"Expect traditional coney fare, but with a Honduran twist. This spot in Ypsilanti was launched by Mexican owners, Irene Serrano and Miguel Martinez in 2015 with plans to also incorporate Mexican dishes. There was a taqueria already established nearby and as part of the couple’s lease, were prevented from leaning into that genre. With the help of a close friend from Honduras, Antonio’s has instead become among just a small number of restaurants that offer Central American specialties like pupusas, enchilada catracha, and fried chicken topped with cabbage slaw and Honduran mustard over tajadas (fried green bananas)." - Serena Maria Daniels

"Antonio’s Coney Island occupies a small space in an Ypsilanti shopping plaza and serves up a great version of the iconic Detroit hot dog topped with chili, onions, and yellow mustard. That’s because the main attractions include pupusas — typical of Honduras and El Salvador — bajadas (fried green plantains), and other Central American and Mexican favorites. Owners Irene Serrano and Miguel Martinez opened Antonio’s in early 2015 as a regular Coney Island with plans to have specials featuring food from their native Mexico. However a clause in their lease prevented the couple from serving strictly Mexican food as there was already a taqueria in the same strip mall. Serrano’s best friend, who hails from Honduras, convinced Serrano and Martinez to try serving Central American food as there were many locals from the region but very few restaurants to cater to them. The friend shared family recipes and the rest is history. With a general lack of Central American eateries in southeast Michigan, many diners in the region may be unfamiliar with the nuances of the food that Antonio’s serves. The Honduran enchilada catracha, for example, is unlike the Mexican enchilada, which is comprised of a rolled corn tortilla stuffed with meat, beans, and/or cheese, and dipped in either a red or green salsa. Instead, the Honduran version is more like a tostada with a flat, crispy tortilla base topped with meat, Honduran cabbage slaw, tomato, avocado, boiled egg, and parmesan cheese. 'I have customers from Guatemala, El Salvador, Columbia…all the tropical countries,' says Serrano. 'A customer from Trinidad and Tobago said our food reminds them of their mother’s and grandmother’s food.' As for those unfamiliar with the region’s food? Serrano adds, 'At first people may think it’s weird because they don’t know. But they see the fried chicken and try it the next time they’re here. Then next time, they try something else.' That fried chicken is a very popular dish at Antonio’s — a fried leg quarter topped with cabbage slaw and Honduran mustard over tajadas (fried green bananas). Another beloved dish is the baleada — a flour tortilla with beans, cheese, cream, scrambled eggs, and avocado — which Serrano describes as a perfect breakfast or snack. Shortly after opening, Serrano and Martinez received their first piece of positive press that lauded Antonio’s for providing diners with a taste of home. But the couple was still new in the industry and had much to learn. 'When we started we didn’t think that people [would] show... We weren’t ready, but now we’re strong,' says Serrano. 'I cook with the heart. People say to cook with your brain and cook to make money. No, I cook the way I like to eat.'" - John Reyes

Google
The bomb. So good. I lived in Venezuela for a couple of years and although they specialize in Honduran specialties the food reminded me of coastal Venezuela and was incredibly delicious. Large portions. Very reasonable prices. Friendly service. Family atmosphere. Fish tacos were amazing. Churrasquitos, plantains, flan and filled churros were all amazing. Best flan I’ve had in a long time. Please go and enjoy something different. So many great options on the menu and daily specials. We will go back.

Google
The food is amazing, but the prices are not correct on the menu. Cornbeef hash 14.00 instead of 11.00. both of us had different meals, not correct in prices. We went for breakfast, we basically paid 50.00. so just be prepared. We will go back, but not often now. Sadly. We have to know the correct prices. Be warned on money when u go.

Google
A true hidden gem in Ypsi / A2. Latin American fare from Honduras primarily. Costa Rica and other locales also featured. We love the Gallo Pinto (Costa Rica), Baleadas, Enchiladas Hondureñas, and more. They have recently expanded too in order to offer more dining space, as the only drawback was the limited seating. Don’t let the “Coney Island” in the name fool you - this isn’t your ordinary spot for hotdogs. A true treat every time we go in.

Google
Stopped in before I had to check myself into the emergency room at Trinity Ann arbor. I'm so happy I stopped here. I got the Honduran Super Baleada and a coffee horchata. It was so good. I liked the atmosphere, when you walk in to the right they have some beautiful plants and many things on the wall from Honduras very cool definitely going to stop here again!

My boyfriend and I greatly enjoyed our #1 Honduran breakfasts! I would like to come back and try more of their Central American dishes

Antonio’s Coney Island is a must-try for anyone looking for fresh South American-inspired cuisine. The food is incredibly flavorful, and every dish is prepared with care. The service is quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot if you’re in a hurry but still want a quality meal. Parking is ample, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot. Plus, the location has plenty of other food options nearby, making it a great area to explore if you’re feeling adventurous. Whether you’re craving something traditional or looking to try something new, Antonio’s should be on your list!

Google
Great food, friendly staff and good prices. I deducted a star because service was a bit slow and one item ordered never came and they were too busy to get it to me before I was done with the meal. The menu items are unique for a Coney with a lot of Central American dishes I had never heard of before but they looked really good and had great prices. I got a ham and cheese omlette which was very good and also had some fries, also good. I look forward to returning and being able to upgrade my review to 5 stars assuming the service is a bit quicker.

Google
Stopped in for a late breakfast. Seated immediately and waited on within 2 minutes. Coffee was strong and smooth. Food came out quickly and was delicious! I had the breakfast quesadilla. My husband had the California omelette. The only complaint I’d make is that the hash browns weren’t very crispy and were mostly flavourless. On the other hand, the hot sauce was amazing.

Yelp
Homemade Honduran food! Some of the best Latin food in the area. Servers are always prompt and attentive! Cozy booths and cute atmosphere! I have loved everything I've ever ordered here. Super authentic and fresh! Worth a visit if you've never been

Moody A.

Yelp
Small non-traditional Coney Island restaurant specializing in Latin American cuisine specifically from Honduras. The staff and the food was simply amazing. The restaurant is small, but vibrant. we enjoyed the various Honduras dishes and sides I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Michael T.

Yelp
What a find. Great place for flavorful food must try the fried chicken with plantains.

John R.

Yelp
Do they really believe that customers don't know they're serving canned soup with a bit of chicken and tortilla pieces on top?! Disgusting.

Andrey T.

Yelp
An absolutely fantastic breakfast place. It's in an unassuming strip mall and is labeled a Coney Island, but don't let that dissuade you. It is a clean, friendly place, that served me one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever eaten. This is a Honduran restaurant that also serves Mexican food, along with other stuff. Inside looks very authentic. Believe my server is an owner, or at least he takes enough pride in the restaurant to make me believe he's the owner. Very friendly and helpful. Most of the customers appear to be regulars as they are greeted warmly and don't need the menu. I had a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were very delicious, and there was something distinct about them. Can't quite put my finger on it but I highly recommend it. Then the breakfast burrito. Absolutely fantastic! And it's absolutely huge. It comes with sour cream and a spicy sauce which was quite good. I asked for some salsa to put on top of my hashbrowns and the kitchen quickly made some fresh salsa up for me on the spot. What service! And it was delicious. Overall, if I lived anywhere close to Ypsilanti, I would be a regular too.

Anne C.

Yelp
One of the places I'll really miss from Michigan. I always loved their fried chicken, and my partner loved their tacos. Always so friendly and the food was delicious.

Rashelle H.

Yelp
Very tasty food the food is authentic and there is a variety of central american dishes!

Lydia F.

Yelp
I was so happy when I found Antonio's. They are a Honduran restaurant masquerading as a diner. I love everything on the menu that I have tried. The fried chicken, baleadas, Honduran enchiladas. It is all amazing. Don't forget to try an aguas frescas drink as well. I tried the Jamaica, which is like fruit punch. If you haven't tried Honduran food, I highly recommend going and ordering one of everything! You won't be disappointed.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Ummm, I love everything about an amazing Honduras spot moonlighting as a Coney Island restaurant. I mean yes, they have the regular stuff but the Honduran food is where it's at!! *Plato Tipico Regular with Chorizo & Egg Scramble (served with beans, HALF AN AVOCADO!!, fried plantains, sour cream and 3 corn tortillas (or toast)) - I love that this translates to a typical platter -- so basically like the grand slam haha. You can get this with bacon, ham or upgrade for chorizo. The beans are bit like black beans meet refried beans. I say that because it's a lighter color like refried beans but not as thick or goopy. They were really nicely seasoned and tasty. It was a pretty big portion! *Breakfast Burrito (Chorizo) - I think I've found the best breakfast burrito that I've had in Michigan to date! It was massive (just how I like it) and stuffed full of eggs and chorizo. There were a few green bell peppers so if you're not a fan - tell 'em to hold it. The spicy salsa that is served on the side is actually spicy. I also love that it comes with a side of hashbrown or home fries. Their version of home fries are EPIC!!! Large rounds, kind of like how you would cut a plantain, and deep fried. As a tater wedge lover, I absolutely loved them! *Pupusas - It has been a minute since I've had a pupusa which are basically like deliciously filled discs - think a completely sealed quesadilla. I ordered the spinach ones as the gal working said these were her favorite & she didn't lead me astray! They also had a loroco filling, which I have never had before or seen anywhere in the states! Loroco is an edible plant native to Central America. I'll definitely have to try it next time! This also came with a really nice slaw.

Lacey S.

Yelp
Sooo good. Ambiance is meh but the food is spectacular and very cheap. Get the papitas and the torras and anything breakfast, you will not be disappointed! Portions are large and flavor is on point.

N T.

Yelp
If you are in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area go here. It is so delicious. Get the plantain w beans and the green plantains with ground beef! The food is delicious and service is great

Stephanie H.

Yelp
If you have not eaten here. You are really really missing out. Everything on the menu is good. This is my second time here and the food is seriously top notch. This time I had the chicken with fried green bananas and slaw. Served with a mustard sauce. The chicken was crispy and delicious. I am going to make this a weekly spot so I can try everything on the menu.

Merlin O.

Yelp
From the outside, in a strip mall and the "Coney Island" in the name you wouldn't expect really good Honduran food, but that's what you'd get. I haven't tried their "coney" side of the menu, because the Honduran side gets me every time. I am slowly making my way through their menu, but I think the Pollo Frito is my favorite. Would highly recommend it!

Steven M.

Yelp
The food and service is great. One of my favorite Latino restaurants. Love the huevos rancheros--it's the best I've found locally!

Zanita W.

Yelp
Really great food at a good price. I was kinda taken aback by the employees not wearing a mask but I got my food to go so it wasn't that big of a deal to me.

Zorgdon W.

Yelp
So good! Small place in Ypsi. You may think it's a regular Coney Island on the outside. But on the inside... let me tell you. I left my plate spotless, the chicken tacos were awesome. I'll be telling my friends about this place.

Colin W.

Yelp
My wife is from El Salvador and loves this place. She loves their atol de elote ( it's like a sweet thick hot chocolate but corn flavor), the pupusas of cheese and lorocco (a flower from Central America), and the plantains. She said it's the best Central American food she's had in Michigan. Most authentic for sure.

John H.

Yelp
I was hoping for more palate surprises. I've been waiting to try the seafood soup only to be disappointed. The broth was like a chowder base and the seafood tasted like it was from the frozen aisle. The pork papusas were decent. A cornmeal paddy with filling. Also, the stuffed plantain with beans was a nice sweet and savory combo.

Scott S.

Yelp
I've been going to Antonio's for a little while at this point, and they've become one of my favorite new restaurants in the area now and the staff is also very friendly and focused on customer satisfaction and general safety. (kudos to them, btw!) I was always impressed with their food, since it such a great bang for the buck, but they also do a great job of making you feel like family there, which is a much stickier trick that requires hard work and dedication and ironically, the lack of tricks or shortcuts.

Luciana A.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! Highly recommend the seafood soup, the fried Yuka, the fish tacos, the morning platters and churros!!!

Elaine W.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Even the most plain looking dish taste amazing! Got the seafood soup and the special platter with steak. Recommend both dishes! Steak is very well seasoned. And seafood soup is ranked very high for a reason! Both dishes are decently sized for its price. Service is also very friendly. Would definitely come back!

Christopher V.

Yelp
Probably my favorite coney! I always get the pupusas! And some of their fresh water, wether it be horchata or agua de tamarindo ! Highly recommend!

Joshua B.

Yelp
Love this place. Honduran style tacos and enchiladas are a must try. Haven't had a bad item. Seafood soup, chicken tortilla soup, pupusas, tamales, coffee, choco flan dessert. You have to go here. Now.

Jessica F.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Central American + Honduran food! Loved the breakfast food when I first visited with my mom about 3 years ago, as well as the fried chicken with mustard sauce, pupusas, and the Honduran slaw. The horchata is a MUST-HAVE: the perfect amount of sweetness balanced with just the right amount of cinnamon will bring tears to your eyes.

William W.

Yelp
We were invited to check out the Honduran influenced Coney near Ypsi and we were intrigued. As soon as I saw the menu I wanted everything! My lady grabbed a melon and cucumber drink that she raved about. It was fresh and crisp and delish. I ordered tacos, a stuffed plantain and a tostada/taco hybrid with beef and slaw. Everything I ate was better than good. The chorizo taco was the best chorizo in the area, the stuffed plantain blew my mind and the beef slaw tostada was amazing too. It was such a treat to have all of the typical Coney Island foods and these amazing Latin dishes all available at the same time. This is my new favorite Coney and I don't know how any other Coney could beat it! I recommend this spot over a lot of places I really enjoy!

Shannan D.

Yelp
Honest to God probably the BEST food I've ever had. It was so delicious! I was visiting the area so I looked on Yelp for 'Mexican' food since I was craving it. Because of the great reviews, I thought I would try out Antonio's. Holy smokes! I wouldn't say it is Mexican - it's definitely 'central American' food. I took a gamble and chose pupusas off the chalkboard menu as an appetizer (spinach and cheese stuffed) and Fried Green Bananas with seasoned Beef with Honduran cabbage slaw and salsa. Holy Crap. So so so delicious. I am crying I don't live in the area and I can't eat here again! Definitely order off the Central American menu and eat everything you can

Dia D.

Yelp
We ordered three different Honduran dishes and enjoyed them all, but the best was the Green Bananas with shredded chicken. I don't like bananas, but ordered the green banana dish because it seemed the most unusual. The green bananas didn't taste like bananas and the dish had so much flavor. You can choose which protein to get with the green bananas and I got the shredded chicken which was perfect. We also had the Honduran combo plate and the #2 Typical Platter (fried egg, refried beans, avocado, plantains, and meat). The portions were very large and we took food home and/or were really stuffed. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Service was great.

Jes P.

Yelp
Pupusas, plantains, poblanos, OH MY! This is not the scary type of 'OH MY!' shouted by Dorothy and her comrades but the 'O-M-G, can I eat here everyday forever and ever?!' This is the type of place where both myself and my in-laws can be happy. There's spicy deliciousness for me and good old pancakes and bacon for them. This is the first coney + Honduran restaurant combo I've been to and is worthy of the high-five-stars! The seafood soup (which is only served on Sundays) reins as king of all dishes. The base is made with coconut milk, spiced with Honduran flavors and salted by the sea. You'll find real crab, mussels, shrimp, etc in your soup. It comes with some lime wedges which gives the soup another dimension of tastiness. The flavors reminded me a lot of some Thai dishes I've had. If you're not into seafood or meat, try the enchilada potosina with stuffed poblanos. Major flavor there! Save room for dessert with your choice of flan, atole (sweet corn drink with actual kernels!), cheesecake or carrot cake! Service, cleanliness, and price are all A+ but even if it wasn't, I'd still have to chow-down. The food is too good to pass up!

Anne S.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years. It's a great little gem, well known in the area, but also kind of hidden by being a Coney Island. Don't be fooled. The Honduran and central American food is great. Well worth it!

Elyse C.

Yelp
Just bopping by to say still AMAZING and I recently had their seasonal gazpacho and found it to be excellent. Yucca fries - YES. Ask for the spicy salsa if you can handle really spicy. A staple in my rotation, never disappointed. And the fish tacos were the best I've had outside California

Matt N.

Yelp
Many thanks to all of you A2 Yelpers for steering me in the right direction, again. Antonio's pulls off something I didn't know even existed. A Honduran Taqueria and Coney Island in one place. Impossible I thought. Glad I was wrong and you all were right. This place has awesome Coneys and excellent Latin food. We had the Sunday special seafood soup, a couple of Churrasquitos, and coneys with fries. Delicious. Can't wait to return.

Robert G.

Yelp
Love this place! This is a place I just have to go to every time I fly back to Michigan from Los Angeles. Antonio's Coney Island is a go-to place for authentic Honduran food. This is coming from a guy who has had Honduran food only at an Antonio's Coney Island. Either way, it tastes delicious, highly recommend sticking to the Honduran menu. Get the Honduran Sampler, some Honduran Coffee and a side of plantain chips. you won't go wrong!

Paul W.

Yelp
There are three diners clustered in this area, and this is the only one I'll patronize in the future. My wife and I came here for a late lunch today. We came near 3PM, not really a prime lunch or dinner time, and the place was still nearly full--seating is a bit limited. I ordered a chorizo omelette, my wife a tamale special (pepper/cheese filling; beef was another option). Both were top-rate. The omelette was cooked perfectly, the chorizo was spicy but still meaty (for that item, the pepper should never overpower the pig, at least in my book). I asked for my hash browns extra crispy and that's exactly what I got. My wife's tamales were firm but chewy, with peppers and cheese well proportioned. The peppers looked fresh too, not out of a can. Beans on the side were creamy, with some whole beans mixed in. Rice came with it as well. While I wouldn't say our server was warm, she wasn't rude, and she got us what we needed quickly. Prices were surprisingly low--$5.99 for an omelette/potatoes/toast is a steal in these parts. The tamale plate cost the same. We will certainly be returning to try some of the other Latin fare.

Yelp
Irene n Miguel from small town outside Mexico City fool us you name this Coney Island Yea right not even close. You have delicious Detroit style Coney Island food and American breakfast, what your sign not saying you make outstanding Honduras, Salvadorean n Puerto Rican food also. Yelp
Discovered this a couple months back and it's easily one of my favorite places to come to! My favorite dish has to be the Honduran fried chicken with a side of rice and plantains. Their honey mustard sauce is truly magical.

John T.

Yelp
We were really excited to try this place out! We ordered thru Grubhub, and in our notes we said 'please include extra hot sauce, if not extra cost.' About 15 minutes after sending in our order, we got an email saying that there was an adjustment to our cost because of extra cost. Right away, this irked us, but we shook it off because, hey, what's an extra $1? We get to the store. They are practicing social distancing. Great! When we open open up the bag, right away we notice that there are items missing. I contact Grubhub, and they refund me for missing items. I order the fried chicken, and my girlfriend orders the beef enchiladas. There is a sauce that comes with the enchiladas (an orange sauce) that tastes like literally NOTHING. My girlfriend hands it over to me to taste-test it asking, "hey, am I crazy, or is this absolutely flavorless." She's right. The Honduran slaw is pretty good, but missing something (I'm thinking lime). The fried chicken is pretty good as well, but not the best. The fried bananas were extremely disappointing. Completely flavorless. My family is from Belize (right next to Honduras), and I'm so used to an array of flavors and taste. Flavor was seriously lacking in this food. We may try again at some point, but this is not a place that we are excited to order from again any time soon. EDIT: Based on other reviews, we do recognize that this may just be a one-off mishap. Will edit again if we try this place out again.

Skip G.

Yelp
Coney Island?!? Hardly. To be certain, the front of the menu presents all the Detroit-Area offerings one would expect at a Coney Joint. The back page of the menu features expectant breakfast selections. But, open to the middle. Two pages of Honduran food. Not familiar with this? Worry not, the server is eager to explain anything and everything. It's Latina Fare Extraordinaire. It was reported that there's a husband & wife team cooking in that kitchen. Fabulouso! Save room for the in-house-made deserts. This place makes culinary adventuresomeness oh-so rewarding.

Ying C.

Yelp
With the high reviews I was excited to try this place. Truly a family owned place. Service was prompt and very friendly. I tried the following: Seafood soup (4/5) - lots of flavors and very comforting. Not super creamy and full of mussels, clam, shrimp and other goodies. Even the small was quite large. It definitely tastes home cooked. Not mind blowingly good but has nice home flavors. Special platter with beef and onions (3.5/5) - this came with an egg, avocado, Honduran slaw, fried plain Tania, refried beans, choice of meat and tortilla. I was a little disappointed at the beef and onions since the meat was dry and did not have a lot of flavors. However the plaintains were good and flavorful. In general a nice place for a change of flavors. Food I would say is 3.5 but given the really nice service and family owned vibes it deserves a 4.

Mike S.

Yelp
So, the reviews for this place are Luh Jit! I'm not gonna lie, I had no idea what Honduran/Guatemalan food even was. I didn't even know these folks had their own food. But that shit was good yo, real good. I had the Honduran Combo and I still have no idea what it is that I ate but it was AMAZING. I literally took out my phone, showed her a picture and said I want this. One thing was like a quesadilla with beans and sour cream in it and it was really awesome. I would order a half dozen of those again on their own. I also had some chicken tortilla soup that was on special on Monday. It was unlike any chicken tortilla soup I had before but it was definitely homemade and super flavorful. The misses had the fish and chips which she enjoyed. She said the cole slaw (which was also homemade) was the best she ever had. Uh, ok? Thanks for the feedback, Honey. Something I really like is how approachable this place this. As a standalone Honduras place, my old lady never comes here. As a standalone Coney Island, I never come here. But together, this is the ultimate mashup. I honestly don't know why more ethnic places don't try this approach because it makes total sense. Instead of trying to force ethnic food on folks that might be less than receptive, give me Americanized food with a "special" menu of said home country. Even though I will try damn near anything, ethnic food is scary to a lot of people and making it clear to people that there are other options if you aren't down is a smart move. Anyway, another thing worth noting is that this place is small, like 6 tables small. So, if you are trying to roll up here either A) bring your patience or B) consider the carry out. I honestly don't know what this place is gonna do if it really blows up because there is legitimately no place to accommodate all these people. So at some point you might be eating Torta's in the parking lot. They keep stacking these awesome reviews and keep the flavor up they might need to relocate. Definitely a diamond in the rough. And I gotta give another shout out to my fellow Yelpers for preventing a lunch argument with a few swipes of the Yelp app. Gracias.

Yelp
Not exactly sure why this place has great ratings. We came here expecting flavorful Central American food but was horribly disappointed. I HATE to give this place 2 stars because the owners clearly are hard-working people. FOOD: Disappointing! We've had Honduran/Salvadoran/Guatemalan food before at other restaurants and through friends, however this place was extremely under-seasoned from what we had before. This place uses minimum to no salt on their dishes. I'm not one to ever add salt on my food but felt I had to here. Fish and Chips: I saw this on previous Yelper photos so I should have known better but I was CRAVING crispy fish and hoping for the best. I asked if it was battered in-house and the waitress said yes. The perfectly formed fish and mushy texture to it told me this was some boxed frozen fish. It was decent but didn't warrant the $9 price for 2 small filets small bit of rice (got rice instead of fries) and cole slaw (more mayonnaisey than straight vinegar curtido we're used to). I asked for a side of salsa but it was watered down and super spicy which is not what I expected from this cuisine. Seafood soup: This was a special today so I tried it because it seemed like the highlight here on Yelp. Though it clearly wasn't fresh seafood, it was what I was looking for. After adding salt, this tasted comforting to me being a desperate seafood fan. This came at the very end of our meal. It was very brothy and had a small splash of coconut milk which I appreciated as I didn't want it to be overly creamy and coconutty with some tomato, small chunks of imitation crab, tiny mussel meat, a ring or 2 of calamari, a small chunk or 2 of sweet potatoes, a small chunk of sweet plantain, and bits of salmon. This was the saving grace for this place which made me hint at coming back, but it isn't extraordinary enough for me to do so...just better than the rest of the other items. Special platter #2: My husband ordered the steak and onions and flour tortillas but got corn tortillas. The steak was severely under-seasoned. Everything on the plate seemed to not have salt. Baleada (egg and avocado): Husband liked it. He said it was best thing he had here. Churrascitos: Made with the same under-seasoned steak as the #2 platter. Underwhelming. Had a bit of the slaw and lots of cilantro but still no real hit of flavor. SERVICE: Our server was young and not very friendly. Server forgot several things. Had to remind her several times for things. Asked for flour tortillas but got corn. Didn't bother to replace it. Asked for salsa. Had to ask twice. Gave something we didn't order. AMBIANCE: Clean, small, quaint with Latin music playing softly in the background. More of a diner type establishment.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast! Unbelievable breakfast burrito. French toasts equally amazing. Definitely a hidden gem if you haven't yet found it.

Yelp
Pros: - delicious central American food - tasty breakfast options (I can vouch for the Typical Platter and limitless Colombian coffee) - Latin music you can bob your head to - Super friendly and attentive staff Cons: - my stomach wasn't large enough to try the stuffed plantain as well 10/10 will go again!

Yelp
I assure you, the food here is five star whether you are eating off the Honduran menu or the regular menu. I very much enjoyed the central American fare last time, so this time I tried an omelette with breakfast potatoes and biscuits with sausage gravy, split with my wife. Holy cow, the egg seemed to melt in my mouth and the sausage gravy was perfect, with fluffy biscuits, too. Great service, great prices - don't miss this place.

Yelp
Best authentic Latin American food around. Especially the Tortilla soup. The only place I could find pupusas. They are delicious!

Yelp
I tried Antonio's based on the great Yelp reviews. Nice little place. Latin music. Good coffee. Good service. The breakfast quesadilla is a good choice. I will come back to try some of the Honduran specials for lunch or dinner. I like that this place isn't crowded and noisy even when it's full.

Yelp
A true hidden gem. Have been here twice and can't get enough. They have all the typical Coney Island fare but with a distinct home-cooked touch. But the Honduran menu is freaking awesome and super reasonable. Not the kind of place I would travel to get, but good enough to make me jealous of those who live close. The chicken tortilla soup is awesome and both meals I had were perfectly on point. I will be back and recommend anyone looking for comfort food or to try something new to visit.
