Metro Detroit’s Best Italian Restaurants

"Adelina is a sleek downtown restaurant under the umbrella of Fabio Viviani, but the real stars here are the trio of Detroit chefs — Marco Dalla Fontana, Gabriel Botezan, and Gabriela Botezan. Outwardly, the restaurant reads trendy, but it serves warm and inviting Italian classics like sausage and peppers, fried calamari, and plenty of fresh pasta. Pro tip: You’ll want to order the giant wagyu meatball. Gabriela’s focaccia, as well as her desserts, are also exceptional." - Danny Palumbo

Our waiter Dorian was amazing! Food was amazing. We will definitely be back! They were very happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. We tried Cesar salad, Brussels sprouts salad, shrimp and lobster pasta, ravioli, potatoes, two desserts, drinks and lattes. Everything was fantastic.

I’ve been to Adelina twice now and both times have been exceptional! The food is so delicious. The service is top notch, and the atmosphere is quaint and elegant. The Espresso Martini and Espresso Old Fashioned…10/10. Baby Beets…10/10. Pasta…amazing! Ithzel was our server and she provided a wonderful experience.

Google
Highly recommend. Garret and Fabio were really nice. Chef Marco came to the table and made us feel special. Super nice man. The food was 10/10. Presentation was awesome. Desserts were so good. Had a couple options for the kids. The atmosphere was really nice. Parking was convenient. Attached to the same building. Will definitely be back!

Google
Reservations were not acknowledged and waited an extra hour to celebrate. Management finally came out and started to warm up to us the more complaints were made about service wait time. Arrived at 8:30pm left at 11:20pm. Even though staff started to apologize and offered to make it right with free appetizers time is of an essence. Ended up having a good night but IF i return i will just sit at the bar if there is availability.

Google
Dining here was a wonderful experience - the environment and food were fantastic. I’ve ordered lamb chops at several fine dining establishments, and the lamb chops at Adelina take the prize by a large margin. This isn’t a restaurant that tries to be fancy or adds tons of unnecessary ingredients for the sake of uniqueness; the blend of flavors and ingredients actually makes sense and complements each other perfectly.

We recently celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary on a Sunday afternoon with a family dinner at Adelina. The staff truly went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service impeccable. Our Maitre d' and servers were vey attentive without being intrusive. We had a variety of appetizers and entrees with each selection being exceptional: From the Wagyu meatballs, focaccia, and octopus, to the ravioli, lambchops, swordfish and pasta! Chef Gabriel Botezan came out to speak with us to make sure everything was to our liking. He even prepared a special pasta dish for us to sample! In addition, we were given a complimentary Adelina Tiramisu desert for our anniversary! We all agreed that this was one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed. Adelina is a restaurant that truly cares about providing a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. Thank you again Chef Gabriel and staff for making this a very enjoyable anniversary!

Google
An unbelievable experience tonight! The cocktails and service from Ken, (forgive me if I got the name wrong, I'm bad with names) were amazing! The food was absolutely incredible! Try the chocolate cake, as someone who rarely gets dessert, i cleaned my plate! One of the best meals of my life! Will be back

Google
Adelina has been on our list to visit for a while now and Kristy ensured we had a memorable experience. She was very accommodating, friendly and offered many of her personal favorites. The food was top notch and the drinks were as well. The social media representation beforehand accurately matched the in person experience.

Yelp
First things first; atmosphere is lovely. The dining room is decorated so beautifully for the Christmas season and the space was very clean. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken breast and it was extremely moist and flavorful. The carrots and potatoes it was paired with were equally delicious; my plate was left empty! The service was also great! Friendly staff and the server gave great food recommendations! The tiramisu was recommended and when I tell you it was to die for! 10/10

Yelp
One of my favorite new restaurants in Detroit! The restaurant offers a modern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. This makes a great spot for date night or celebrating a special occasion. The restaurant is stunning and offered a lot of seating options inside, at the bar, as well as outside seating. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The menu is seasonal, and offers many dishes made with local ingredients. For starters, we went with the focaccia and wagyu meatball. Both were absolutely delicious and I highly recommend! The focaccia was light, airy, and was seasoned with rosemary herb. It was served with the most simple yet delicious ricotta spread. The wagyu meatball was so delicious. Everything about this dish was to die for and would highly recommend! We decided on the Faroe island salmon for our main. This was very tasty as well. There was a nice crust on the salmon, and the fish was cooked perfectly and had a buttery texture. It wasn't overcooked one bit - one of my pet peeves, especially when paying a good price for salmon! I highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward to another occasion to go back!

Yelp
We made reservations at Adelina for a friends birthday. I liked the look better in person than in the photos. In person, the vibe is more adult and modern, low lighting, curves. We did find it a bit loud between the music and the sounds of others. They were ready for our reservation when we arrived. For a new restaurant I was impressed how well everything went: ready for the reservation, service, the pace of food and drinks. The cocktails were fantastic, the best of any I've tried at a new restaurant in the area. I started with the Pearl, which was fun, a popped bubble of smoke, but still had a fresh flavor. Everyone else was happy with theirs as well. We had a group of four and decided to order and share everything. We started with the meatball and the forccasia bread. The meatball is just that, one huge, delicious meatball surrounded by sauce, I'd recommend it. The bread and spread was good- fine. The salad was good size to share, the right size, fresh, perfect amount of dressing. We then had one of the pastas, the salmon, and another fish dish that was a special for the night. The pasta was fantastic, definitely made in house (I'm confused if we had a completely different dish than the other review who thought it was out of a box). I thought each of the fish dishes were less successful. The salmon was good, but I found it pretty average good. The other I didn't like the eggplant purée it came with, it was quite earthy. The fish was again, average. Overall, a mix, good enough that I would return and try other options. The other complaint we had was that with round chairs there was not anywhere to put a purse/bag. The manager, who came over to check on everything and was lovely, told us they do have purse hooks. I also appreciated that he checked in on the tables and appeared to want feedback. As it was a birthday we ended with one of the best desserts I've had out in awhile, the White Cloud. Beautifully presented and tasted lovely as well, and not overall sweet, fun and adult. Our entire table loved it. Overall, enough hits we would return.

Yelp
Trendy spot right near Campus Martius that boasts Italian-Mediterranean cuisine. My family visited on a busy Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and we enjoyed our dinner but it wasn't anything spectacular in my opinion. I did like that it was decorated nicely for the holidays, and the mainstay decor was sleek and modern. To start, I ordered the espresso martini (pretty good) and also got to try a sip of others including the Winter Lychee (very sweet) and Something Different (surprisingly well balanced). Most of the drinks, including glasses of wine, were averaging around $17-19 which I think is too expensive but that also seems to be the standard these days. Food was on the pricier side as well and you could tell the focus on quality ingredients was there, I just wasn't particularly wow'd by the menu offerings. I ended up going with the salmon entree and the most interesting part of the dish was a little crunch in the beluga lentils. Between the rest of the table, there were hits and misses with different dishes (pass on the Chitarra but get the Ravioli). For dessert, the table shared the Zeppoli and tiramisu which were both tasty but again nothing special. We were particularly disappointed in the complimentary birthday dessert as we had seen online a fabulous white cloud but instead they've switched to just vanilla ice cream with some lackluster meringue cookies on top (wah, wah). Otherwise, service was good as our water glasses were never empty and everything was served fairly quickly. I believe it was the manager that helped serve some of our food and checked in on how we were doing, which is always appreciated.

Yelp
This restaurant was decorated so beautifully for the holidays with a giant nutcracker and large ornaments. It had a very festive, cozy and upscale vibe. The service was good overall and they were packed on a Tuesday night so I'd recommend making reservations. I got the lemon spritz drink with Prosecco, lemon and limoncello and it was very lemon forward and light. The focaccia is house made and comes with ricotta and olives. The eggplant dish has a really nice charring on it that gives a smoky flavor, it is served cold and has a light vinegar taste. The waygu meatball came with some bread and tomato sauce, it was comfort food for sure! We ate most of the main course before I could snap a picture so never mind the mostly eaten food pic. I loved the burrata ravioli (comes with six pieces) and the nutty pesto sauce it is served in. The rigatoni had a touch of spice to it. The brussel sprout salad was an interesting mix with the beets and citrus dressing (brusells are fried which surprised me). Finally we got the tiramisu for dessert and it was mostly mousse with a bit of cake with the coffee dust on top. Overall really good experience and there was not a bite of food left on any of the plates!

Yelp
Adelina was within walking of the hotel and homemade pasta was sounding good with the cold rainy weather. The focaccia starter hit the spot with warm fluffy bread served with a whipped ricotta and olives. The caesar salad had tons of shredded Parmesan and homemade croutons. The pasta I ordered was a bit more spicy than anticipated, but had a nice tomato flavor. The dream of chocolate dessert definitely left me dreaming for more. It tasted like a snickers bar leveled up with salted caramel and whipped namelaka. Service was swift and looked like a nice date night type place. Many patrons were ordering some kind of smoking drink. If in downtown Detroit Adelina is a solid dinner choice.

Yelp
I came here to dinner on a double date with some friends and was blown away by how good it was. The vibes were perfect for a date night and the service was some of the best I've experienced. I want to specifically call out one server, Jonah Phillips, who went absolutely above and beyond to make our experience better. Jonah and I had gone to school together and I ran into him while he was working and he was so enthusiastic about the restaurant and walked us through all the dishes based on our preferences and even gave us a complimentary appetizer that we commented sounded really good. He also came to check up on us multiple times even though he wasn't our main server (she was also incredible!), but it really helped put a positive stamp on our night on top of all of the incredible food we tried. Will 100% be back and hope Jonah receives some recognition for how great he is with guests!

Yelp
A great addition to the Detroit food scene. Have dined here twice now and both times were phenomenal. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating. Noise level was perfect, staff was very attentive. The food here is amazing from the pasta dishes to the entrees everything is cooked to perfection. The menu is seasonal and changes. I highly recommended ordering several items and sharing. Drinks are outstanding, get the Mediterranean pearl if it's on the menu, so delicious. Can't recommend this place enough, if you're looking for a nice night out Adelina is your place.

Yelp
I've been here twice with girlfriends and it's one of my favorite Italian spots. The parking is unfortunately a little difficult, but the location is lovely in the heart of downtown Detroit. The interior on both sides of the bar is beautiful. The focaccia and baby beets are both very enjoyable for starters. For pasta, I've had and thoroughly enjoyed the rigatoni and casarecce. I would probably get the rigatoni again and again! The tiramisu dessert is one of the best I've ever had!

Yelp
This was one of my favorite new restaurants in a while. We brought my parents, who were visiting from out of town, and everyone loved the whole night. Cocktails were on point. Mine came with a delightful little smoke bubble on top, while another was smoked through a skull and was like a smoked chocolate old fashioned. Delish. My father got the lasagna, which was -incredible-. We shared the mushroom gnocchi and a bolognese dish, which were both delicious, and shared some sides for the table - potatoes and mushrooms. And a Brussels sprouts salad that was super fun. This was a 6-star spot. Incredible service, and everything was perfect. One of my favorite new restaurants without a doubt!

Yelp
Incredible! I don't know where to begin.... The focaccia with ricotta, the grilled eggplant, the Waygu meatball to start.... I had the gnochetti special with mushrooms. Also wonderful are the salmon, casarecce, rigatoni. Tiramisu for a perfect finish. Great service, delicious cocktails. Right by Campus Martius so stroll over there afterwards.

Yelp

Yelp
Fancy! Kind of a date spot but I saw people dressed up and some ladies that looked like they were going to the club... kind of a hot spot type restaurant. I'm not a big Italian guy but the food was pretty good, well made. I remember being nice and tipsy so the old fashioned I had was good as well. A lil expensive but worth a night out with a good date.

Yelp
What a nice restaurant - it has a cozy feel and is rather quiet - great for conversation. You get a little peek into the kitchen, which I like, and the bar area is pretty. Service was attentive and timely. We only had cocktails and appetizers, but everything was very good. I appreciate that they have a non-alcoholic cocktail list; they use Seedlip. Based on the starters, I'd for sure come back for dinner. The homemade foccacia was flavorful, fresh and soft, and the burrata was creamy and served with salty olives and herby oil. The sausage and peppers was very good - you can tell by the soft texture of the sausage that it's homemade. The octopus was cooked perfectly in a yummy tomato veggie sauce. the Pellegrino was served in a chilled marble holder - quite nice. Looking forward to returning.

Yelp
First pastas & tiramisu state-side since returning from Italy....and let me tell you that Adelina didn't disappoint. Emily our server was incredible. She gave great recs! We also were dining Euro style - enjoying the courses and each other's company - which i know can make folks antsy for table turn on a Saturday night so we appreciated it & tipped accordingly :) COCKTAILS: their menu is pretty extensive. also btw they have Yamazaki 18 on their whisky menu. It's a pretty penny for a pour but, if you know - you know. If you want a more theatrical table-side experience, go for the barol-old fashioned (smoked in a cool skull smoker) or the mediterrean pearl (there's a bubble involved!!) APPETIZER: *PESCADO FRITO (Pickled Hot Peppers, Scallions, Calamari Rings, Citrus Aioli) - breading was great on this as it wasn't overwhelming or too thick. Great flavors. *BABY BEETS (Mixed Beets, Goat Cheese, Fresh Horseradish, Red Wine Vinaigrette, Lavash) - classic flavors and appreciate the blend of red & golden beets. I didn't really get much of the fresh horseradish, but delish dish all around. Only complaint - more lavash please! PASTA: they serve this as a 'primi' so before the entree course as they do in Italy! All pasta is in made in house. I mean it better be if Top Chef Fabio Viviani's name is attached to this restaurant! The pasta was served PIPING hot just like in Italy. *CASARECCE (Braised Wagyu Beef Bolognese, Parmesan) - great classic red sauce. the casarecce was a really nice vehicle as all the nooks and crannies really held and captured all the yummy sauce. *RAVIOLI (Burrata Stuffed Pasta, Basil-Pistachio Pesto, Speck, Butter) - I could eat plates on plates on this. This is a must order. It truly reminded me of having savory pistachio dishes in Italy (e.g. Pistachio Mortadella Meatballs - see my Dilla review in Rome, IT!) ENTREE: neither of these were very pretty photography because brown but it was dang delicious! *VEAL MARSALA (Thin Pounded Veal Cutlets, Mushroom, Demi, Lombardo Marsala) - tender, beautifully breaded, super savory with the demi glass and 'shrooms. no notes! *FILET MIGNON (Crispy Tri-Colored Potatoes, Red Wine Demi, Broccolini) - perfectly cooked, but honestly not something I feel the need to order here at Adelina again because everything else was FIRE. DESSERT: we ordered...all of them. they also so kindly brought out a birthday dessert with a candle (ice cream!): *ADELINA'S TIRAMISU (Mascarpone Mousse, Espresso Soaked Ladyfingers, Valrhona Coffee Ganache) - this is served in a martini glass and the presentation is fantastic. The espresso soaked ladyfingers were basically perfection - soo saturated in espresso but not soggy. A must order. *DREAM OF CHOCOLATE (Moist Chocolate Cake, Valrhona Salted Caramel, Whipped Valrhona Namelaka, Valrhona Gourmet Glaze) - this dessert was a delight. Reminded me of a candy bar with the tempered chocolate exterior. The salted caramel was perfect. *ZEPPOLI (Italian Ricotta Doughnuts, Orange Zest, Sugar, Chocolate Sauce & Raspberry) - The ricotta doughnuts were airy and soo poppable. I could have probably had 36 of these 'doughnut holes'. The sauce - especially the raspberry - was fresh raspberry! And the chocolate sauce had a bit of espresso in it. We shared all the above between 3 people are we were STUFFED, so choose your adventure as you see fit my Yelp friends! FYI - the parking situation is 3 hours free at Campus Martius OR Valet Parking ($21 -- it's off Gratiot)

Yelp
First time here. Very nice atmosphere. Got here on a Tuesday around 6. Not many tables filled. Crowd starts up later for today. Mostly young hip crowd in their 30's. I always wonder how these youngsters afford places like this. Everything was delicious. I loved my spicy margarita because it was spicy! Brussels Sprouts were really good! My pasta was good. Focaccia was tasty. I was a bit disappointed in the white cloud dessert. It was more like white gelatin than mousse. Or the texture anyway. Pricey but I'm more satisfied with this place than San Marello up the street. You can see my interview for that if you look it up.

Yelp
We celebrated my brother in law's birthday tonight. I was running late because everything was closed off for events happening downtown this weekend. The unofficial detour took me right to the front door of the restaurant where the valet line was empty. I hopped out of my car and strolled in, taking a place at the bar where my family was waiting for our table to be prepared. Let me just say that this place is NICE!!! Its very classy with a grown and sexy vibe. And the staff was awesome. Olivia took excellent care of our party of six. The service was a 10/10. We had the Wagyu meatball, the Sausage and the Focaccia for the appetizers. I had the Salmon, and the Mediterranean Salad. My sister had the Gnocchetti and the Brussel Sprouts. Everyone else had the Lamb Chops, Roasted Trumpet Mushrooms and the Tri-colored Marbled Roasted Potatoes. Everything I tasted was soooo good. Even the Brussel Sprouts and I hate Brussel Sprouts. I forgot to mention the drinks. Babyyyyy the bartender was not playing. The men had Old Fashions and us ladies had the spicey Adelina-rita. Those cocktails were perfect. Hands-down one of the best overall dining experiences I have ever had. I didn't pay the bill so I don't know how much was spent but I know it was worth it. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Adelina offers a modern Italian dining experience that feels both refined and approachable. My wife had the branzino, which she thoroughly enjoyed, while I opted for the Chitarra--a fresh-made pasta dish with lobster and shrimp in a spicy arrabbiata sauce. The flavors were good, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The ambiance was understated yet elegant, with tasteful decor and a cozy atmosphere. We were seated at a nice table in the back, which added to the overall comfort of our evening. Our waitress provided outstanding service--she was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her work. She mentioned she moved from a warmer state to be part of the vibrant up and coming scene in Detroit, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. Adelina is a strong addition to the city's restaurant scene, combining great food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
10/10 experience. Phenomenal service. Everything the table ordered was delicious and top tier presentation.

Yelp
I love Italian and was excited to have a night on the town! We had a great time and service was spot on! I had the ravioli and it was delish. The artisan bread also quite yummy! We did not indulge in dessert as we had a function to attend after dinner. Helpful hint: Making a reservation online is easy, but the hostess did not handle our reservation correctly and we were charged for a no-show fee the next day. We tried to get in touch with someone via email and phone but the voicemail is full and we haven't received an email response so we have to now dispute it with our credit card company! This did not leave a good taste in my mouth...beware!

Yelp
We ended up walking out before ordering. Highly disappointed in the service. We looked around the restaurant before leaving and noticed all the other tables looked pissed. Nobody was smiling. It's a shame as the reviews on this place were fantastic. We walked down the block to Parc restaurant and they saved our night! Complete opposite experience.

Yelp
Wow what an amazing experience of delicious food! Everything from service to the food was top notch. Only downside was the ratio of price to food amount, but this was a great splurge for special date night

Yelp
Went for my husband's birthday because we always love trying new restaurants in the city and this one did not disappoint. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere was all amazing. We went with another couple so we got to try a few dishes. We had a few appetizers first- calamari, tomato & mozzarella salad, focaccia with goat cheese and recommend all. For entree couldn't decide between seafood ravioli and branzino so we split it while others had lamb chops. Ravioli was light flavorful and cooked to perfection and same for the fish. The guys loved the lamb chops and sorry I can't remember a lot about the cocktails. Definitely will try Adelina's again. There were many other dishes that looked worthy.

Nino V.

Yelp
The food was good, but portions were on the smaller end. Service was good, and everything was brought out in a timely manner. We didn't have reservations but we were able to be seated fairly quickly.

Yelp
The staff was Very Attentive and the food Was Delicious. Ambiance is awesome and perfect for Pictures I had a great experience would highly recommend.

Yelp
First impressions....not impressed. Made a reservation for the bar. Which I was told is not the bar. It's a bar area. Which they didn't have seating available. So we were sat at a large round table for 2. Not the ambiance I was hoping for. After speaking to the hostess I was told I could wait for available space or stay in the main dining room. This was with a reservation. Food and drink were good though. But not so great I would return.

Yelp
What an awesome experience!!! We were down the street seeing an art exhibit and decided to stop in for a drink. We had no idea that this was going to be such a great place! We were able to secure bar seats and we had the very best bar tender ever! She absolutely LOVED her job. She was so energetic and did a great job at recommending items. She was the most enthusiastic server! We had dinner plans but the Wagyu meatball really caught my eye. Oddly, I don't really care for meatballs that much. But for whatever reason, I really wanted this. So we got it... This was absolutely outstanding!!! The sauce was good enough to eat by itself!! The meatball was also served with ricotta cheese. This place was beautiful. Upscale, chic, and welcoming. We almost skipped our plans for the Whitney and stayed here. But don't worry!! We plan to come back for dinner.

Torrie M.

Yelp
Loved every minute!! Our server was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. There were lots of assistants coming in cleaning off tables and setting plates in between courses. The server went over the specials and told us who was on the line that evening. Started with the Burrata and focaccia! Perfect starter! We had the Caesar salad in between which was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed our entrées, my friend had the salmon and I had the house made pasta. We saved room for a simple dessert. The location is ideal, right in the heart of downtown Detroit. I remember when this was a taco restaurant and to see what they have done with the decor is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Food was very good. Three of our party ordered the Casarecce and all enjoyed it. The wagyu beef was finely shredded and tasty in the pasta sauce. White Cloud for desert was delicious and different. Our friends got the tiramisu and reported that it was quite good. We sat outside to enjoy the mild summer Saturday evening, but that was a big mistake. It's not the venue's fault, but there is nothing enjoyable about the street noise and crowd on Woodward during a weekend. Stick with inside tables. This restaurant is pretty new and they need to work on the service. Our waiter was convinced he was excellent but far from it. Our request for an entree recommendation led to firm suggestion of the $156 tomahawk steak. The $28 cassarecce was very satisfying instead. Coffee was cold and then a request for fresh warm coffee was forgotten until we reminded him as the bill was delivered. Request for pepper was forgotten until we reminded him as the meal was nearly finished. Our water ran out, which one can't see as the lukewarm water bottle was put in a warm cooling sleeve on the table which hid the fact that it was empty, it then took 10 minutes for our waiter to show so we could ask for more. As it turned out a fresh warm bottle was in a cooler 3 feet from our table. Service could be improved if our waiter spent less time chatting with his female co-worker and more time looking for tables trying to get his attention. Lastly, the bill had errors in it and then Toast app from the mandatory QR code had an awful UI that first presented our half of the table's bill and then the whole table's bill for some reason. The food was good but this place has some work to do.
google avatar

Yelp
Our server was amazing and she was very attentive to our big party. This place is so aesthetic, don't get me wrong but it was just the food that did not satisfy me and my group. We paid so much for small servings and we didn't like the food quality at all. The rigatoni was so hard and so was the gnochetti. We left feeling hungry and unsatisfied with what we just spent $300 on.

Yelp
I can not say enough good things about this place! The food was exquisite. We tried probably almost everything on the menu. I started with the espresso martini which was one of the best Ive had. The focaccia was delicious, the wagu meatball was tender and melted in your mouth. I personally got the lamb chops and OMG, juicy, flavorful, tender, delicious. And the dessert my goodness. The ambiance was really nice, the chairs are super comfortable. The biggest shout out was to our waiter Brian, he was amazing! He took such great care of us and answered our 1000 questions with a smile on his face. Thank you, Brian for a great experience!

Yelp
So good I had to come twice. We tried to get reservations for my birthday and unfortunately they were booked to capacity and I can see why. Fortunately, a couple of weeks later we were able to get in. We were a little late due to the street closures for the Draft. The staff was very warm and understanding. The ambience is sexy! I mean, Adelina is a VIBE! We started with a fee cocktails and the espresso old fashion is delicious. We had the frito misto and the grilled octopus as starters. Delicious! We shared 2 pasta dishes, they were filling and not your ordinary pastas. Everything is made in house and the sausage is everything! I do not like tiramisu. I have texture issues , but some friends sent one to the table and I tried it and then ate the entire dish!

Yelp
Adelina is Detroits newest Mediterranean/Italian fusion quisine spot and let me tell you, the chefs are doing it RIGHT!! I was able to attend their soft opening....From the moment I walked in to the last goodbye , the service was immaculate. The flavors of the dishes are out of this world, the vibes are luxurious & the service left me impressed. The chefs personally came out to check on your meals & ask if there's anything they could've done better. My answer : no, everything was perfect. Ambiance in the restaurant is perfect for intimate date night, girls night out or a celebration of any kind! The selection of dishes favored my tastebuds & the portions/prices fit the menu perfectly in my opinion. I cannot wait to come back & make my way through the rest of the flavors on this menu. Make sure to check out Adelina as soon as possible, you don't want to miss this.

Yelp
My favorite dinner spot in Detroit! I've been here twice and both times were amazing. The drinks are so good and the appetizers don't disappoint. The pastas are amazing and the tiramisu is a must try! Can't wait till our next reservation!

Yelp
Awesome service and good! We sat at the bar, Tony was a sweetheart! Drinks are fabulous, we had the tuna and mushrooms. This place is upscale and has high- end ambiance. We will be back! Wonderful addition to Detroit!

Yelp
Excellent addition to the Detroit food scene! Beautiful ambiance and delicious food. We shared a few starters since it was our first visit and loved everything. Our server was also wonderful. I will definitely be back to try more.

Yelp
Wow. One of the best dinners I've had in Detroit. Every dish was perfectly cooked and delicious. I couldn't be happier with not only the food but the staff that took their time to give us their recommendations and make sure we were well taken care of. It doesn't hurt that the restaurant was nice to look at as well. Highly recommend, don't miss out.

Yelp
It's a great place to go for dinner. The waitress was terrific, food was superb and it's got a great atmosphere as well. If we lived closer, we would go there regularly.!!

Yelp
Okay, Food 10/10. I'm so impressed. Everything was a hit. Not one single complaint about the food. The mediterranean salad was so fresh and crisp. All pastas were delicious, specifically the baked lasagna. Frito (calamari) is gluten free which was a huge plus. SO flavorful and well prepared. Service was excellent from start to finish. Our servers were attentive and took very good care of us. They had great recommendations and made sure we had clean silverware and plates in between every dish which I personally loved. Restaurant overall is a vibe, great music and a lovely spot to go out. Definitely a GREAT addition to Detroit. Good job Adelina

Yelp
Adelina was jamming on Saturday. What a lively venue with good energy. This place is perfect for a night out with friends or even date night. We started with the charcuterie board which had a nice selection of pickled vegetables, sliced Italian meats and cheeses. The only complaint was that our server did not explain what the cheeses or meats were but they still tasted good! My girlfriends and I all had three different pasta dishes; all were unique and delicious. We didn't have room for dessert, but the tiramisu at the table next to us looked amazing.

Yelp
I was able to dine here during their soft opening. I believe they are opening March 21st. All I can say is wow . The restaurant is beautiful. Very classy and warm. The staff aims to please and I could see the manager Alex going around and checking in with tables and to make sure everything was perfect. Very nice guy! The food was phenomenal. I started with the house made focaccia and seared tuna. The warm bread and whipped ricotta was scrumptious and the tuna tasted light and clean. Seared to perfection. For dinner I had the Casarecce and Lasagnette. I have never seen Lasagna prepared this way and it was out of this world yummy! I wanted to order another one but I had to save room for dessert. The wagyu bolognese sauce in the Casarecce was very flavorful. You can tell these Italian dishes are made with top notch ingredients. I kept seeing some very cool cocktails heading to other tables so I decided to imbibe myself with one. Unfortunately I don't remember the name but I'm glad I got video of it. So cool and honestly a cocktail I won't ever forget. I wanted another one but decided to get dessert instead and I'm so glad I did. The White cloud was excellent. So pretty! I usually share but I ended up eating it all myself so that should tell you something. I highly recommend coming here. It was a culinary delight and a chic experience. I will be back for sure because there are so many other menu items I would love to try.

Yelp
Celebrated our anniversary- a beautiful restaurant with really amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and made our evening a delight. Food was delicious. Waygu meatball appetizer ... amazing! Had the lamb shank and ravioli - all was really wonderful. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Well it looks great and the service is above average. The food is decent. The lamb chops were tender and flavorful the meatball is worth it but I've had better. The brussel sprouts very nice. The wine list looked acceptable but their drinks left a bit to be desired. It's an energetic dark spot that feels like a spot every big city should have. More creativity and bolder flavors from the kitchen would make it standout instead of just blending in. Go at least once it's a place to have in your roster just in case.

Yelp
Food was sooooo tasty but it was lukewarm which was a bit disappointing. Our server was friendly but i felt she would forget about us a little bit. I wanted to order a birthday dessert for a friend and our server never came back to check on us and it was too late at that point since the restaurant was close to closing. It is very dark in here so it has a cool edgy vibe to it.

Yelp
Food: Spritz: was solid and well balanced. Basil leaf added a nice touch, but the presentation lack imagination and a refined touch. 6.5/10 Wagyu Bolognese: Very deep rich sauce, strong meaty flavor and nice texture. Lacked a touch of acidity and umami overall needed heavier tomato influence. Pasta choice was poor and obviously store bought, brought down the dish. 6/10 Hamachi: Excellently balanced, the blood oranges were a really nice touch and made the flavor pop. Complimented the hamachi well. Fresh fish, pretty presentation. 8.5/10 Lamb Chops: Rudimentary imagination on the presentation, very undersized lamb chops and severely overpriced. Overcooked and lacked any semblance of flavor or texture. Potato's were crispy and well flavored. Asparagus was just there. 4/10 Stracciatella: Medium rich sauce with a very nice balanced flavor. Pretty presentation with the melted cheese on top. Pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and good quality, dish lacked a bit of salt overall. 7/10 Service: Waitress was obviously new but very kind and sweet. Inexperience showed. 6/10 Ambiance: Brilliantly decorated, window placement was awkward and the way the sunlight didn't match the tone and lighting of the rest of the room. Bar was gorgeous and so were the decor choices. 8.5/10

Yelp
Came here for dinner for the first time, with 3 others. We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. We ordered some drinks and apps. We got the sausage and peppers, bread, Brussel sprout salad, and the calamari. The apps were good so it was a strong start. Then we ordered our meals, those took quite a long time to come out. Once the food came out my steak which I ordered med rare was rare rare. I took a bite and it was still cold in the middle. Really disappointed with this place. I took the steak with me cuz I can cook it at home as leftovers but really wanted to enjoy the meal there. Likely won't be back

Yelp
Everything is made in house from scratch. I recommend sharing a bunch of dishes especially the paccheri pasta that was our favorite.

Yelp
Easy reservation process online that requires a deposit. We were immediately seated though our husbands were still parking which is always a plus to me. Appetizer shared with the hubby of calamari and it was delicious. The dipping sauce took it over the top. Hubby had a spicy margarita and I had an espresso old fashioned made with anejo tequila. Both drinks were fantastic!! For dinner we had the branzino and the wagyu pasta and both were so incredibly delicious. The service was great as well. Two managers stopped by the table and even took pictures for us.
