The Best Microbreweries Near Montreal | Eater Montreal

"Touting itself as a nanobrasserie — it is smaller in scale than many other establishments referring to themselves as microbreweries — this couple-run restaurant and brewery just celebrated its sixth anniversary. Offering six different beers ranging from hefeweizen to NEIPA, in addition to a well-rounded menu heartily supplied by their on-site garden, they’ve assured us that live shows will be back on once the words “social distancing” are no longer part of our vocabulary." - Daniel Bromberg

Where to Eat in the Eastern Townships | Eater Montreal

"Having recently celebrated its sixth anniversary, this quiet roadside café and nanobrasserie run by couple Éloïse Comtois Mainville and Ludovic Bastien has a small, flavour-packed menu featuring items such as a pork-beat burger, falafel, trout gravlax, and just about all vegetables coming from the adjacent garden. With six different beers on tap, alongside a fruity rhubarb lemonade, this is exactly the kind of place to go to slow down and soak it all in." - Daniel Bromberg

We were recommended to try this place by someone who lives in the eastern townships so we were very excited to dine here. We had an early dinner for my husband’s birthday. It’s super rustic with a farm to table concept. The food was very fresh and tasty. Drinks were good. We could see the farms with the produce growing, from the terrace where we were seated. Service was professional.

Went there in March on a drive along the border. The server was friendly and smiling. The local beer was excellent. I had the pork/beetroot burger, which was fine, but nothing extraordinary. The meatball was a bit small in my opinion, and I found the burger a bit dry. The homemade bunn was a nice touch, but it was not freshly made, and I think it would have been better, if it had been heated before serving. For dessert I had an espresso and a slice of brownie. The brownie was pretty disappointing - cold since it came straight out of the refrigerator, and it seemed dry, so probably a few days old. The espresso was good though. I am sure the atmosphere would be great here on a summer evening with friends and some musicians playing.

Lovely place, wonderful people, nice food both tasty and health. The pull-pork burger was very good, including the homemade bums.

Ate on the back deck on a lovely day. Had the falafel which was cold and not great . Really can't remember much about the meal. Only restaurant in town open on a Monday so we were grateful to find it.

Cool, hippie chic brewpub in an old house. It fits like a glove in picturesque Frelishburg. Seems to double as a concert space too. Small menu of locally sourced food (I even saw the waitress head outside and come back with lettuce from the garden). We had the nachos with marinated beets (they seem to really love beets, it's in everything), it was delicious. They had a few house brews, we enjoyed the pilsner and session IPA, and the black velvet, made with their stout and a local cider, was excellent. They offered growlers and cans to go. Service was typical quirky but friendly. The waitress threw us a little shade for asking for extra napkins (she thought one napkin for 3 people was enough) but we laughed it off. Glad we checked them out.

The food is SIMPLY delicious. I had the pork hamburger and my girlfriend a magnificent Salad. I strongly recommend this place, it's owned by 2 young people. Located in Frelishburg

Delicious sausages with salade and limonade for only 13$ per person tip included! Nice and cozy place. Not the cleanest restaurant thought! The terrace was nice but I wouldn't eat inside for example. It was not very organized.
