellently. Similarly the ndjua was excellent and the burrata was the perfect complement. I had the crab raviolis which were divine - perfectly saucy so yummy. my better half got swordfish and it was a large piece of fish but could’ve used more salt and acid. Bread was mid. Our server was very passionate about the menu, explained every single item in detail, I liked that. Anytime they offer you espresso after your meal, that’s class. The toilet paper was 1 ply, in a tragic turn of events. Right when I needed 3 ply most. Will be back!

This place is fantastic. We got two dinners so we could have two experiences and our waiter brought them one at a time and cleaned our table and reset it each time if you’re in the Cleveland area you should definitely stop by this restaurant.

The tres carpaccio was nice. Sits on a bed of radish. The picture does not do it justice since I ate half of it before it was take. Martin's are good and staff was friendly.

The best two and half hour dinner we have had in a very long time! Staff made us feel as if we were the only people they were there to attend to. Our server, William, was new but very attentive to answering any questions. The restaurant manager made sure the evening ended wonderfully with a suggested digestif that finished the Valentine’s Dinner perfectly! Can’t wait to go back!

Brought a client here, it was lunch time on a Friday and I was literally the only table, save a group of 3 at the bar. When I walked in I had to wait a few minutes for the host to stop staring at his phone before he noticed me. He put us in a back corner that was difficult to get into. It was weird because there were like, 20 other tables that were easier to access. All the chairs and the table top were covered in crumbs. Our waiter was friendly and brought the menus (unsure why the host didn't do that). I'm pretty sure our 'water' was a pitcher of chemicals. It was the most foul tasting liquid I've ever drank. We were worried for a while that we were going to be sick after taking a swim ofbthe mystery liquid. He brought us fresh tap after, but that was a serious health risk. Our food was delicious, despite the very rocky start. I dont think I will return though.

The experience of sitting at the bar with Albi was educational, fun and engaging! His personality was warm and inviting and ince i explained the type of drink items enjoy, he made me a perfect cocktail! I sampled several items and here is the scoop. The light caprese salad had multi colored slices of grape tomatoes sitting next to two EVOO drizzled mozzarella. A small bed of lightly dressed arugula and fresh basil was so refreshing accompaniments. The HH sized Veal tortellini was rich and enough for a small meal. Lastly, the lobster and shrimp with a light white sauce was incredible! Typically, I don't like seafood pizza but this was an exception. After a slice, my tummy was satisfied. It even reheated the next day with a lil olive oil drizzle! We shall returnnnnnnn

Had a great meal here - the artichoke appetizer is absolutely to die for (10/10). I also had the verde pasta (6/10) and the cheesecake (5/10). Our server was excellent and the wine was delicious. I definitely want to try more of the menu!

Happy hour menu is AMAZING! The drinks and food are exceptionally priced for how high quality the dishes were. The service and ambiance is also high level. My girlfriends and I enjoyed hours of food and drinks and had to force ourselves out of the restaurant. I can't wait to be back!

Saccheti lunch portion is a bit small for price, but still delicious. Wish they gave bread for lunch as well

I'm assuming it's the same restaurant (Acqua di Dea) but we came here for resturaunt week and absolutely loved it! Started off with complimentary bread and an olive oil balsamic mixture and this dip was addicting!! Started off with appetizers with a caprese salad which was so refreshing. Ordered the fillet mignon which was a 6oz steak that was cooked medium rare with a nice char and the asparagus was delicious! Ordered a mascarpone cheesecake for dessert which ended the dinner on a sweet note! Service was great and it was such a great time!

The portions are quite dainty so your bill can really add up. However, the service is top notch. I prefer the sister restaurant in terms of flavor for the sauteed calamari appetizer and for the bread. This place used to have the same bread as the sister, but they have since changed it. It's still good (and appreciated that it's served warm), just not as good as the other. I also don't care for the ricotta with fig reduction, but that's also a personal preference. Overall, the food is good, but the service is what makes it great!

Acqua di Dea retains the gorgeous atmosphere and high-quality service of its predecessor (our server, Giuseppe, was both attentive and informed about the menu). The food, however, falls short of the aesthetic trappings. During our trip we started with gnudi and caprese salad, then split fusilloni and stagionale (salmon with lobster ravioli). The best course we had was the complimentary bread service. The gnudi were so overly salted we were unable to finish the course; and while the caprese and truffle fusilloni were both totally fine, the clashing flavors of salmon and lobster in the stagionale did not work together at all. Ultimately, there is still plenty of value in a date night at Acqua due to the aforementioned aesthetics and impressive wine list. The food itself, however, leaves much to be desired.

Came here for a birthday celebration. They sat us in a corner with another table even though most of the restaurant was open so that was not ideal. I kept bumping chairs with the other table. The beef was pretty goof. It is definitely seafood forward, so be prepared for that. The salmon was excellent!

Celebrating over the holidays is special and when you find a great location you need to share .... But this restaurant falls a bit short in a few categories. As I eluded, the physical space is cool and welcoming. The service was just ok. A great server anticipates your needs, ours was so-so at that. The last essential category is the food. All of our guests, whether they ordered steak or seafood, mentioned how salty all the dishes were. Unfortunately I had to concur. Overall, I would suggest you give it a try. Maybe they had an off night. Hopefully you'll find I'm wrong ... but I doubt it. Ciao!

The ambiance is like that of a dimly lit, fancy, but cozy date night. If you're looking to try their happy hour you need to get there right when they open because it fills up fast. We had a dinner reservation for five and service was excellent. They started us off with fresh bread and a tasty oil to dip into. Then we all ordered something different to test out. I got two sides - the veal tortellini in a parmesan cream sauce, and sautéed escarole with beans and sausage. Both were delicious and big portions. For dessert we also got a variety, and I would recommend the cheesecake. It was so light and a wonderful end to our evening. This place is pricey, so be prepared to spend your dough. But I thought it was worth it. Also the name is now Acqua Di Dea for some reason.

We have been two times recently. My wife and I ate with some friends a month ago. A few nights ago, we went with clients (not my choice) and now I feel I need to review. The last visit just fell flat. First time, we were there for 3 hours. The waitress was amazing. She held it all together. (sorry, I cannot remember her name) The Artichoke app for $14 was just average and small. One Bite each. Two if you were dainty. The scallops were good. The langoustine I would save my money and not do again. We split a wedge salad. It was OK. My Filet was under. It was corrected. They had the sole. They enjoyed it. The de-boning was fun to watch. I don't even remember what my wife had. All in all, it was just mediocre. Not horrible, but not WOW, we have to go again soon! Now, the other night sealed it for me. I will skim over this part. We had the artichokes. Same issue. We had a special halibut Ceviche of sorts. I did not try it. They seemed to enjoy. I had the soup of the day Beef stock with parmesan dumplings. It was too salty and adding the parmesan dumplings put it over. The dumplings were also too dense. Did not eat them. I had the Romana salad. Overdressed and one note. Did not finish. FYI, They never offer fresh pepper or cheese. I had the Fusilloni and wifey had the Verde. Both just OK. Even the bread service is just OK. They seem to want to turn tables. I get it, but when it's not busy, why. The bar area is very noisy compared to the back room. Be sure to ask when being seated. We will try Oliva, but will not return here anytime soon. For the money, you want it to be better. Heck, for half the money, I'd want it to be better!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our meal and at the end, we asked each other "is this place memorable" and we said no. That's why I decided to give this place 3 stars. We started out with an olive/focaccia bread. The breads were baked well but I didn't care about the flavor. It had this cheesy dip which did not add anything to the bread. This week was restaurant week so we decided to come here for that. We were offered 3-course meal. I got grilled eggplant salad which I thought was refreshing. All the ingredients were fresh and sweet. My boyfriend got escarole salad. He thought it was pretty good. We decided to share a carpaccio. This dish was not part of the restaurant week's deal. The cut of the meats were a bit too thick. However, the meats were high quality so the thickness did not make it hard to chew the meats, as they were very tender. The lemon wedge was very essential to give the dish the acidity it needed. They could make this better by cutting the slices thinner and maybe consider adding capers. Adding capers might not make this Italian style though. For entrees, my boyfriend got iverno which was filet mignon with mushrooms and carrots. He thought it was a bit salty. It seemed like the chef did not mix the salt throughout. Some parts were too salty and some were okay. My frutti di mare was the same way as well, a bit salty. Nevertheless, those dishes were still edible (and even good) though they were too salty. The filet mignon was very tender. The sauce that went with it was interesting. Not sure in a good way or bad way. The frutti di mare was okay. At the end, my boyfriend got a tiramisu and I got a cheesecake. He thought the ratio between the coffee, cream and lady finger cookies were very balanced in the tiramisu. I wished it had more coffee. The cheesecake was pretty good and light. It was tasted a bit coconut to me. I liked the whipped cream they had. Both desserts were not too overly sweet which was a plus. Overall, this place has a lot of potential. They just need to be mindful on how much salt they can add in a dish.

Best happy hour!!! Seafood pizza is a must have. Loved the veal tortellini and the pear cocktail. Not to be missed!

Came to Acqua Di Luca for our first wedding anniversary because we hosted our rehearsal dinner here in late 2023. Upon a multiple course meal, we went to pay using a gift certificate gifted to us 10 months prior. Unfortunately, the waiter refused to take our certificate because the owners had parted ways and a rebranding had occurred within the past 6 months. This was news to us as when we made our reservation, we were told they still took gift certificates. Hard to be too upset given our reason for celebration, but very disappointed in the staff's response and lack of understanding, especially for a place of business that had meant something to us. An unexpected high bill later, the staff was not apologetic and did not comp anything off the bill for the miscommunication.

I HATE IT. i found a roach in my food. it was a nasty stench and the customer was THE WORST!!! my kids ate the food and said it smelled weird. NEVER COMING BACK EVER!! and im sueing bye loves #YOLO

Visited this past Saturday and were seated with Easton as our server. Great service, we took his recommendations and were not disappointed. Wine selections were great, we usually look for a Greek wine and we loved it! Our first time back since the re-brand and excited to visit again soon!

10/10, service, decor, menu, and wine selection put Acqua Di Luca my new favorite Luca location. I never thought I would say that, Luca West holds a special place in my dining rotation...as does Superior Viaduct. We stopped for dinner and drinks before the Cavs game on a Monday night. The bar was busy, the holiday crowd was still lingering from the weekend and the game crowd started to fill in the gap. I'm glad we made a reservation beforehand. We were promptly greeted and sat. Drinks were ordered, get a bottle of Malbec, you will love it. The specials were recited, and I am happy to say the tuna tartar with fresh honeycomb was insanely delicious. The tuna was perfect, it melted like butter. Next, we ordered salad and the chopino. The seafood stock paired with fish, clams, shrimp and scallops was divine. Did I mention it wax $12, insane! Next we opted for the asparagus ravioli and scampi special, along with the gnocchi with lobster. Both entrees were perfectly cooked, seasoned and full of fresh flavor. The chef, along with the text of the kitchen are a talented bunch. I may have to add thus location to my rotation in the Luca family. Outstanding concept with depth and flavor.

So wanted to take the wife somewhere nice for her birthday. Well Aqua Di Luca did not disappoint. When we arrived at 5:00 P.M., we were one of the first people in the restaurant. Inside of the restaurantis very nice, not too fancy and too Bar and Grille. We were seated right away. Our waiter James was one of those old skool waiters, who knew exact what he was doing. The menu had a nice selection and James told us about a few specials that weren't on the menu. Which I took advantage of. For the appetizers we had the Shrimp. The wife had the Salmon Ravioli , I went with the Scallop Special over Risotto, which to be honest with you was a Wooooooooo! Choice of the night. Great portion and Scallops were big and delicious. The wife had no complaints. Whewww! For dessert, James gave my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday. He choose the Tiramisu. And I got the vanilla cake. My wife said th tiramisu was one of the best she had. Overall great experience. Don't sleep on this place. Great food, Great atmosphere and Great service.

Flew here on 6:45 am flight and by dinner I am truly exhausted but this food gave me life!!! Delicious, well-seasoned and simply amazing. Main course was slow getting out but we all agree was worthy of the wait. No management presence or acknowledgment but I guess you can't have it all. ENJOY!!!

Took ~50 minutes after our reservation time to get a menu. Total disaster. The lobster tail was like chewing through leather

I think the Chef lost his taste somewhere . We used up all the salt because nothing was seasoned right . Old tomatoes & old lettuce served. Tiramisu $14 Last time I checked it was max tiramisu I had in a nice restaurant was $9 . This place just lost 6 customer . Waste of money. They keep serving bread so you can forget how bad the food is .

Came here for a father's day meal (I know, I'm a bit late writing this review), but we had a wonderful meal and experience. The old exposed-brick interior and lively atmosphere made for an entertaining evening...not to mention the excellent Mediterranean-inspired seafood dishes we sampled! My wife and I each ordered cocktails that were expertly crafted and a great start to the meal. While we waited for the main dishes to arrive, our server brought out a warm loaf of bread accompanied by a seasoned olive oil that was perfect for dipping. Each of us (me, my wife and daughter) got a main dish plus we also ordered a plate of vegetables to share. The julienned seasonal vegetables sautéed in oil and herbs was a great way to ensure we each got our veggies...plenty to go around. My daughter's lobster knuckles and claws served over sweet potato gnocchi with truffle butter was definitely on the sweeter side, but she loved it. My wife had a fish filet special served with an herby cream sauce and a side of micro-greens. My sole di ripiene di limone plate consisted of filet of sole served over cheese-stuffed crab meat, spinach and a sundried tomato cream sauce; it was definitely the "to die for" dish on the table. So glad we came here to give them a try; we love Luca Italian Cuisine and this (sister) spot did not disappoint either!

Pretty disappointed for a high-end restaurant. We were seated at a wobbly table and had to ask for it to be fixed. Service was slow from the start -- it took a while to get drinks, appetizers, or even anyone to check in. Throughout the entire meal, there was barely any service at all. Meanwhile, a higher-up or manager was going around checking on other tables but completely passed by ours. Both main courses were underwhelming, and the crab ravioli wasn't enjoyable. Had to give my first lower tip -- pretty upset about what should've been an enjoyable night.

Great food , drinks, and friendly service. Beautiful space. Had the veal tortellini and it was delicious. Huge portion, almost too much, but I took more than half home . Perfectly cooked and nicely flavored. The sauce was delicious and creamy. The bread they give you prior to serving you your main meal is INCREDIBLE!! The bread itself is worth a visit!! Warm, and somehow dense and airy at the same time. Also had a tequila ginger cocktail. Nice and smooth but also packed a punch! Nice addition to the Warehouse District.

We had dinner at one of our favorite places recently. Wow, things have changed. They should renamed the restaurant "The Salt Cave". Every course we had was loaded with salt, I'll be well preserved these next few days. It was an awful experience, from the presentation, to the food and to add insult to injury, a $150 bill. Our young waiter was a sweet kid. We will return when they sell the business to the next restaurateur, which won't be long.

Very mediocre. My girlfriend and I went for my birthday and were disappointed by everything outside of the atmosphere and the wine list. We started with the oysters and sautéed shrimp starters. The oysters were tasteless and the lime cream makes for a bizarre combination - we scrapped it off the last four as it was the equivalent of eating fish with cheese. The shrimp were fine - the accompanying "salad" that came with it was a flaccid, tasteless mess. We had the filet and orecchiette; the filet was well cooked and the orecchiette was fine; neither were worth the price. The best part of the meal, surprisingly, was the mushroom side dish - I would order again. The sommelier was great; otherwise, service was poor - we both felt like we were inconveniencing our server who didn't even realized we sat down. The service felt like we were at a fast food restaurant. Not worth the price - tons of other better options in Cleveland.

Unbeatable service, fantastically unique earthy beet infused vodka cocktail, huge two-meal elk shank that was tender yet lean. The burrata was melt in your mouth in a moat of super juicy sweet fresh tomato sauce and crostini.

Good downtown location with friendly staff. The pasta was delightful. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty.

Wonderful dinner at this restaurant! We started with the seared tuna and oysters, followed by the sea bass and the new york strip. The flavors in each dish were exceptional! Our server was knowledgeable and helpful and the vibe in the restaurant was great for a date night. Will definitely come back.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service, our app came out before we even got our drinks. Our waitress often forgot about us. We ended up getting our meal for free due to how bad and unorganized this place was. Save your money.

Took international vendors out for a dinner. Great space, tucked away in a corner so we could have a nice conversation over our meals. Wait staff was attentive and very helpful explaining the menu. I went with the lamb because who am I kidding, I'm not cooking lamb at home! Delicious and generous potions. We also did a salmon cream cheese appetizer that was incredible and I don't really like salmon so kudos to them for hitting it out of the park!

Quite pricey but this was definitely an amazing meal. The cocktails were good and there is a good variety of options on the food menu. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was fantastic

Enjoy Acqua di Luca on a weekday evening for my friend's birthday. It is the holiday season, so there was a decent crowd. The atmosphere was great, low lighting, decorated Christmas trees, not too loud. The food portions were hearty and delicious! They even gave us a pribted photo to remember to occasion.

It's unfortunate all the noise has not been addressed. This time we intentionally went on a night where the weather would require the doors and windows to be closed... It didn't help. This restaurant is just SO NOISY it is uncomfortable and impossible to hold a conversation. Dining is not just filling your stomach. It is a social experience. Without that interaction you might as well just go to McDonald's and sit on your cell phone. Sorry Luca... I know you're better than this.

Food was excellent. I tried the Elk shank. Never having Elk, I didn't know what to expect. Fabulous is all I can say. Would take that over steak any day. Service was questionable due to the huge crowd, because of the Stones concert. Ambiance was OK. Expensive! Would not return based on the price & service.

Arrived early before the dinner rush and glad I did! Seated quickly without a reservation. Service was good and very attentive. What could have made it better? If the manager would have stopped and and asked how we were enjoying our meals. At the table we had the lobster tail, the lobster ravioli with salmon and the crab risotto! All three dishes were absolutely delish. No over bearing flavors but very subtle pleasantries to the palate. Sweetest crab meat I've had in a while. Highly recommend. The ambiance is very chill. Total revamp from the previous decor. They did a lot with the small space.

Fantastic Italian restaurant. Acqua is Italian for waterfall as an aside. The service is excellent, the food is excellent, and the menu provides a plethora of choices for both food and drink. A dinner for two with tip will most likely run to about 200 so be prepared, but it's worth every penny for a fine dining experience. Located just 5 minute walk from downtown Marriott in a safe area free from panhandlers. Highly recommend!!!

I am come here two times now since it opened and I'm impressed with each visit. The bread that is served before a meal was fantastic it may be the best baked bread that I can think of. The veal chop was very tender and braised short ribs were as well. I recommend getting the veal tortellini for the side and it is spectacular with lots of flavor.

Disappointing first dinner here. Service was great which is a plus. Got socked w a $50 valet charge bc of all star weekend as well. Seemed a bit outrageous. My husband and I had oysters which were average. The cioppino soup was delicious. The gnocchi w lobster was enjoyable, had nice large pieces of lobster meat. Pasta more on the sweet side. My husbands salmon w lobster ravioli was undercooked (aka raw in the middle) and way over seasoned. Also no crab to be found in that dish unlike how it's described. We really had high hopes bc we love Luca so much. Maybe we will come back and try again on a non-event weekend.

Deferential service, great ambiance for the 40+ crowd. A bit too noisy. Very nice wine list keystoned, rather than the the 3-4x I see elsewhere. The ingredients are first class, with the olive oil and feta being exceptional. The salmon and stuffed sole were B+.

The first thing you pick up on as you walk in is the noise. For a party of two, it wasn't too big of a deal, however I could see how this could an issue for larger parties at a large table. The decor is very nice. Old exposed brick, hardwood floors, and nice lighting. The open air garage doors are nice as they let the breeze through the restaurant. It does open up the dining area to the noise from W 6th as well, especially on the weekends. Additionally the kitchen is open to the dining room. Nice to see where the food is prepared, although there is shelving holding random knickknacks which is a bit odd to see in the dining room. Cleaning solution next to an ice cream maker, and everything in between. Onto the food, the bread was very good. Soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. The olive oil also had a little sugar which was different. We got the sea bass and gnocchi bolognese. The sea bass fagiolini was cooked well, but didn't have much seasoning or flavor. The bed of beans the sea bass was sitting on did however have a heavy dose of salt. I ended up drinking 4-5 glasses of water, likely related to the salt, over the 1.5 hour dinner. The gnocchi bolognese did taste good, although the texture of the gnocchi was a bit soggy and not the more chewy texture I would've expected. The tiramisu was probably the highlight of the meal. The flavors were well balanced and the lady fingers weren't soaked enough to get the right flavor but not so soaked as to by sopping with coffee/liquor. The service was fine. The server was nice enough and came by to check in at the appropriate times. The manager also stopped by to see how things were going. Overall, the food was alright. Definitely a little pricey given what you get and the quality. If you can get over the noise, the atmosphere is very nice with the exception of the knickknack shelf. They did also seem to have to squeeze every inch of space for tables. A lot of the two person tables were in somewhat quarters with the open kitchen indoors and wedged between the building and the railing outdoors. While we sat inside, some of the outdoor seating I could definitely see giving you the sense that you're isolated and just having an impromptu dinner on the sidewalk of St. Clair. Also, the entrance isn't that apparent, it's on St. Clair, not on W. 6th or at the corner.

Had a delightful experience for our first time at Acqua Di Luca. We were craving some seafood and we were not disappointed. Destinee is an amazing server who had the best recommendations. When debating between different fish in the sea, she sees you. Overall, would recommend to a friend 5/5 stars.

Here for the first time tonight. The menu is inventive and well prepared. The atmosphere and decor are great. For mains we had the roasted bronzino and the tomahawk ribeye. Both were perfectly cooked The menu here offers so many types of fish -- 2 preparations of sole! The wines by the glass menu was deep for that kind of thing. They had a Sancerre, which I love and traditionally isn't by the glass a lot of places in Cleveland. If you like seafood, Italian cuisine and the warehouse district (or are just 2 for 3) you will be very happy here. I look forward to returning, because the menu is beguiling.

The restaurant has a very romantic and cozy, feel. The food s fantastic just like every Luca restaurant I have dined at! Overall wonderful service, great drinks, and great food!

My husband and I were in town last week and decided to give this a try. First, it really doesn't matter if you are sitting inside or out, because it's an open air restaurant meaning the doors to the patio seating areas are open, which made it really hot inside at our table until we were more used to it about an hour into our meal. We stood around for a while before someone noticed we were looking to be seated, and it took quite a long time to get our drinks placed. The bread with oil that was brought to the table was hot, crusty, and really tasty. We ordered the caprese salad to start, and that was also nicely presented and tasted fresh. We shared the salmon/lobster ravioli dish and a side of the gemelli pasta. The main seafood dish was very flavorful and a good portion to share between two people. The gemelli was a little bland though. I ordered an espresso martini and it was a little too acidic for my taste. Too full to eat dessert, our waitress gave us a complimentary tiramisu to take home (and it was unusual-tasting. Less like espresso soaked lady fingers, and more like liqueur). So all in all, pretty decent. HOWEVER. One of the waiters had such bad B.O. that every time he was nearby or walked to another table, my husband and I had to hold back gagging. The table next to us mentioned it amongst themselves as well, so it wasn't just us noticing it. That really killed what would have otherwise been a pretty good vibe and dinner experience.

The service and ambiance were great, but the food was disappointing. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and all of them lacked flavor and were underwhelming, especially for the price. The complementary bread was fantastic and the best part of the meal.
