"Since the lights are low, you can only pick up the scent of old money when you walk into this upscale contemporary American spot in the St. Regis Hotel in Buckhead. Dinner here is an experience, beginning with the presentation of an iPad containing info about all of the artwork in the room (so if dinner at the Louvre is on your bucket list, eating caviar in the presence of a Picasso, Van Gogh, or Matisse is a cool second). Because we like choices when we’re putting down big bucks, we’re happy that Atlas offers an à la carte menu and a $250 eight-course tasting menu. Neither option is the wrong choice, but make sure you’re getting a bite of the creamy black truffle gnocchi and tender Westholme filet." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams
"The Michelin-starred restaurant in the St. Regis Atlanta is known for its close attention to detail and elegance — dessert is no exception. On the menu you’ll find exquisitely crafted treats like the FM Golden Rocher (named after culinary director Freddy Money). An homage to the classic gold foil-wrapped treat, the dessert look’s like its namesake with a hazelnut bonbon atop vanilla ice cream. The tasting menu is capped-off with chocolate service that includes gummy bears and caramel candies with a twist." - Lia Picard
"One-Michelin-starred Atlas helmed by executive chef Freddy Money is a fine-dining destination in Buckhead. The chef’s tasting menu is a whimsical culinary journey — dishes like “snacks” which are a creative take on Ritz crackers and Cheetos, and green eggs and ham, evoke childhood memories. The most recent addition to the spring menu is a poached salmon with many sauces, circles, and squares, and we can’t get enough of it. The wine list here is extensive, with major hitters like Domaine De La Romanée-Conti (one of the most rare and expensive Burgundy wines in the world), Remy Martin Cognac Louis XIII, and a Madeira cart with rare treasures — not to be missed. Atlas also has a tavern menu with a la carte dishes and cocktails. Best for: Seasonal tasting menu, art collection, and wine list." - Eater Staff
"Who says fine dining can’t be vegan? One-Michelin-starred Atlas offers a vegan tasting menu with seasonal dishes. Expect cavatelli pasta with seaweed pesto, roasted onion tarte tatin, and grilled maitake (also known as hen-of-the-woods) mushroom with black garlic and mushroom ketchup. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available. Be sure to get the wine pairing and let the sommeliers decide from their behemoth 3,250 bottles in the wine library." - Beth McKibben
"Located at the swanky St. Regis hotel in Buckhead, Atlas is always a solid choice for a celebratory, splurge-worthy dinner. Think Kristal caviar, Westholme wagyu, and desserts like a take on Chocolate Rocher. For a real treat, book the chef’s table experience at Atlas, an elaborate tasting menu feast which also comes with dessert and wine pairings. Afterwards, pop over to the Garden Room next door for one last drink. Dress code." - Eater Staff
