10 out of 10. The service, atmosphere, food, and drinks are as good as it gets. Our server, Tyler, was one of the best servers I've ever come across. We can't wait to come back here and I'm telling my Plano friends to check this spot out. I recommend the salmon cakes, short rib croquettes, steak tips & mac n' cheese, grilled Atlantic salmon, kiss from a rose, veggie sandwich (seriously), and the Scottish gentleman so far. We can't wait to come back. Very impressive. 👏

We recently dined here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were very impressed! We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The food and drinks were excellent, service was great and ambiance was warm and inviting! The decor is beautiful and they actually grow fresh herbs onsite. Our server (Kenneth) did a fine job and made sure we were well taken care of. If you’re looking for a nice, upscale American cuisine restaurant, be sure to check out Bavette Grill. I recommend the short rib croquettes, salmon cakes, and the salmon nut berry salad.

This place is fantastic. The aesthetic of the interior was beautiful and well put together. Ethan is the manager, and he was so accommodating to my family and our dog we had with us. They set us up out on the patio; had a water bowl ready for our dog. Kenneth was our server, and he was so kind & personal! We had the short rib croquettes as an appetizer; fantastic! Definitely order those and try them! We ordered the redfish &shrimp, chicken sandwich, burger, & pork wrapped medallions. My family and I were so busy enjoying our meal, we were not talking to each other! This place is amazing. Everything is so fresh and even the ketchup is homemade?? Unbelievable. You have got to come check them out! They offer so many gluten free options as well! We will be back. Thank you Ethan & Kenneth for the wonderful experience!

This was an excellent experience for us. Dinner was superb and dessert was decadent. Everything was well thought out and delicious. Service was amazing. The chef is also excellent and very personable. If I lived in the area, I would eat here very regularly. Just go in and see, it's worth it.

Hidden Gem Near Blue Mesa – A Must-Visit! This quiet restaurant is a breath of fresh air—literally. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with a calming, spa-like scent that instantly sets the tone. The ambiance is warm and peaceful, with mood lighting and beautiful plant accents that create a serene atmosphere. Their chicken sandwich is hands-down the best I’ve ever had—but be warned, it’s only available after 3 PM on their dinner menu. My husband is completely hooked on their French dip, and I can’t blame him. What really sets this place apart is their commitment to quality over quantity. Every sauce is made in-house, and you can taste the difference. You can tell they truly take pride in every dish they serve. Conveniently located off 121/Dallas Parkway near Blue Mesa, this spot is absolutely worth the stop.

I stopped by Bavette Grill for lunch and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Atlantic salmon with mashed potatoes and shrimp, Pasta Primavera and every bite was absolutely perfect. A solid 10/10. The hibiscus drink was okay, refreshing but nothing too standout. There was a small mix-up with my mashed potatoes (I was initially served the version with bacon instead of the one without), but the staff handled it with so much care. Chef Mauricio personally came out, apologized sincerely and made sure my order was corrected quickly. That kind of attention really stood out and meant a lot. *chef kiss* The ambience of the restaurant is also really lovely and aesthetically pleasing. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

I don’t know why it took us so long to come here but all we can say is WOW. the amazing service started from the moment I called to see if there was a wait on the patio. The gentleman was so sweet to check for us and said he could seat us soon if we could get there in 10 min. We took more like 20 but when we arrived, not only did he remember me from the phone call, but he took us to the best seat on the patio, right next to the fireplace. We were weird and wanted the fireplace to be turned on in 70 degree weather and he made it happen. Megan, our server, was phenomenal and she took the time to explain everything in the menu while also pointing out some recommendations. We basically ordered everything she suggested and it did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious! Then to our surprise, a complimentary chocolate mousse. We regret not coming here sooner. We already can’t wait to go back. Oh, and the gluten-free selection beats all the other surrounding restaurants and beyond!! I can’t recommend this place enough! We will be back!

First time here and completely hooked! We loved the professional service and beautiful atmosphere! We started with the yummy bar service! Had a special of the day with cucumber vodka mix. So refreshing! Followed by the delicious meatball appetizers. For our main course we enjoyed the steak salad and top notch burger. Ended with an interesting and tasty shot of cinnamon roll cojito! Omg! So so amazing! This restaurant is a sister of EG steakhouse! We will definitely be back! Thank you Alex for taking care of us!

I had a great experience at Bavette Grill. The service was great, and our server made recommendations and clarified any questions we had about the menu. The food came out at reasonable times. I believe that the food and drinks were reasonably priced and were less expensive compared to other similar restaurants in the area. Nice ambiance. Great for a date night or to catch up with family and friends. We got the Short Rib Croquettes, Side Salad, Chili Glazed Chicken, Short Rib Steak, and Atlantic Salmon. All of which were delicious and well seasoned. I was worried that the chicken would be spicy, but it wasn't! The portions were perfectly sized and we left without leftovers! The bread pudding was yummy but I've honestly had better. Was upset that it didn't come with ice cream on top but instead came with whipped cream. As for parking, there's plenty of lot parking.

Bavette grill is an upscale new American cuisine restaurant in west Plano. Service was prompt and professional Their estilo gaucho salad was very good. It wasn't crowded: pretty much nobody was there at the time..(5p on a Tuesday ) but very few restaurants are busy that time of week. I think I may try this place again with friends one evening.

My Mom and I were running late for our 12:30PM reservation, so I called the restaurant to inform them of our 15-minute delay. Rebecca was very kind, courteous, understanding, and professional, told me not to worry and that she would inform the hostess of our slightly delayed arrival. When we walked in, we were greeted by Ethan with a smile and shown to our table. As first-time visitors, we were wowed by the phenomenal food, the ideal portions, impeccable service, vibrant energy, cool vibe, and beautiful ambiance. The song choice was solid too! We enjoyed it all. Our server, Aylin, suggested several Menu items and was attentive without being intrusive, engaging, and receptive - made sure we had what we needed and checked on us during our meal which we appreciated. She also mentioned Wine Dinners, Tastings, and other Specials she felt we would be interested in. I loved her energy and enthusiasm. We will make sure to request her again on our next visit. We ordered the "Sweet Dreams" and "Come Fly With Me" Cocktails. Clearly, only the freshest ingredients are used in the preparation of their handcrafted cocktails. Both invigorated our taste buds and had just the right balance of flavor and intensity. Additionally, Aylin brought still water - per our request - to the table. The Tomato Basil Soup lent a harmonizing, creamy, savory, sweet, richness, depth, and well-balanced flavor. It was an absolute delight for our palate. The Chicken Club was comprised of French Bread with layers of tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, flavorful high-quality meat that melded together beautifully with mayo and garden pesto. The Fries were a true standout. I love that they are small, thin, well-seasoned, and plentiful. With the garlic herb salt they use, it is no wonder these little numbers are so addictive. The BVT Steak was most noteworthy, however, and undoubtedly the star of the show. THE most succulent, tender cut of meat I have ever had. It was well-marbled and provided that texture and depth of flavor that far exceeded my expectations. The Balsamic Glaze imparted a distinct flavor and complemented the steak remarkably well. It was also perfectly cooked to my liking (medium-well). Every bite was pure heaven. The Cream Cheese filled Peppadew Pepper was a nice touch and further enhanced the taste of the steak by way of a smoky, sweet flavor. The Pistachio Tres Leches Cake was the perfect conclusion to our meal. The creamy mouthfeel, spongy texture, and a nutty crunch to top it all off was the ideal accompaniment to the Coquito - which came highly recommended by Aylin and which she so delectably described as liquid dessert- and it did not disappoint. Props to the owners, management, and Chef. Five Star Meal all around. All dishes excellent! We will be back! They even have a Hydroponic Garden on their patio and all sauces are made-in-house. Pretty much all items are (or can be modified to be) Gluten-Free. It's more than just being healthy or trendy; it's a lifestyle - and Bavette Grill hit it out of the park!

Love this spot! Everything is fresh they have no freezers or microwaves. The quality of food is top notch. The service was incredible as well... went in New Years Eve daytime... so wasn't busy which is perfect for me. Loved the ambiance and a very welcoming staff and vibe. Excellent experience. Cheers.

So we stumbled upon this place at Granite Park (on the far end next to mesa grill). The decor was clean and classy and ambiance was cool, inviting, and relaxing. They have a nice air conditioned outdoor patio which features a fireplace and outdoor couches and lots of dining tables. They grow their herbs/lettuce in a hydroponic like structure that you can observe from the patio. This is a very neat place to come with friends or date night. Not kid friendly as they don't have high chairs, kids menus, or changing tables. If you have kids beware. As for the food, after reading the reviews I was so excited to come try it. I was underwhelmed with the flavors. The steak in my mac and cheese had an overpowering flavor and sauce to me and it was not that tender. My husband got the steak sandwich which he said was good but not worth the price. I do think the dishes are overpriced for the flavor. All in all, I would personally just come here for a happy hour drink and the ambiance. oh and the service, everyone was superb and one of the most attentive staff i've seen.

Really enjoyed this concept - beautiful atmosphere at a reasonable price. Steak was cooked perfectly. The Brussels sprouts were tasty although I prefer a slightly lighter glaze myself.

I got the butcher burger with fries ($17.99) for takeout during lunch. It was a little over 20-minute wait and the host was very accommodating providing water. The burger was excellent-- very juicy and the sauce was amazing. It was one of the best burger I had in a while. The truffle fries were also very crispy and good. I would go back for a special occasion as it looked like a fancy restaurant!

Bavette was great! I had their deviled eggs and steak with mac'n'cheese. Food was delicious and service was great. Loved the ambiance as well.

Loved this restaurant! First time to enjoy great atmosphere and great food. This place is so beautiful and design seemed well thought out. After enjoying our dinner we retired to the sofa and fireplace in the inside patio/hydroponic herb garden for a cocktail. We were touched by two visits from both the Brazilian chef and manager and our waitress was very attentive. Reservations are necessary because it gets busy. We definitely recommend the beefy French Dip and Short Rib Steak both perfectly cooked. Kiss From A Rose cocktail was both fragrant and very yummy!!! Same for Cone fly With Me.

I saw the good reviews so I went to try an item. The short rib croquettes were solid but not amazing. I thought the idea was unique but I don't think I'd order it again. 7/10. I also had the fries and they were very lackluster. A bit too salty for the texture 3/10. I haven't tried any of the main dishes yet so I'd be ok with coming back and trying one of those to see if it changes my opinion.

The food was so good I ate it too fast to snag a photo. The vibe was casual and intimate, perfect for a date night. The service was stellar, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was so tasty. We shared the deviled eggs, the EVOO add on gave it a tasty earthy balance. I had the chef's special of flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce and loaded whipped potatoes, it was perfectly prepared with a tender steak. The potatoes were creamy and so tasty. My husband loved his burger and the fries are in my top 5 of fries of all time. Absolutely recommend.

This place was delicious! We were in town and wanted to try somewhere new. Our server was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was not busy but the music and open kitchen made it feel pretty lively.

Easily one of my favorite spots in the area. I've been coming to Bavette for a couple of years and I've never had a bad or even mediocre meal. The food here is elevated, and the ingredients are top notch. They grind their own beef and grow their own herbs. Everything is made from scratch and the service meets the food. Shoutout to Kenneth, who's always sweet and funny. This is a great date night spot, and the ambiance is very inviting and intimate. Love this place, and highly recommend it!

Bavette is always a good choice! The steak tips Mac n cheese is borderline life changing. Nicole was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed without being overly intrusive. We had our Christmas lunch there, we were never rushed and we stayed for quite some time chatting after our dessert. The chocolate cheesecake is a MUST try!

What a pleasant surprise! I came here for lunch with a good friend and we really enjoyed our lunch. Service was fast. The restaurant is very cute. The bathroom was super clean and decorated. They even had mouthwash. We started off with spinach dip. YUM! Then both got salads. The salmon nuttyberry had so much flavor. The steak for the steak salad was seasoned to perfection. It was cooked medium rare. We were so full and happy when we were done eating. I definitely want to return to this place. Prices are a little higher than average, but we were not disappointed.

Food was amazing and I really enjoyed the space!! Will be returning when I'm back in town

I finally got to try this place! We were greeted by the host and hostess when we first walked in. They were so friendly! The restaurant is beautiful. We sat in a lovely booth. Alejandro was very attentive in serving us. We got the BVT steak which was delicious. We loved the French fries and the Mac n cheese too. The salted caramel tiramisu was outstanding! I love the upscale/laid back feel. The staff really makes you feel comfortable. They know what they are doing at this place. Can't wait to go back!

The food and the service were perfection!! We accidentally stayed until after closing but the staff didn't even bat an eye and let us enjoy our dinner and drinks until we were done, never felt rushed. I can't recommend this place enough!! Definitely will come back.

Absolutely wonderful experience for lunch. The ambiance is perfect and a patio of greenery. They are all fresh, no freezer here. Their hydroponic herb garden on the patio is a great addition. The French Dip was amazing! Fries are so flavorful and my husband declared it was the best burger he's ever had. It's so nice to find a place that sources only fresh food and truly cares about service. We will be back!

My wife was craving steak and we were tired of the same old usual go to and wanted to try something different. That's when we this hidden gem, Everything was spectacular the food the service the ambiance. Our waiter Rob awesome guy. Definitely will revisit soon.

From the moment we walked in, until the time we left. The staff were so attentive. Rob was our server, he knows his stuff! I asked what he recommended and he didn't disappoint! The food is great, the ambiance is perfect. Great for date night or a special occasion. This place is a hidden gem. I really love how they have it set up. It gives a cozy feel to it. This is the burger to beat! I have searched and searched and finally found the one! Would drive over an hour to enjoy this perfect burger!!

The service was excellent, our waiter patient and attentive to us. The ambiance of the place was also a very nice, warm surprise. However, we left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed, especially for the price we paid. I ordered the steak tips and mac, but unfortunately the flavor of the steak was just too overbearing. I brushed it off as being well-seasoned, but the last few bites I managed tasted just too salty. My boyfriend's french dip was nothing special, especially for being priced at $25. On a separate note, the bread pudding we had at the end of our dinner was amazing. I would recommend this place for the atmosphere and service, but I would not recommend the steak tips and mac or the French dip.

Really fabulous service for a mid-priced place. The French dip is hands-down the best I've ever had. It's a great value if you want a bite of their steak but cannot spend for the whole thing. The meat on this sandwich is very generous. Their pork chop is ALSO the best we've ever had. We still talk about it!!!

I can't believe I just discovered this hidden gem! 10/10 experience for real. For starters, they had a complimentary wine tasting last night and we tried 5 wines-all of them were really nice. For my meal, I tried the Short Rib Croquettes and they were AMAZING!! I also got the Butcher Burger and y'all- it was sooo good, the fries that it comes with were so crispy and well seasoned. It's such a cute place inside but we sat on the patio, which was also really cute. And lastly, the service is really really great! I can't wait to go back!

Great American bistro! Our server Michelle was fantastic! The food was delicious and well cooked. We sat inside but the outside patio had a cool fireplace. Would recommend trying it at least once!

This place is cute. I really like the vibes and the ambiance they have going on here. It's really cute for a date night or just a chill get together with friends. Came here and tried a few different things (after looking at all the photos on yelp of course) Started with the short rib croquettes. These were....interesting. I'm not sure how to take them. They weren't nasty, in fact they were full of flavor and the meat was tender for sure. But the texture was a little strange for me. It gave off a boiled meat feel. Not sure exactly. You should definitely try them if you are interested- they just weren't for me. The Caesar salad was amazing! Delicious and refreshing and could tell the dressing was homemade. The steak and Mac and cheese was good. I will say it was kind of rich We also had the ribs. The brine and rub on them were very good and flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were delish! The cream corn was AMAZING! I do not even like corn but this was so good! We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and insightful. We did feel a little rushed but I understand this was a bartender and not a waiter so they tend to move differently Overall this place was pretty good. I will be back for sure

Our first time at this restaurant, we were celebrating our anniversary and I just wanted a quite nice place. It really didn't disappoint. You can make reservation through its website and they asked you if you are celebrating anything. Soo many restaurants ask, but they don't really do anything, which makes you wonder why do they bother to ask in the first place. But Bavette Grill was different, after we were greeted, the host wished us happy anniversary, and left a card on our table, towards the end of the meal the waiter just offered to compliment our dessert even before we said anything, and through out dinner everyone was very attentive and courteous. The place is cozy and tastefully decorated, not very busy for a Saturday night so I really hope they can stay around. Food was great and prices are what you would expect from a place like this. Kudos to their attention to details and making their customers feel special!

It was amazing I can't say enough about this place. Such a pleasant surprise to have an adult place with not a menu that's over-the-top that you can sit listen and talk to your party. Don't have to scream or shout. The food was excellent and this is now on our list as our go to place. We will going here at least once a month or even more.

First look, atmosphere was gorgeous. Our server, Alejandro took great care of us. I ordered a steak salad. The steak in it had a great flavor and the dressing was delicious and subtle. The reason we went, was they have many gluten free options. My daughter had gluten free fried chicken sandwich and mac and cheese. Amazing! I highly recommend this place.

We wanted someplace different; preferably French, quiet, and relaxing, to celebrate our anniversary. We had just moved to the area and had a few favorite places, most of which were quite loud and sometimes chaotic. We even went to the top-rated French restaurant previously, but found it ear-splittingly loud, with extremely slow service, high prices, and only adequate food. This place, however, was perfect! It was tastefully decorated, low-key ambiance, with pleasing background music, dim lighting, comfortable seating (even a throw pillow in the booths for extra comfort!), attentive wait staff, and truly excellent food. To start, we shared the indescribably delicious short rib croquettes. There were three on a platter, and had a unique blend of flavors. They were generously sized, but we finished them quickly. I had looked at the menu on their website prior, and thought I wanted a Croque Monsieur, but wasn't too disappointed that it wasn't on the menu. Instead, I got the French Dip. Rather than the stringy, gristly slices of beef I've had in other places, this was a fresh French roll stuffed with large nuggets of tender, juicy, , perfectly done beef, with just the right amount of tangy horseradish sauce. Additionally, the sandwich was bias cut, to make it easier to dip the corner into the accompanying au jus. It came with their wonderful, skinny, crisp, and perfectly seasoned fries. My partner had the Butcher Burger, and said it was thick, tasty, and delicious. I had iced tea, and rather than serving it in small juice glasses ;as did the "top-rated" French restaurant, this was in a proper tall iced tea glass, which was refilled constantly, without my having to ask. My partner had a lemonade, which was also good, and also replaced with a new glass when empty; but, there is a per-drink charge for the lemonade, unlike the tea. For dessert we chose the dark chocolate cheesecake, which was unique, smooth, and delicious, sprinkled with candied toffee pieces. I would highly recommend this place for a definitely upscale experience, excellent food, great ambiance, excellent food, and reasonable prices.

we ate there with a party of five. The food was delicious, the drinks were very tasty and the service was excellent. The staff was very attentive in keeping our water glasses filled. I ate the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Happy hour is between 3 and 6 PM. During that time drink price are very reasonable.

We visited Bavette sometime ago, but it was excellent! I don't remember our server's name, but he was great. He was knowledgeable (told us about off-menu items), attentive, personable and funny. The ambiance was nice even if it was a bit on the dark side for my taste. I prefer lots of light. It was so dark that I had to use my phone's flashlight in order to read the menu. That aside, it was clean, modern and comfortable. The food was excellent. While we love bacon, it was not obvious at the time of ordering that almost every dish we ordered contained bacon. The short rib croquettes were awesome. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were well seasoned and was accompanied by a sweet chili sauce. The sauce was so good that I bought a pint to take back home. Unfortunately, TSA burst my bubble when they confiscated it. The candied bacon was yummy. I'm not sure candied bacon is the official name for the dish, however. The bacon wrapped jalapeños and deviled eggs (they're topped with bacon) were delicious! Even our side of brussels had bacon. The steak was good from what I remember. We were so stuffed by the end, I don't know why we ordered dessert. The bread pudding was ok. Being from New Orleans, I've had much better bread pudding. I don't remember how the flourless chocolate cake tasted, though. Overall, we can't wait to return.

So I was here on business and ate here multiple times it was so good. The salmon cakes are amazing and so were the deviled eggs. I had the BVT steak and fries, it was delicious but a little sweet. The peppercorn steak was a special item and it was the best. Service was impeccable and I will 100% be back when I'm in town.

Wow, this place was fantastic! We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop for lunch and a drink at the bar. I got their burger (3 types of meat ground into the patty) and it was delicious!. It came with thin "string" fries, which I usually don't like at all, but these were done so very well. My wife got the chicken cobb salad and it was amazing, the chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. See my pictures. We had Ethan as a bartender and he was the BEST! He's a great guy and a great bartender. My hats off to the staff at the Bavette Grill, everyone was wonderful.

We have eaten here 2 nights in a row. The food is fresh and fantastic. We came with a group of people with very different tastes. We left with a happy group of people who raved about the food. High recommend. Very close in proximity to the Hilton Plano.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and the outside patio has a hydroponic garden. The patio is winter friendly, and you can sit outside without being cold. It gave you a very nice "garden" effect. The food was spectacular; out of this world! Best onion soup; I've eat in my life; it was rich and beefy! French dip sandwich was delicious and the passion fruit cheesecake was soft, creamy and light! service was great too! superb!

Hubby and I went to Bavette Grill today for lunch and were in love. He had been there before, but I had not. Everything from the start was delightful. The manager greeted us and escorted us to our table and our server was so sweet and on top of it. The "fried" chicken is breaded in tapioca flour; making it inherently GF. It was delicious. Hubby got the 50 day flat iron steak, not pictured, and it was so tender! We also got the short rib croquettes and they just fell apart. To die for! You can always tell a place is top-notch when a restaurant's espresso martini is delicious. The manager was informing us that the owner also owns EG Steakhouse. The ambiance and decor really took it to the next level. I highly recommend going if you get the chance. A 5 experience.

What an adorable place we found thanks to Yelp. We don't venture this way much, but we were at a doctors appointment and I asked Yelp for spinach/artichoke dip near me. This was the first place that came up. Reviews were great. Pictures of the food looked delicious. So we decided to come try it. The waiter introduced himself as being from Turkey and he was attentive and knowledgeable. Although he "liked/recommend"THE MOST EXPENSIVE item in EVERY category on the menu as his favorite whatever. So either we had the bougiest waiter, OR he was trying to get the check up up up. We took his suggestions and the cocktail and wine were delightful. Spinach dip did not have artichokes, and the reason we went, but did not disappoint! Best chicken dish I've had in a very long time. My husband got the surf & turf and was so disappointed with the aged beef, which is their signature, our dogs ate very well tonight. Would we go back, ABSOLUTELY!
