From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Our meal, paired with wine to complement each course, was nothing short of magical. What truly stood out was how each dish amazed us, even after we had been given a detailed rundown by our host. They explained the inspiration behind each dish, its ingredients, and its story, but even with this knowledge, every bite was still a delightful surprise—flavors, textures, and presentations that continued to captivate us. The culinary mastery was evident not just in the taste but in the meticulous plating. Each dish was a piece of art, adorned with edible flowers, vibrant leaves, and a rich palette of colors that brought the entire dining experience to life. As someone who enjoys cooking, I couldn't help but appreciate the attention to detail and the innovative approach to vegetarian cuisine. What made this meal even more special was the sheer consistency across all 16 courses—there wasn't a single dish we loved beyond the others, nor did we encounter anything that fell short. Rather, the experience as a whole uplifted our understanding of what food can be: not just a means of nourishment, but a medium for art and expression. If you’re someone who appreciates food as an experience, as an art form to be savored, Avatara is the place to be. To make the occasion even more memorable, the restaurant surprised us with a beautiful cake for my mom’s birthday and a thoughtful takeaway gift to commemorate the experience. If you're looking to explore the world of food beyond its basic role, Avatara will redefine your culinary standards. It’s an unforgettable experience that leaves you with a profound appreciation for the artistry of cooking.

Absolutely masterful chef delivers artistically presented, off the charts delicious food. A 16-course pre fixe dinner opened with a bang with 6 appetizers each of which was an experience in itself. Ten other courses followed, each a masterpiece. The surprises in some of the dishes after popping them in the mouth was like discovering unexpected treasures. A violinist added to the ambience with her live performance. The waiter enquired whether we were celebrating any occasion and promptly brought out a cake for our belated anniversary celebration. To top it off they gave us two boxes of pastries as we headed out the door. One of the finest dining experiences I’ve had and I’ve dined in fine establishments in a few places worldwide.

A culinary experience! Quickest and Polished service… Great Ambience! Scrumptious Meal! ♥️✨ Went there for our Anniversary Celebration and the experience was magical. Each dish bought on the table out of the 16 course menu, was thoughtfully curated and felt equally flavourful. 🫶🏻

Pleasantly surprised by the exceptional vegetarian food, service and experience! If you are a sceptical non vegetarian like me, definitely give it a go. Very creative and surprising cuisine on offer. Bonus points if you can relate to the nostalgia from uttarakhand based dessert. Had the 16 course menu for a birthday celebration, dinner in the larger private dining room. We played a guess the scent game while waiting for our first course. The ayurveda based first 6 courses were superb, small bites full of surprises. We also tried a few of the low abv drinks, the berry chang was delicious despite the pungent smell. I'm not a big fan of tart, sour flavours so the main course and pre desert wasn't a big hit for me, others were happy with it. Service is top notch, everything was explained well. We took a tour of the service prep station, heard the live violinist. We were able to repeat our favourite course, get extra paan shots and even got a take away dessert. Won't comment on value for money, but we all loved the experience. I'll be back once the menu changes.

From a set menu view. I loved the concept and the presentations done. Each dish was yum and flavourful. Definitely enjoyed it as a one time. The dessert - rose cookie like was amazing. On the not so okay side. The food didn’t have any solid filling course for a 1600+ calorie meal - you basically end up feeling full due to the oils and ghee bases. The only annoying part was the decor. Which had fake plants lined up like an 90’s restaurant. I’m sure an alternative if not real plants can be done. It felt tacky and out of place for the concept. Wine was crazily priced - it was criminal almost.

Recently visited the restaurant for dinner and it was a one-of-a-kind experience. They had an 16 course fixed menu with a beautifully curated spread each representing different states and flavours of India. Absolutely loved all the dishes that were served. My personal favourites were the Rasas (with which the dining experience started), Kalingam, Krishna phal, klaayah, Madhurram (especially the bal mithai) and Parna. It was truly a unique experience to savour the Indian flavours served in such a variety. Yes, it is expensive but for a special occasion it is worth the visit! All in all, absolutely enjoyed our dinner at Avatara and would highly recommend visiting once.

An amazing experience for people who love vegetarian meals and looking for something extra ordinary in high end cuisine. Reynold was our host and he gave us an over all heart warming detailed explanation of all the varities of food served for us in hindi and as well english. Also it made my mom’s birthday more special , nevertheless they also wished her with a complimentary chocolate moose coffee infused cake which was so overwhelming 🥰❤️ Thanks to team Avatara & Reynold & all the chefs to make our sunday brunch so heartwarming ❤️

Fantastic experience, the food went beyond our experience and stood true to the promise - vegetarian food from across India that’s imaginative, bold, and experimental. Everything worked really well for us. Special thanks to Reynold and Angela for taking care of us and explaining the nuances in the food. Definitely coming back when there have a new menu.
