Definitely not the standard Italian fare you expect to find in a mall. I've dined here several times, and the pasta dishes have consistently impressed me with their freshness and quality. Highly recommend trying the Penne Rossa and Tagliatelle ai Funghi - both were exceptional choices for a vegetarian like myself. The freshly baked bread served is perfect for dipping in olive oil while you wait for your appetizers and main courses to arrive. The service here is top-notch. I've also enjoyed lunch at the bar during busy hours; it's an excellent spot to people-watch the bustling crowds of the Palisades as they shop.

It is currently my new favorite restaurant. I've been 6 out 7 times and have not been disappointed with the food. Love the location and the atmosphere. My only advice would be don't go there at 2pm right before the kitchen closes for the evening prep. They'll rush you. But other than that... Amazing food.

Love this place! The vibe is fantastic. Higher class but a bit older crowd. You will find a lot of young couples there too at night. They have seating indoors and outdoors and if the weather is nice, outdoors is beautiful! We had the Octopus Salad and The Fillet steak! Both were amazing and highly recommend. The cocktails are great here too!

This is a tale of two experiences. Last week we took a friend from Germany and we brought an expensive bottle of wine. The regional manager assisted with the wine. He was super friendly. We had an exceptional time. Tonight we went with local friends. Completely different experience. We ordered wines by the glass. The poor was less than 4 ounces. They really should advertise the 4 oz or less pour. Most people think that a standard restaurant pour is 6 oz. Next time I will have them measure the pour, or I will bring my own bottle. The service was less than perfect, and my potatoes were cold and needed to be replaced. My wife and I shared a Caprese salad and they took 5 minutes to bring me a second plate. See pictures. How hard would it have been to split it for us in the kitchen. After all of the above the kitchen is great. Two different nights and two wildly different experiences. Pictures from both nights. Angelini's Ristorante in Pacific Palisades is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves Italian cuisine. My husband and I recently moved to the area and have been thoroughly enjoying exploring the local restaurant scene. We were fortunate to discover Angelini's, conveniently located in Palisades Village, within walking distance from our home. The staff at Angelini's is exceptional, particularly Patrick and Jaxon, who always welcome us with a smile and go above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience is enjoyable. They even provide a high chair for our 1-year-old son, making it easy for us to dine as a family. We tried the Prosciutto & Burrata antipasti, which was made with San Daniele 24-month aged prosciutto and Burrata cheese. The combination of flavors was exquisite, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, we shared two dishes. The first was the Tagliolini al Limone, made with homemade tagliolini, lemon, cream, and Parmigiano Reggiano. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the lemon cream sauce was light and refreshing. The second dish we shared was the Lasagna Verde, the "Nonna Elvira." This homemade spinach pasta dish was served with beef and pork ragù, béchamel, and Parmigiano. The flavors were rich and comforting, and we savored every bite. We also tried the Angelini cocktail with Aperol, Ferrari Brut, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and Orange Bitters. It was the perfect complement to our meal. Overall, our experience at Angelini's was fantastic, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience.

Great service. Great food. Priced a little crazy, but I guess it’s to be expected in the location. Lasagna and steak were phenomenal. As was the salad. Martinis were beautiful. Although they really should have blue cheese for the olives.

This is a perfect place to come on a date or have dinner with close friends and family. The staff is friendly, and the food and drinks are excellent. I had Lasagna, Insalata Angelini, truffle pasta, and Italian Bread Pudding. Regarding the drinks, the Angelini and the Sotol Gimlet are a must-order.

This is the third time we have been here and the food and desserts are superb. This time we split a Bronzino and it came completely covered in salt. They had to break away the salt to get to the fish which was incredibly moist. They split the dinner between us and each of us head mashed potatoes, spinach and the Bronzino. As a plus we got to sit next to Jane Seymour, who is also here having dinner . The restaurant is in Pacific Palisades in the downtown area, which has been completely remodeled by Caruso and has become its own little village within a village Highly recommend a trip out to the Palisades to visit this restaurant. As with all reviews, if I'm going to be picky, the service could be a little better. The restaurant is very busy and sometimes you have to make yourself heard to be served.

Food is good but service is rude like you cannot believe it. They seated us outside in a windy weather that was 48 degrees. There were no heater around the table. We asked 3 times for heater , managers answer: heater is for every one! Then they brought blankets ! I had been here before but did not experience this indifference anywhere in this class of restaurant. 40 minutes after they seated us and after complaining 3 times, they gave us a heater. I am sorry if we are going to pay about 700 bucks for 6 people we do not need to complain and beg for a heater!

Went once, will never return. To start with our waiter seemed like we were keeping him from something more interesting. He didn't even bother telling us the specials. The food was abominable. I ordered salmon and mashed potatoes. I received the driest piece of salmon and two ice cream size scoops of cold, flavorless mashed potatoes. My husband had ravioli that was just edible. We shared a Caesar salad that was flavorless and the lettuce was brown. The ambience does nothing for me personally-it's kind of a weird layout unless you're seated outside. This isn't just an ok restaurant in a nice area-it's just plain awful and expensive to boot. With so many good restaurants out there don't waste your time or money here! Once again a failed restaurant in the palisades.

Angelini is one of my favorite places to be as a barfly! We've killed afternoons people watching here. I enjoy the bar area most with its curved, elevated section. It's comfortable with the pooch. We have small dishes here and there, not a full meal. I'm not one to regularly dine on pasta but everything we've sampled has been enjoyable. I also appreciate the service here. They're attentive and it gives a traditional vibe in the sense of how Italian dining establishments have traditionally operated. I appreciate it...

The location is incredible. The service is excellent. It could get hot if the umbrellas are not set correctly. The food was delicious as well. However, it is EXPENSIVE. The four of us paid about $350 for lunch. Yes, I said lunch and not dinner. We did have a bottle of wine , but still the price is too high. We didn't even get coffee and dessert, because we wanted to try the ice cream place around the corner. That said if you walk around a bit there is another Italian restaurant that one can try. There are other eateries as well.

First thing is service! Very classy and upscale! They recently opened this Italian restaurant in this great small shopping center. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. Very well-designed bar and we did enjoyed our Sunday afternoon in their patio. The appetizer is very unique and tasteful. I would totally recommend the Octopus dish

We LOVE this restaurant! They have an excellent vibe, great indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. The service is great, all the waiters are so nice. They have an excellent menu. Everything we've tried is so fresh and good.

Great ambiance at the bar area. My husband and I stopped by for drinks after walking around the village on this beautiful Monday afternoon after hurricane Hillary. We were greeted right away and were told to take a seat at the bar for drinks cause the kitchen was closed til 5pm. So that's what we did, we ordered some drinks and a bruschetta that was delicious. I ordered gin and tonic which the bartender recommended and he chose the ingredients based on my taste. He curated a delicious and pretty drink for me which I enjoyed til the last sip. Great service, great ambiance, great drinks. We have to come back and have dinner here soon. I'm sure we will love it.

I am not quite sure what the fuss is. It's a relatively tasty Italian restaurant. Our waiter was scattered and sweet and speaking in 3 languages, he kept calling my single friends "Madam" and "Seniora" while calling me, the only married one, "Madmoiselle". It was funny but had I been them, I might have been a little off put, however he was pleasant. The host was not super welcoming, but it was packed. Food, well, mine was a lobster pasta, it was quite okay, I think maybe I had a teaspoon of lobster. The mushroom pasta was also just okay, really lacked flavor and umami. The burrata persimmon salad was also just okay, the burrata was quite nice but the persimmons were rock hard, which for those types of persimmons is not unusual, but they lacked flavor. The desserts were tasty, but I do not recommend the chocolate cake. Overall, I think it would be a good date restaurant, the branzino looked excellent, and the gin cocktail menu looked amazing. Of course there were the sprinkling of celebrities but that is pretty normal in the area. I liked the restaurant, the vibe is nice I would go back, but again, not sure what the fuss is.

I had an amazing time with my friend at this restaurant. We were seated at a corner table, which made the noise level much lower. For starters, we ordered the Zuppa Del Giorno. It was a simple dish but tasted incredibly delicious. The olive oil on top added a delightful flavor. As for the main course, we decided to share the Branzino. It was a great dish with a perfect balance of simplicity and deliciousness. The mashed potato that accompanied it was absolutely amazing. Although we wished the portion of mashed potato was larger, especially since we were sharing the plate, the size of the fish was generous and definitely enough for the both of us. The side dish of spinach, however, was a bit underwhelming. It didn't impress us much. Service was nice too although it might feel that they are rushing you. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to return to try other items on their menu.

I never like to give a mediocre review unless it's will earned. So it's with a bit of sorrow because I really wanted to like it and I live walking distance. But after trying Angelini in the Palisades 3 different times I've not had a good experience. Sure the staff is fine no issues ever and the drinks form the full bar are good. But it's the food always the food, for the prices on the menu the food should be excellent all the time and for me and my friends it hasn't been. Now I've been to Beverly Hills and it was good but something got lost in the translation to the Palisades restaurant. I won't go into too much detail, but what I will mention is one of the worst steaks I ever had was from here. So let's be clear, I'm not saying don't try Angelini, just my experiences haven't been great.

The food is always excellent--we love it! My kids especially enjoy the penne Rosa (they make it without the spice for them). All the pastas, fish, and veal chops are outstanding. Definitely the best-tasting restaurant in the area!

If you're coming here expecting the same level of inspired food and excellent service at Angelini Osteria (like we did) you will be extremely disappointed. If you're coming here to enjoy expensive, but decent food with hohum service, you'll be fine.

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner (12/22/2022). The food was good, and so was the ambience. The service was ok. Is the price justifiable, though? Not at all. I had the Linguini Ricci di Mare (sea urchin pasta) as my entrée. It was good, but it did not blow me away or anything. I understand they use fresh pasta and sea urchin is expensive, but $40 for a pasta dish is steep. We shared arugula salad. See my photo and judge for yourself. Based on the clientele, I assume that these people are well traveled and have dined at many high-end restaurants. What I don't understand is that why these well-travelled and well-done people keep coming back here. For us, this is one of restaurants within walking distance. Many people come here from out of town. Why? We were a party of four and just walked up to them on a Sunday evening after a hike. First time. Food was very tasty and Good. Service was very good, and attentive. They kept filling our water glasses. Cocktails were good, specially their Gin menu. Ambiance was nice, although they allowed a huge dog, that came running to our table. Huge No No around my wife. Plenty of parking around. A little on the pricey side, otherwise 5 would have been achieved.

The food was mediocre at best. However, the service was horrible. Despite the restaurant being quiet... They made several mistakes with our simple order. In fact, they forgot one of our main plates that arrived nearly 40mins late. Once we brought it to their attention, they blew us off and were very rude. Our server was Veronika. There are better places to eat that are much more polite and affordable.

Terrible customer service. Had an issue with a rude waiter price checking us for every order and brought the issue up to manager and the manager laughed in our face and was very rude about the whole situation. Terrible staff

I was a bit worried coming here based on some negative reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. From the servers to the bar tender to the host Josh. We even got seated a bit early. Lots to choose from! Branzino was very popular, we had the Tagliatelle Bolognese, soup of the day, prosciutto with melon. Everything was delicious!

Amazing homemade fresh pasta that exceeded my expectations! Every pasta dish was wonderful and rich. The appetizers were all great as well and felt like a great standalone dish rather than an afterthought which happens at many restaurants. The staff was great and the restaurant itself was nice. The only downside to the meal was that the gluten free pasta (although grateful that they had a GF option) was unfortunately extremely undercooked and bordered inedible. Especially considering how excellent the rest of the menu items were, it was a huge bummer to have this dish fall short the way that it did.

We ate there on a Sunday night when a lot of other places were packed. We didn't plan to go there exactly, but the menu looked good and the ambiance looked nice - and we were tired of looking around! Sadly we were moderately disappointed, particularly at this price point. We started with an Ahi crudo with pistachios. This was very good, the fish was fresh, the pistachios very flavorful. We just got back from Sicily, so this was ringing some nice bells. However, the bread that they used was not unlike styrofoam. Tasteless. The bread they served for olive oil/balsamic was pretty good , but they didn't use that. Three small pieces (6 bites), expensive, bland bread. Eggplant parmigiano arrived - a huge mound. Very tomato, dark rich sauce. The eggplant was creamy but without significant flavor. We had the same dish in Naples and it had a wonderful smoky flavor as the eggplant was grilled prior to baking. So, good portion, not bad, not great. Seafood risotto was pretty good. Had a nice fresh seafood flavor (probably from stock) and bits of this and that which were nicely cooked. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp. The rice didn't make me want to write home. Tagliolini (I think) with lobster. Very heavy tomato sauce, thick, lots of onion and that was about it flavor wise. I had onion taste in my mouth for another hour. There were a few small pieces of lobster, nicely cooked but the tomato/onion overpowered everything. The pasta was not properly cooked. It was very, very dense. It is supposed to be "house-made" which may mean "fresh" as I assume they do not make and then dry their own pasta. But it did not have any pillowey quality. Overall a dense, heavy dish that did not complement the lobster. A dud, in other words. The plates had little to no garnishing. There was nothing done to make the plates beautiful or memorable. Service was pleasant although the waiter did not come by to ask about our entrees - so I didn't have a chance to mention the tagliolini. We did not stick around for dessert. I doubt that anything they served would be better than the chocolate and mango we had at home. For $14 I wasn't interested in finding out. We had sparkling water, maybe 350-500 mls, small in other words for $8. San Benedetto, nothing special. Pretentious IMHO. Total without tip (or alcohol) was $155.49 (plus parking). An OK meal, OK ambiance, overpriced. I wouldn't go back.

This place has a fantastic ambiance and the service was top-notch. The host was incredibly accommodating and really made us feel welcome. The food was delicious too. Our server gave us excellent recommendations for both appetizers and entrees. The branzino was cooked to absolute perfection. The bar area is lively and perfect for people-watching. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the area. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out!

So the appetizers salads soup burrata tuna tartare were good. Chicken entree dry and tasteless. Lobster pasta tasteless. Servings so small 2 people had to order more food. Dessert almond flour chocolate cake was dry and tasteless. Really expensive!!!

Consistent quality from the kitchen. Amusing wait staff. Excellent busing. Ball busting Maitre D who possibly suffers from roid rage. Nonetheless delicious.

Excited to try the new Italian restaurant in the neighborhood- i arrived at 5 pm without a reservation and was seated right away at the outdoor bar. Ordered the Angelini and a Negroni. The prosciutto and burrata was excellent. The bread was lightly toasted and delicious. Service was excellent - we had 2 servers and they were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend Angelini / a great addition to the Palisades Village!

The best thing you can say about this restaurant is the people watching. The drinks were "light," bread was stale, the portions were small, the food was marginal, and the price was ridiculously outrageously high.The service was OK, the servers were nice. I really love this restaurant. Our waiter had a very good sense of humor and he was a very caring server. As for the food, it was really good. I got the bowl and a's and it was so good! The meat was juicy and the sauce was freshly made and the pasta was stringy. The restaurant was like a fancy bar and outdoor eating area. I totally recommend!

I have dined at Angelinis restaurant over a dozen times now. I can always count on some of the finest and best tasting authentic food and service! Their pistachio and white bean avocado house salad, southern Italian authentic lasagne, and salt encrusted Bronzino is always my go-to! I highly recommend this place. Very good Italian restaurant. Our waiter Zach took goof care of us, and all the staff was attentive and helpful. Nice atmosphere - The outdoor patio was tastefully closed off against the cold and wet night air, with outdoor heaters on but not stuffy. Tables were not overly crowded together. The best dish of the night was their signature salad, Insalata Angelini: a chopped salad with greens, cannellini beans, avocado, cucumber, toasted pistachios, parmigiano, and a delicious dressing - lightly dressed. Generous portion for two to share as a first course. The seafood risotto was very nice but not a wow. The Lasagna Verde "Nonna Elvira" also very good but not the best lasagne in town. They have a customizable gin and tonic menu, and an extensive bar with classic cocktails. The cocktails were some of the best we have had in a long time!

Pasta here is amazing but the portions are small. The appetizers are all very similar and I wish there was more choice. The drink had a huge ice cube with barely any liquor- for that 4/5 stars

I don't write many reviews. Angelini is my favorite restaurant! Coming here is a treat! I love everything here it's all sooo good! The staff is super nice! I love the atmosphere! You have to order the following: Tartare di tonno, insalata di polipo, insalata di Aragosta, seafood risotto, lasagna verde, sea urchin pasta, tagliatelle bolognese, branzino, tiramisu, panna cotta and Italian bread pudding. The cocktails are amazing and wide variety of wines.

The server was super nice! The food was good, loved the patio. Great local spot for dinner. I had the salt crushed branzino it was great.

5 times asking several people for more bread before it was delivered 3 times asking for another glass of wine before it was delivered Shared Caesar Salad good but embarressingly puny portion and quite expensive 3 out of four meals were quite blah (Bramzino and Dover Sole, one was very good: Tagliatelle with Mushrooms Told waiter that it was one of the patrons birthday - not even a cookie.... At $164 a couple (for 4 people ) with one split appetizer and one shared main dish... Very disappointing; have been there several times - no more

My girlfriend and I walked by this resturant at the Palisades Village around lunch hour and unfortunately we were disappointed with the meal and service. For service, the bus-boy was more of a waiter than the actual waiter we believe we had. I heard another waiter give out the specials to another table while our waiter just came up to us for the first time and asked if we were ready to order, took our order, and then we didn't see him till he came and grabbed our check. For food, we had 2 salads with chicken added in but the chicken was under-cooked and the salad's were literally just lettuce. For a salad that was $28, really was not worth the price. Sadly disappointed as the restaurant looks very nice from the outside and we had high hopes. I am not sure if we will be going back.

Spending the summer in Pacific Palisades and had a great experience at this gem of a restaurant in Palisades Village. If you are eating outside like we did, it is a great place to people watch and if you are into Hollywood stars, good chance you'll see one. I'm not a fan of the Draycott, had a grouchy front end person once and never went back. Was thrilled when Angelini's opened and they are welcoming and usually packed. I ordered the pasta with lemon and it was very good and my sister raved about the gnocchi. Had enough wine that I spent some serious money at the shops afterwards. Service was top notch and warm, and we loved the outside ambiance.

We took our favorite friend to a favorite restaurant in the palisades. We took the reservation available and were seated promptly at a table under their tent.. the water and drinks were never refilled, we couldn't decide if the bread was stale or been wewatmed or left out,the food was fine It started to rain, we were splattered with water runoff and puddles at our feet More accommodation was made to the dogs in the restaurant. Although it was unprecedented rain, some acknowledgment of a customers discomfort is part of good service and this restaurant had none. Too snooty for me

We tried giving this location another try but the same inconsistencies have continued each time. The staff never seem to be enjoying their time while working. There was just an underlying sense of rudeness. Simple questions about the menu, utensils, and ice water were all received with annoyance as if those aren't common questions. The ice water was never given and there wasn't a kids menu so we had to go across the way and order something for my younger brother. While our food was already ordered from this location we were waiting for our food to be ready and the staff came up to my younger brother, pointed at his food making him uncomfortable saying he cannot eat the food here. You can tell a lot about people on how they interact with children. When we asked the manager what we could do as we have been waiting for the food that we ordered their response was "I'm not sure but you can't have that food here". After looking at more reviews on yelp we are not surprised. To the nice waitress thank you for attempting to help our experience but to the waiter and manager we will not be returning. Hoping for the best of any other customers.

I've been 2 or 3 times now. The bar is in a great setting, outdoors. Go at sunset time. However, be prepared to pay an insane amount for a small glass of wine. Small amount in a large glass I might add. Bartender complained I asked him for the check when he was obviously busy (!) I have eaten here a few months ago and was underwhelmed but I must say, they are always busy so looks like they have a good loyal crowd or there just aren't enough choices in the village in the Palisades!

I was spooked by the reviews and avoided this spot for months, in part because of how much I love the original location. I was invited here recently and went this past week and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if they hired a new manager or finally got it together but the entire experience was excellent. We had a 3 hour dinner and was not rushed at all. Drinks came right away. Courses came out on time. Everything was cooked as requested including a rib eye sliced at a perfect medium rare. A full bar at this location is a very nice addition. Loved it and will be back.

Giving it a 4 because of price but primarily small pasta portions. Came to this location for the first time this past weekend for dinner. I've been to the original on Beverly blvd many times and the portions are bigger and it's more worth the price. However, the food is great. The truffle pasta was not worth the price at all I've had a black truffle pasta elsewhere with more truffles. The tuna tartare appetizer was great very fresh. I liked the tricolore salad. The brioche bread pudding with butterscotch sauce was amazing and it was recommended by the waitress over the tiramisu. Apparently Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest nights and you need reservations. I probably would only come back if I'm in the area.

The original Angelini Osteria was one of the hottest and most trendy Italian restaurants when it opened 20 years ago. So I was excited to try this new spot and was not disappointed. Our group sat at the bar and shared some wonderful dishes-- including great prosciutto with burrata, an excellent octopus appetizer, a simple but fantastic tagliatelle with lemon, and perfectly prepared, very tender chicken. Our bartender made a mean Negroni, too and the wines by the glass were all first rate. The layout is half inside half outside --festive and bustling with good energy. Do get a reservation as this is definitely popular with the locals.

Had an very early evening dinner for four on a Wednesday night. Food and ambiance were wonderful; service / waiter were not. We were rushed thru out the meal and felt pressure to order and leave. Very uncomfortable. In addition, when telling us the specials of the night we asked him to speak more slowly and a bit louder. His accent was difficult for all 4 of us . , Never really did 'get' what the choices were on the specials so just ordered off the printed menu. Disappointed as our waiter tainted what was supposed to be celebratory night.

I'm a big fan of Angelini Osteria and can't think of a time I haven't left that restaurant incredibly pleased with the experience I just had, so naturally I was eager to try their sister restaurant in the palisades. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't come close to its older sister. My wife and I shared the Caesar salad, the mussels and clams, the taglioline Al limon, and the Dover sol. With the exception of the Caesar, which was quite good, the rest of the food didn't hit the mark. Consistent problems with getting our food out hot, in fact, upon requesting warm bread for our mussel and clam broth, we were just plainly brought out break that was charred yet cold. Aside from the temperature problems, the Dover sol was just not good. The flavor wasn't good, it was served cold, the texture wasn't good, and I'm quite certain that the fish was frozen which is pretty disappointing for a 60 dollar dish. Aside from that, the service wasn't great either. My wife and I came in toward the end of the night but nothing can kill your vibe quite like a waiter who seems itching to leave. He didn't quite take advantage when we asked him to recommend dishes, saying only that most people like different things, and his one response when we told him how displeased we were with the fish was inquiring whether we have a dog or cat we'd like to give the leftovers too. Not a great experience, I hope they can turn it around.

Homemade pasta was my highlight- the food is definitely delicious. The atmosphere is a little scene-y/obnoxious but the staff (particularly bus boys, etc) work hard to make a pleasant dining experience

Some local friends took us to this spot, it's one of their favorites, and it did not disappoint! Great food, great service, options to sit indoors or out. I WOULD DEFINATELY VISIT AGAIN!
