The food and cocktails were amazing. We had appetizers, entrees, and dessert and everything was top notch, especially the homemade noodles. Our server was attentive and enthusiastic. It was a great experience!

A friend reccomend this place and I will say it did not disappoint. We decided to make a reservation for our daughter graduation for a group of ten. Everything from booking our reservation to the attentiveness and excellent service given by our server, the food and bartender it was all a 10/10 experience. The food & drinks were amazing and everyone enjoy their dish. I loved that they went beyond that extra mile and were able to not only prepare the octopus dish that wasn't available during the time period we visit, but I found it super cute that they acknowledge the special event we were celebrating and brought out a sweet dish beautifully presented for our daughter. We didn't catch our service name, but she was great and I wanted to say thank you for going that extra mile and making our visit a wonderful experience. Also, shoutout to the kitchen crew and rest of the team. Keep up the wonderful work. I definitely will be recommending this place and I will definitely be a returning guest.

Absolutely a great place to go for a special evening meal. LOTS of interesting dishes on the menu. Staff bent over backwards, helping us celebrate the anniversary of our first date. Our server, Krystal, was super. If you like butternut squash, try theZucca pizza. But be sure to save room for dessert!

My boyfriend’s mom was visiting from Boston for Easter, so we drove 64 miles to Bar Corallini from Brookfield upon the recommendation of my boss, a Madison local, for Easter Sunday. On the drive there, we commiserated about working on every single holiday as a waitress or bartender for many years in our pasts and expressed our appreciation for restaurant and bar teams everywhere. On the drive home, my boyfriend’s mom said it was the best Italian food she’d ever had. I’m vegan and would put the meal and service I had yesterday up against the best vegan food and service I’ve had anywhere in the world. Thank you for helping us make a cherished family memory. (Pictured: my vegan basilico e pomodoro pizza. I also enjoyed sparking rosé, mezcal, grappa, farinata fries, and affogato with chocolate sorbetto.)

Bar Corallini!! is the best Italian restaurant in town. The food is amazingly fresh. i've never been to Italy, but I guarantee Italy has been brought to America. I need you to go eat at this restaurant to understand the words that I am saying.

We love Bar Corallini! This restaurant has some of the best food in Madison, inventive drinks, and lovely accommodating staff. You know when you go to a pricy restaurant to try the complex flavors and they just bring out a foam with eggshell sprinkles of sadness on it? This is not that! Their plates are complex and unique, but absolutely approachable and filling. We always leave with leftovers (which they will box up and label for you)! They always have fun cocktails on the menu and even have their own bottles Limoncello that you can purchase. Servers have taken pictures for us without us asking, have provided me great suggestions for how to adjust meals to be vegetarian, and have just been friendly and inviting humans. 10/10 Bar Corallini!

I stopped by Bar Corallini for the first time since their soft open a few years ago, and they have really curated a vibe. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I loved the aesthetic and decor. We sat at the bar and I was mesmerized watching the bartenders. I ordered the 8 Finger Cavatelli and it was outstanding. They were generous with the shrimp and the sauce was to die for. My boo and I split the Basilico E Pomodoro which was also fantastic! The service was attentive and so efficient. The prices are fair and totally worth it. Bar Corallini is definitely worth checking out!

Tonight was our first time. Loved the vibe from go: great decor, spacious, staff were all friendly. We were then delighted to receive flavorful, delicate, complex dishes. The food came out appropriately fast and hot. Loved the finocchio salad, Zucca pizza and affogato the most but truly everything was wonderful, including the eggplant fritters and orecchiette. Can’t wait to try several other dishes on their menu. Service was wonderful. Ana took great care of us, was attentive, thoughtful and personable. We felt like we were in one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago or New York. Well done, Bar Corallini! We will be back!

Yelp
Bar Corallini is my favorite place to go in Madison for a special occasion. I love the aquatic decor and the romantic lighting. It can get noisy but the atmosphere always feels intimate. It's a popular place so you'll want to make a reservation--ideally about 2 weeks out. Any vegans looking for an extensive and thoughtful vegan menu need to come here. I don't think there's another Italian restaurant in Madison with so many wonderful vegan dishes. I love the warm olives, antipasti board, farinata fries, and bean dip with pizza bread when they have it. The muffaletta is delicious, as are the pizzas. The pastas change with the season but they always seem to have cacio e pepe and it has yet to let me down. They also have vegan affogato and sorbet. I highly recommend Bar Corallini!

Yelp
3.5 stars. Overall the experience was nice and our server was fine. We went for brunch on Sunday at 12:30. It was fairly busy, but not crazy. I appreciated the expansive menu, but it definitely is not somewhere I would go if I'm in the mood for a robust brunch. I was surprised by this because it was a top rated selection for brunch by Madison Mag. I actually ended up not choosing brunch because the main menu items sounded more interesting. I got the Bucatini and it was very good. As was the appetizer of Burrata. Weird to me was the lack of coffee drinks. If that's not their thing, all good, but it seemed like they had the equipment and for a place like this I was surprised to not see it on the menu. Also a big bummer was that at 1:30 when I asked for a refill of my coffee what I got was a half filled cup? Were they out of coffee? During brunch? Seemed weird for a server to give you a half filled refill and not offer an explanation. Ambiance is top notch. The place is gorgeous and the location is great. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated and are goals. I'd return, but it just didn't live up to the hype. Seems like more of a dinner place in my book.

Yelp
We had an amazing visit for dinner! Drinks were excellent, especially their Calm before the storm! Wow. Amazingly different flavors! We got 3 different pastas and their chicken piccata. All were excellent and nice portions. The mushroom house made tagliatelle and tagliatelle special with prosciutto... delicious. As was Shrimp scampi in house made spaghetti... Service was great. Location and interior very nice! Would love to return to try more!!!

Yelp
I FINALLY got to try Bar Corallini and it did not disappoint. We made reservations for a Wednesday evening during their happy hour, and got seated in one of their lovely booths by the kitchen. Our server Katie was wonderful, and was extremely helpful throughout the evening! Their $6 aperol spritz was pretty good, but the star of the show was their kale salad we ordered for an appetizer. For our mains, we got a margherita pizza and the gnocchi. The pizza was fine, nothing to write home about, but the gnocchi was a huge hit. The mushroom ragout was mouthwatering, and the leftovers were still delicious the next day. Overall, as far as their menu goes, I would not recommend the $6 ciabatta bread appetizer, but I would order the kale salad a million times over. The next time we go, I'm excited to try another entree.

Yelp
I wanted to love this restaurant but I had a few qualms with our service. We booked a later reservation around 8:30 and were seated promptly. It seemed as though our server was a bit annoyed the whole time. When we asked for a second to look at the menu we didn't see her again for quite some time. When she finally came back to take our order we were informed very snappily that it was last call for the kitchen. The food was okay, but nothing out of this world. Maybe my expectations were set a bit high but I feel as though it was very run of the mill Italian dishes. In addition the pizza we ordered (not pictured) had a pretty floppy undercarriage and was a bit doughy. The inside is a cool vibe and I would love to come back and give it another try eventually.

Yelp
Excellent aperol spritz and a great vibe. Such a cool restaurant in the heart of the Atwood neighborhood. Well decorated, clean, views of the kitchen and big pizza oven, different seating options, and a great menu. We met friends here for dinner and sat up at the bar. A table wait time for Saturday night at 6pm was 30-45 minutes (it's hard to get reservations unless you make them way in advance). We love sitting up at the bar so it worked out. The bar area is awesome. Great decor, big city bar vibes, cool glasses, backlight, etc. The bartenders are so nice and very helpful and knowledgeable. We started off with cocktails and the eggplant fritters. The eggplant fritters were amazing! Flavorful and delicious. The dish comes with 5 fritters so after that we decided splitting a pizza would be plenty of food for us. We split the pepperoni and pickled pepper. We have had this pizza before and loved it. This time it wasn't as good. The pizza was under cooked so the crust was a little doughy but the flavor was amazing. I love the hot honey on top. We had a glass of true Italian red wine which paired perfectly. Great wine list! It's always a fun night out at Bar Corallini!

Yelp
My 2nd time visiting Bar Corallini (I live really far!) and an absolute star of a restaurant. I knew I could count on them for a birthday date night. Chef-crafted menu and taste, well renovated ambiance and setup, yet the space and food radiates comfortable and homey. Hostess was so accommodating and personable yet got things done, both on the phone and in person. We were seated in a comfy booth at the door, good evening lighting and ambiance. Great service that was attentive but not overpowering. Both pizza and pasta were so good, definitely a taste that is not easy to replicate as a home chef, yet using everyday ingredients and flavors we know and love. Pasta was al dente, great springy bite, sauce was buttery but not too oily, yummy broccoli as veg was a nice surprise! Soaked up the sauce really nicely. Pizza was sooo light and crisp to devour, the stracciatella on it was the star. Definitely dipped the crust in the pasta sauce! Drooool~ p.s. Bathroom is also so roomy and pretty, definitely a must visit LOL! They also kindly gifted us a yummy cannoli to take home for the birthday boy, so thank you! Will be back for sure! YUM YUM YUM~

Yelp
Amazing pizza and great atmosphere!!! Absolutely loved the muffaletta also, one of the best sandwiches I've had in Madison.

Yelp
What an amazing spot! All the decor is so on point to the theme and vibe of the restaurant. We were greeted right away and asked about drinks. Had some help picking out delicious cocktails. Our waitress made excellent suggestions. We started off with an antipasto board and WOW that's A LOT of food. Everything on the board is delectable. Bread is a MUST! The rigatoni was AMAZING! Such a huge portion and the flavor is outstanding. One of my favorites only rivaled by Cento. For dessert we got a canolli and their special dessert chocolate sausage. Both were sooooo delicious. I wouldn't have that chocolate sausage could be could be so amazing. HIGHLY recommend if on the menu. The cannoli was great quality too. One of the best I've had!! We finished with a lemon cello shot and it was ok but not my cup of tea. VERY strong! Overall a very inviting atmosphere and a wonderful dining experience! Will be back :)

Yelp
An Atwood Avenue gem, Bar Corallini is sometimes hard to get into - but I feel it's worth the wait to get a res. My fave dish here is the Bolognese - so much food! Great to share for two. Ambience is fun & friendly! You can come as you are or get fancy - it's all good at the BC! A lovely experience every time I've been here & so happy it's a 10-minute walk from my home near East High. Cheers to you - check it out ASAP! You will say: "Abundanza!"

Yelp
Weekend brunches with friends are a cherished tradition, and our recent outing to @barcorallini was a memorable experience. To kick things off, l indulged in the Insalata Mista (not pictured), a refreshing mix of greens paired with wine-poached beets, roasted butternut squash, creamy gorgonzola, and toasted pepitas, all drizzled with delightful aged balsamic vinaigrette. For the main course, I relished the Rigatoni alla Bolognese, featuring a hearty blend of beef and pork bolognese sauce, topped with Parmigiano Reggiano, velvety whipped ricotta, and crispy breadcrumbs. To complement these flavorful dishes, I enjoyed a classic mimosa. Overall, the meal was a culinary delight, with each dish expertly crafted to order.

Yelp
We traveled far away ( Bay Area) Thanks to my step daughter choice for dinner. Bar Corallini was everything we expected and more. Food was prepared perfectly with fresh, well selected ingredients. I tried for the very first time Wisconsin's sweet old fashion. Service was friendly and timely. Atmosphere is eclectic. Thank you for preserving that beautiful building!

Yelp
I stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday noon. I didn't have reservation, but got a seat right away. I got a 8 finger cavatelli. It had excellent flavors. Walnut gave a good crunch. It was a light lunch for me.

Yelp
I do not understand the hype in terms of reviews on this place. We went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy, so we thought that was a good sign. We sat at the bar and even though the staff are literally in your face 24/7 behind the bar, they still somehow don't see and/or ignore you. So the service was pretty slow, we had to wait a long time to get the bartenders attention so we could place our entree orders, get boxes, and finally the check. Next, the food was just so average. For the price, this was a huge disappointment. We had to pay for painfully average ciabatta bread. I could easily get bread like this from literally any grocery store. Nothing special at all. We tried the braised octopus appetizer. Some parts of the octopus were tender but other parts were chewy. The accompaniments are super random and non-cohesive. Chick peas, olives, sun dried tomatoes, oranges, celery? The dish felt disjointed. I love vodka sauce so I got the cavatelli as an entree. The sauce was so thin and runny with a consistency like water. The pasta had shrimp on top (not throughout and in the sauce itself) but the entire dish smelled and tasted fishy. The pasta was mushy and dough-y. My stomach was uneasy for the entire night afterwards. My boyfriend had the bolognese which really lacked depth of flavor. His pasta was verrrrrry al dente, almost slightly undercooked. I tried a Turkish coffee flavored gelato for dessert which may have been the best thing I ate all evening, but it was $8 for one scoop which is pretty hefty pricing. Overall, a very average meal for 2 people was $100 without drinks. This really sealed the 2/5 review for me. It is so average to be paying that much. I actually think that the Italian food at Olive Garden is better. Sorely disappointed! Maybe we tried all the wrong things, but I can't sugar coat it! We won't be back.

Yelp
A great place for a fancy dinner! We love coming here for birthdays. They make their pasta fresh so it always tastes great! Also had a great vegan / vegetarian selection as well! Always love coming back here! These are some dishes I've had there throughout the years. Staff are all super great with questions and know the menu well! TLDR: Keep coming back! Great staff! Yummy food! Happy tummies!

Yelp
Attentive service, clean and attractive ambiance. Food was delicious. One order each of pizza, gnocchi and frittata at the table. We split one serving of tiramisu which was very good--the white garnish topping with orange flavoring was a delicious surprise.

Yelp
Came for date night on a Wednesday evening. There were a couple empty tables so we were quickly seated. We started with the crostone which is sort of like an open-faced sandwich. Warning: it is kind of messy and my hands (and somehow my upper arm) ended up sticky, but it has a great combination of loud flavors. Then we had the basilico e pomodoro (pesto) pizza. Another tasty offering with plenty of pesto flavor and enough tomato for those wanting a tomato base. The crust (bottom) is rather thin though which makes picking up a slice tricky because it kind of flops, but the outside "rim" is fine. It has a nice chewy texture. We got gelato/sorbet for dessert. The chocolate sorbet was great. With chocolate, you can often get something that's more milky especially with grocery store-bought ice cream. This was very much dark chocolate and hit the spot. Sparkling water to drink is also free. Oh, and they were nice enough not to tell us to please get going as the last people there an hour after closing!

Yelp
Came by for an early dinner. Ambiance was relaxed, service was pleasant and food ranged between good and great. Eggplant fritters were some of the best I ever had. Moist on the inside with a thin but crispy outside. Pastas had a true handmade feel. Bouncy but not chewy or overly starchy. Certainly a repeat type of establishment. FYI reason for a 4 star: they are so good that I applied the rating rubric for establishments that hold Michelin stars. A few minor tweaks would make them a fair candidate for Top 5 in Wisconsin.

Yelp
I asked for a pizza without eggplant. They remade it and it gad eggplant! They can't follow directions. They suck!

Yelp
(2.5-3) I'm sad to say, I was a bit dissapointed with my visit to Bar Corallini especially since I have heard so many glowing reviews. I came here last night with a friend as a celebration/send off for medical school. The restaurant itself has a very nice interior, which I enjoyed and appreciated. It was mostly the service that my friend and I were displeased with and just ruined the rest of the experience. Our server was not completely engaging and a little stiff towards us. Soon after we sat down, a couple was seated next to us which the server appeared to know and chatted with very frequently. That, of course, in and of itself is fine but it interfered with how our service was and we felt a bit ignored. I ended up accidentally dropping my fork during dinner and it landed underneath that table next to us (while the server and couple were chatting) and I apologized and reached under to grab it (which I shouldn't really have to do), and the server didn't even acknowledge or offer to bring a new fork, though that clearly happened right in front of her eyes. It felt a bit awkward and like we were being ignored. She was also slow to clear our clearly empty dishes and glasses even though she was passing or stopping by our table. I did really enjoy the drinks (calm before the storm and the special - kinda like an old fashioned/manhattan with brandy and was lemony). That was probably the best part of the dinner. We had the fries, vegan calzone, and tagliatelle for food. They were alright. I am wondering if the service was tainting my experience of the food or not, because I wasn't entirely impressed. All in all, I had really high hopes, and just ended up feeling let down.

Yelp
Bar Corallini never disappoints! I recently took my wife there for her birthday, and we had a fantastic time. Bar Corallini is a charming, cozy location with great service. We started out with some of the chef's own limoncello (called Novella, which you can also buy bottles of). The beet special was very refreshing, but the pasta was the real star. We had the Ricotta Gnocchi (with pistachio pesto) - Bar Corallini is justifiably famous for their gnocchi; it was excellent! We also tried the Paccheri, large cylindrical noodles (almost like manicotti noodles) in a rich sauce with 'nduja (a spicy pork sausage), asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and smoked pecorino.

Yelp
Today was my first time at Bar Corallini and it won't be my last. When I was looking online I was expecting a darker older interior, but it was light, bright, comfortable, modern and cool. It has a great vibe. I love Italian food and their menu was legit! We had tried the Tagliatelle, Shrimp Scampi and Ragu with Braised Pork that was the day's Special. We loved them all! My favorite was the Ragu the flavors were so rich and the fresh ricotta on the top balanced the flavorful sauce. For desserts we tried the Tiramisu which is the best I've ever had, seriously! We also tried the Chocolate Sorbetto which was so rich and delicious. We also bought the Dolci Cannollo for home! My favorite thing about Bar Corallini is the friendly atmosphere. People were talking from one table to another. Server was so nice! We will be back, I highly recommend you try.

Yelp
Went here with my teen son who loves Italian food. He had the bolognese and I had the mushroom pasta dish it was filling and delicious. The pasta was fresh with good consistency. Wish I'd tried a cocktail because they had a small but interesting cocktail menu and a small wine list by the glass. Next time. The restaurant is nicely decorated, we sat near the kitchen in the back and it didn't feel loud or crowded. Small parking lot, but in this area it's rare to have a parking lot at all.

Brandon B.

Yelp
Everything was top notch! Staff - 5 stars! Drinks - 5 stars! Good - 5 stars! The chef is from Italy and I wish I could have eaten more or tried more food! I'd love to come back soon, but we are from Minneapolis...

Yelp
Belated birthday dinner for my husband. It was an amazing dinner and we had excellent service. The antipasti board was a meal in itself. Fresh and plentiful with Prosciutto di Parma, soppressata, grilled eggplant, marinated zucchini, roasted red peppers, marinated artichokes, heirloom cherry tomatoes with pesto, stracciatella, whipped ricotta, toasted ciabatta. The Rigatoni Alla Bolognese was perfection with beef & pork in a delicious sauce. The calzone was one of the best we've had. The crust was perfectly baked stuffed with Ricotta, mushrooms, cotto ham, house-made mozzarella, San Marzano tomato sauce, and fresh basil. The fresh spaghetti with prawns was al dente and delicious. We topped it off with the cannoli and a HUGE scoop of lemon sorbetto.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place, but kind of felt like I was getting an attitude from everyone. Like I was wearing patchouli in a room where everyone is wearing Chanel- and yes! It was THAT bad! So much so that I don't feel the need to describe what I ate because its not like I'd go back for another dose of friendliness. Obviously there's no ambiance in a negative environment.

Yelp
A pleasant lunch experience. The interior is very modern and bright. The open kitchen concept is great. We brought our baby and stroller and the host was very nice and helpful. The server was professional and took good care of us. The egg fritters is a yummy appetizer in meatball shape with crispy crust and creamy filling. Although we are not a huge fan of eggplants, we enjoy the dish. The pappardelle is great - love the slightly chewy house-made egg noodles with flavorful and rich mushroom sauce! The sals & rapini pizza has Italian sausage, ricotta cheese and green veggies that taste a bit like wasabi. We like it because it's thin, balanced and not too heavy. Overall, the food was perfect for two people to share. We would be back!

Yelp
Visited bar corallini on a Sunday evening to celebrate for dinner. My party of 2 made a reservation in advance and were promptly seated. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The venue had a very aesthetic & homey feel to it. My party got the eggplant Parmesan balls & kale salad to start. The eggplant balls were amazing - savory, had nice outer crunch, and were served with Parmesan and tomato sauce to serve. The kale salad was served with breadcrumbs & Parmesan and had a nice acidic vinaigrette. Bar Corallini has a happy hour menu from 4-6pm where you can get an aperol spritz or a classic Negroni for $6. For entrees, we tried some of their seasonal pasta dishes and we were very happy with the flavor. Overall, would recommend!

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere here! We wanted something light after a concert nearby. We ordered the Insalata Mista, and the Margherita pizza. The salad was DElICIOUS! I LOVE beets, and I will definitely be back for these! The Pizza was excellent also. Everything tasted very fresh. We finished with some very tasty and refreshing sorbet. Service was great. The only request we would have is for some authentic Italian music to dine by.
google avatar

Yelp
J & I only shared an antipasta board and it was excellent. The eggplant, fried squash, chz & meats were excellent. Generous portion. Pretty good cocktails as well. Really excited to try it again and order more offerings from the menu. My bar service was top notch. Table service was mixed. Our Server had a lot of tables and it was busy.

Laura A.

Yelp
The food was really good! We did not have a reservation, so we had to wait about 45 minutes for a seat at the bar. (Which is exactly what the hostess predicted.) I like that they take reservations for the tables and use a waitlist for walk ins to be seated at the bar. We actually really liked sitting at the bar! The bartenders were friendly, attentive and made excellent drinks! Beware though, they keep the lights really low so be sure to bring your reading glasses! lol
google avatar

Nibuz E.

Yelp
Bar Corallini is first and foremost, a gem. The taste and quality if great Italian food, without all the unnecessary gimmicks or feeling like a good food experience is only for the elites. Been here a few times, got something new each time (dessert notwithstanding because I can't not get the uh-mazing cannoli!), and have always left full, satisfied, and wishing I could fit more in my stomach! Friendly waitstaff, chill and roomy atmosphere, Bar Corallini is a Madison must! The only thing that I think isn't top tier is the drinks..but hey, that's an easy trade for the best Italian in Mad-Town!
google avatar

Tony W.

Yelp
Great service and explanation of menu options. We had the speciality pasta which was a double ravioli. It was delicious in a great sauce. We have been a few times while in town visiting and the pasta is the next we've ever had (and that is coming from an Italian family who make their own pasta). Highly recommended!

Yelp
Come for the happy hour, stay for the ricotta. A quaint and whimsical spot nestled in the eccentric Atwood neighborhood, we went to celebrate a recent promotion at work and try their happy hour, which is Sunday through Thursday 4pm - 6pm and ordered Spritz for $6 and shared a Quattro pizza. The ricotta stole the show, it was slightly sweet. A lovely, upscale eatery surrounded by cash only bars, it's a great place to start your night.

Yelp
Solid four star place. Super cute decor, takes reservations, and overall vibe is on point. My friend and I ordered the antipasto board, eggplant fritters, warm olives, and the muffuletta. Now, I know I only have 2 pictures on here and that is because everything came out and looked so delicious that the phone couldn't eat first. We just dove head first in, so here are the highlights: - MUFFULETTA: if there is one thing to take from this review it is that you MUST try the muffuletta. It is everything you could ever want in a sandwich. Warm bread with the perfect amount of crunch and softness with the spice from the meat, cream from the aioli, and crunch from the peppers. It is incredible and alone worth 5 stars, but then the nice citrus salad on the side perfectly balances it out even more and it just overall is an incredible meal. - whistle pig whiskey drink: 1000% worth the price tag, and it's a hefty one at $16, but seriously worth every penny. The flavors perfectly compliment one another and it just a fantastic drink Everything else was good, except the charcuterie board which overall was just bland. No nuts or honey or jam, but also no pepper or spice so it all just seemed pretty neutral. Won't be ordering it again even tho the presentation was great. All in all, will be back and this place is definitely worth a date night! Happy eating!

Yelp
First experience at Bar Corallini for me. Were surprised to find the parking lot already full at 430pm, so had to find street parking. As a table of 10 they squeezed us into a round table that really should be meant for 8 max, as we had no elbow room, but we made it work. Every single dish and cocktail was thoughtfully crafted, pleasing to both the eyes and the stomach. You can tell the items were made from scratch and they take real pleasure in their work. The appetizer board was a lot of mushy vegetables and super spicy pepperoni, I think that's the only item I would not order again.

Yelp
We got the pasta off the vegan menu it was so yummy!! The mezze maniche was the favorite. Honestly wouldnt have been able to tell it wasnt vegan

Yelp
Wow! We've been hoping to stop by here for a long time but we've been so busy and so has Bar Corallini! 5 stars for service, atmosphere, and amazing food and drinks! Our server was super helpful with suggestions and recommendations. We ordered cocktails, apps, entrees and dessert. I saw they have special house infusions - the Blackberry infused Tito's sound excellent, I asked if I could get that in one of their house cocktails and the bartender made it happen! Caipiroska with blackberry Tito's! Yum. We enjoyed the Gnocco Fritto - an excellent, well balanced appetizer with delicious bread, prosciutto, tomatoes, burrata, provolone and more. Everything you love about meat, cheese, and bread all on one plate. For entrees, we had the 8 Finger Cavatelli and the Chicken Picatta. Bellisimo! The cavatelli was creamy with perfect noodles, just the right amount of seafood flavor. We finished the night off with an affogato and a cannolo. The espresso with vanilla gelato was wonderful, and the cannolo was unique and flavorful with a strong orange taste. Excellent all around!! We can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Was very cute inside. I had a Negroni sbagliato and the calzone, both were delicious! Staff was friendly and prompt. A great place for a quiet little date night

Yelp
Relatively authentic, tasty Italian food in a smart polished package with the prices to match. If that sounds good to you you'll probably like this restaurant. The place is casual and friendly, and the pasta and specials definitely hit the spot with rich but simple flavors. I like the rigatoni Bolognese, and the canolli was hand filled and very, very good. My expectations were high with all the hype around this place, but they were met.

Yelp
Nice interior but your typical overpriced Italian place that serves bland pasta. Better for brunch than dinner.

Yelp
Bar Corallini is easily my favorite Italian spot in town. You start the night with a fantastic classic Italian cocktail selection. As someone who is both gluten and dairy free, they are SO accommodating from the appetizer course through dessert. My friends ordered the Antipasti Board. Given I am gluten and dairy free, I expected to just snack on the charcuterie and vegetables. To my surprise, the server offered to bring sides of gluten free bread and vegan ricotta. My favorite dish is their vegan cacio e pepe, which is made using their house-made vegan ricotta (which is a slam dunk even just on a piece of bread). Their vegan offerings have to be the best I've found both in a restaurant and at the grocery store. I love to end the night with a chocolate affogato (they use chocolate sorbet) or the house-made limoncello. I truly have no complaints!

Yelp
Great cocktails and tasty dishes. Over ordered and leftover pasta was still great the next day.

Yelp
I hate writing this review because I had such high hopes. It has been on my list to try for so long. We made a reservation for a Tuesday night and I'm so glad we did because it was so busy at 6pm. It only seemed to get busier, even after the happy hour ended at 6 - all great signs going in. Other great things included the cocktail, beer/wine, spirits, etc list - so much to choose from making it easy for my fiancé and I to choose a drink. We were sat at our table on time, and were offered a large booth for just the two of us. The food is what really disappointed and let us down... the whipped ricotta appetizer on ciabatta was tasty, but our pastas were very subpar from what we expected. The shrimp cavatelli smelled SO unbelievably fishy, almost as if the shrimp were old. The lack of freshness really showed in this dish. We did appreciate the texture and perfect doneness of the noodles though. Our second dish, mezze maniche genovese, was unbelievably bland for a dish that's base is carmelized onions... I hate to say it almost tasted like the sauce was just carmelized onions tossed in milk, barely seasoned, with a little pork added. The noodles in this dish were also nothing special. We ended up only eating about 1/3 of each of our pastas before deciding to get the check... If I went back, I'd try to the pizza and simpler pasta dishes. After being told time and time again that we needed to try Bar Corallini, we left so upset and thankful a gift card was used for the meal. Giving a 3 star instead of 2 because the service was great, and the overall restaurant was clean and had great ambiance.

Yelp
One of my favorites in Madison. I love the Atwood neighborhood and this spot fits in perfectly. The decor and atmosphere is awesome, trendy, cool, etc. All the drinks are tasty and the service is outstanding. I always get the 8 finger Cavatelli! Delicious and the walnuts add another layer of flavor. Love it here and can't recommend highly enough.

Yelp
One word: WOW! I made reservations a few days before which were easy to get. Inside is super trendy and makes you feel like you're stepping into an interior designers trendy hangout with patterned walls. The food is SO GOOD. I got the 8 finger cavatelli which was OUT OF THIS WORLD. the pasta and shrimp were cooked perfectly with creamy sauce underneath. Walnuts were a nice surprise I didn't know I needed and added crunch! I would love to come back and try their boards. 10/10

Yelp
If you haven't tried this place yet you definitely should. It's such a cute space off of Atwood. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The decor was so cute and the staff was friendly. My favorites was the Antipasti Board and the Cacio E Pepe. Everything on the board was delicious and it was served with warm bread that was soft but the crust had the perfect crunch. I loved the whipped ricotta cheese. I'll definitely have to look for that in the stores. The Cacio E Pepe was simple yet full of flavor. It was creamy and so delicious. The Rigatoni Alla Bolognese was also really good. It was creamy and the meat sauce was perfect. I would probably pass on the chicken piccata and the salmon. The chicken dish was a tad salty and I would have liked to see it served with possibly pasta instead of the salad. That would have probably helped it. The salmon was good but the pasta that came with it did not have enough favor in my opinion. Overall, I would go back.
