13 Stellar Beer Bars to Hit in Portland | Eater Portland

"An off-shoot of the Horse Brass, this taproom and bottle shop is a must-visit for fans of imported beers. One side is devoted to the 1,200-plus bottle selection, including national and international brews, while the other side is an industrial, comfortable tap house with a rotating selection of beers that often can’t be found elsewhere in town. It also has some other imported treats including English candies." - Alex Frane

Google
The best beer bottle and tap house in Portland. Outstanding selection of hard to find bottled beers. About 25 taps with an excellent variety of beers and ciders. IPAs do not dominate like most other places. You’ll find Belgians, barrel aged stouts, Pilsners and many more styles. How refreshing! They also have an enclosed and heated patio with a bathroom. A great space with lots of natural light to enjoy your beer and perhaps a great burger from the excellent food truck permanently on site. With enough notice, you can even have small events in that patio area and the staff is always supportive and helpful. The background music was also well loved!

Google
They always have a great beer selection! Been coming here for about 15 years. Their continuing improvements make it even better. You can have a pint and hang out in the bar or back patio or take some great beer to go from the attached store. Highly recommend.

James Richard

Google
Enjoyed a few obscure beers on the quaint back patio. Nice bartender. I forgot her name but she was working Thursday (6/5/25) at 3:30 pm and was very hospitable. Can’t wait to get back soon!

Greg Davis

Google
Always a great tap list and takeaways options! Monster Smash is delicious as well.

Daniel Kidwell

Google
Great selection of local beers and ciders and that are unavailable most places. I’d have given 5 stars if the website reflected what was in stock and not just what they carry when they can get it. I went there to get a few specific items that weren’t available at that time. Had the website been a “live list” this wouldn’t have been an issue. None the less, I’m glad in part because I wouldn’t have gone there had the list been up to date.

Judy

Google
Outstanding selection of beers, outstanding service, inviting space to sip and savor. I'm particularly impressed by the complex variety of choices paired with staff who know the products!

Debra Lentz

Google
There's both a store and a bar here. Seating is limited. No real options for food, but there's a food truck in the rear. The selection of beers, ciders, kombucha, and NA options is nearly overwhelming! I can't imagine anyone not finding something to their taste. Parking is very scarce, this being in a residential area near a major hospital. Much better for walkers.

Nathan Miller

Google
I happened to visit for both the bar and the bottle shop on separate occasions on the same trip! Both are 5/5 stars. The bottle shop has a huge selection, while the bar has a few dozen options on tap in all varieties. The seating area is great too, even in winter. Excellent all around!

Yelp
Relaxing neighborhood pub/bottle shop with a ton of options, both on tap and in the bottle. As a tourist to Portland, I especially appreciated how many selections were local and new to me, and how it was possible to get smaller glasses of most beers. Also has a great cider and NA selection. Service was kind, prices were reasonable, and the food truck was satisfying with vegan options. Would definitely be there all the time if I lived nearby.

Yelp
As craft beer lovers, Belmont Station was at the tippity top of our list during our vacation in Portland. Our expectations were exceeded. Loved how incredibly charming this beer bar is, set in the most quintessential PNW neighborhood. Not only were the bartenders friendly, but fellow patrons were also welcoming. We really enjoyed getting to socialize while enjoying our beers. They have a fantastic selection of beers on draft and an overwhelmingly phenomenal selection of bottled/canned beer that you can take home (we ended up with 6 beers in our suitcase home, although we wished we had room for 30). We also enjoyed tasty burgers & fries from the on-site food truck. I think if we lived in Portland, this would easily be a place we'd frequent each week. Definitely a beer gem in Oregon!

Yelp
The bottle shop has a great selection. The old bitch behind the bar nextdoor has made me never want to return here. I got a few tallboys next door and had time so I popped next door to drink one of them. I sat at a near-empty bar and didn't get help for a few minutes, asked for a pint glass and she came back with a snifter, looked at my can and said "oh you meant a PINT glass." (thats... what i aksed for) I poured my own beer but left a few dollars on the bar as a tip of course. I finished my beer, my glass sat empty for ten minutes, again at a near-empty bar with two bartenders. Finally I was tired of waiting and cracked another of my cans and poured my beer into my old glass and after watching me pour it the older female bartender walked over and asked if I had just opened my beer. I said yes and she started laying into me about how it was against OLCC rules to do that. I didn't know and wasnt getting help! I said Sorry and that I didn't know and she wouldn't let up. She was so unnecessarily upset and rude! I apologized again but she still wouldn't stop telling me that it puts her liquor license in jeopardy. I totally understand how scary that is, and in no way intended to cause trouble. I don't work in a bar and it would be great if next time the professional could check her fear emotions and calmy explain to me what I did wrong and ask me not to do it again. This woman has 20 years on me by the looks of it and communicated like a child throwing a tantrum. Shocking. She needs to learn how to communicate to people that aren't the old white cis male regulars that patron this bar every day. There's a thousand places to buy beer in this town and this IS NOT IT.

Yelp
The selection on tap and shelves is excellent. Service a bit for no reason snobby, a big turn off when you come in for a pint. Divey rundown decor, unique tap handle display of all their past beer, claustrophobic outdoor patio seating. Not a spot for groups, primarily for singles or couples. Single smashburger truck outside.
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
Wow. Exceptional tap list. Ive purchased beer at the bottle shop for 20 years. They now have covered picnic tables and an actual bar. You can buy cans/bottles, have bartender open them and sit outside, or choose from the tap list. As of october 21st it was still fresh hop time and they had a pretty huge selection. They also had 4-5 wild yeasted sours. It might be the best tap list ive seen in years. That 'alesong blending cheers to the land' was amazing. Sour beer with Rubarb! Place is very relaxed, everyone was friendly. Highest recommendation.

Yelp
I was stoked to see a beer joint like this at the end of my street while I stayed in Portland! However, around 4:45pm on a Friday, I did not have a good experience. The bartenders are people you might see bartending on a dock in The Keys in Florida (weirdly unprofessional). The place was sticky and unkempt -- my beer glass was absolutely disgusting. There were over 25 options to choose from and the beer I wanted was tapped out. This happens...so I asked for a recommendation and the beer I was recommended was flavorless. My friend got a sour and it was a diabetic shock with no flavor as well. It took forever to close out and that was irritating. I should have gotten a Monster Smash Burger outside to make this a 3 star experience but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yelp
Belmont Station has a really knowledgeable staff who are usually spot on with recommendations. I always love stopping in at the tap room and trying their features selections. The bottle shop is beer heaven.

Yelp
How did I not know about this place? This is a beer mecca for beer snobs! Beervana is here! I stepped in and there was a rep from Fremont Beer Co., brewers of the always tasty Dark Star, featuring a flight of 4 barrel-aged imperial stouts. The 40-ish taps were filled with interesting options like a squid ink gose. The attached bottle shop doesn't only sell singles fetching extra high prices like others do but also has 4- and 6-packs for regular prices, including Sun River's Chocolate Milk Stout which I'm always on the look out for. Then I walked past the bar out to the back patio, and there is something idyllic going on out there. It was buzzing with locals and just had a lovely, woody vibe. I can tell I'll have happy times there in the future. Can't wait.

Yelp
Always have great ciders and bonus attached to Monster Smash, the only reason I visited this place after they left My oh My.

Yelp
So much beer! What I love about Belmont Station are the coolers divided by type - open this door for sours, this one for IPAs, this one for seasonal batches. On top of that, there are helpful tags indicating things like pumpkin brews in fall, staff favorites, beers with fresh hops, etc. If that isn't enough to help you choose from the hundreds or thousands of beers here you can always ask the staff to help you out as they tend to know their stuff. They get some rare beer drops (like Pliny the Younger from Russian River Brewing) and do different beer related festivals/promotions throughout the year (like Oktoberfest). They also have a front patio and back/downstairs patio with food cart.

Yelp
I didn't know what to expect with Belmont Station. I mean, I didn't know what it was. We just knew that they were a venue that was participating in Portland Beer Week and they were showcasing award-winning beers from the area. Sounded good to me. We visited Belmont Station on a Friday night and the place was super busy! Luckily, we snagged the last table, otherwise, I didn't know where we were gonna sit. They do have some outdoor space, but the space is small. Parking was easily found on the street. Belmont Station had a massive list of beers on tap, which was king. No matter what kind of beer you prefer, there's something for everyone here. And you best believe they had plenty of different IPAs to choose from, which was great for yours truly since IPAs are my favorite kind of beer. Plus, I liked that I could try Oregon beers from small breweries that I had never heard of before, so that was a real treat. As if Portland is lacking in beer spots, Belmont Station certainly has lots and lots of beer to choose from. Yes, you can get different sizes too, making tastings all the more easy. PLUS, I loved seeing how dog-friendly the place was. I dug it.

Yelp
We made a special trip to Belmont Station specifically for DREKKER beer! We have a monthly beer subscription which has introduced us to some amazing beers, and Belmont carries them! So to Portland, we went! Drekker, The Brewing Projekt, Untitled Art, and Humble Forager - to name a few! If you're a sour fan, I recommend checking them out! Great selection. Beats the selection we have in Seattle, that is for sure! The prices are good, and the selection is great! They have cases and cases of all different beer types, not just the sours we were after! Tons of IPAs and Pales! This place is the adult candy store, and I'm into it!

Yelp
The food was in back... in a food truck. Belmont Station is a beer bar & food truck. Really nothing special. Eating at a picnic table is not special. The burger truck burger had a soft soggy bun. Not a pleasant experience although the burger had a very healthy portion of chips

Yelp
Horribly priced beer. You can pay less for craft beer at many other places throughout Portland. This place sells the same stuff at inflated prices.

Yelp
After five years of false starts, I finally made it to Belmont Station. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I started in the taproom side and got to try a bunch of hard to find beers. They have lots of indoor and outdoor room. The bottle shop had a really nice range of options including a lot of great local ciders. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Justin L.

Yelp
My favorite beer bar. World class beer in a laid back environment. I miss Monk's deli but I look forward to trying the smash burger cart. The bottle shop has an amazing selection and the bar always has many tasty beers on tap.
google avatar

Yelp
The only 5 star I have ever given. The choice of beers is amazing. I really enjoy this place, the options available fro nasty double IPAs to smooth rich Stouts, delicious mead and delightful ales if you want a beer and want to be lost in options, this is the best place to start.

Yelp
Everything about this place is word class. I am the bottle shop or BierCafe at least a couple times a week. The staff is super courteous and knowledgeable. In a city with many excellent beer options, Belmont Station rises to the top.
google avatar

Yelp
Some of the best beer selection in town...without the greasy crusts of a place like Horsebrass. This used to be a humble bottle shop, one of the first of its kind. It has expanded steadily to the point where it's now a bar you'd want to hang out in. Staff used to be kind of elitist and snooty. The woman working last night was friendly. (and had an outstanding sense of fashion. I'm not a good judge of fashion though...so take that with a grain of salt) The back patio is woody and cozy. This is/was my favorite place to go after hanging out with the Mazamas. Great memories here. And beer. Great beer. Seriously, you come here for the beer.
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
It's all here, in a small space. A little feel of trying to jam too much in, but wow are there choices here. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, too many questions to ask. And Belmont Station has two heads, the other half being the pub, 32 taps, and such a well-curated selection--probably my second in town, after Apex, which has 50. The back and front spaces are well-windowed and pleasant. No better beer-tenders.
google avatar

Gabe T.

Yelp
Such an awesome place. I was thrilled to see some Maine Beer Company on the menu. I ended up going with a spelt-based ale for a pint outside and was not disappointed. Great store as well, I got a bottle of Hawthorn Berry Mead to take home with me to the east coast. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Tom T.

Yelp
I am giving 5, yes, 5 stars because of the commitment they give to serve beer you cannot have anywhere else. I love winter ales, and so do they. And these specific beers are very assertive in flavour and ABV. Bottled or served on draft. Kick back in the bar area and relax. Food cart in back. ( I didn't pay attention). I mean..Its all about beer. Well I'm a liar because they have mead, ciders, and some wines too. Something for everyone. I have noticed, too, that the staff can be a little fey and distracted sometimes. I got over it. So, I spent a few hours here, on Wi Fi, by myself, on my windows phone, just chillaxin' with a great beer!
google avatar

Yelp
Cool beer bar in Portland they have some solid barrel aged selections and a ton of beer

Yelp
I've been a long time customer of Belmont Station. I remember my first visit and the team that worked there during that time, they all left a lasting impression and helped me grow my knowledge and excitement to craft brews! The team now is equally as amazing and knowledgeable, greeted with excitement each visit and engaged meaningfully with conversation! This place is for sure a one stop shop for anything you might be hunting for.

Yelp
Nicest people work here and beer selection can absolutely not be beat. Store is clean and always stocked.
google avatar

Stormie K.

Yelp
I don't recommend the business today but other days it's been pleasant. We took our family who is in town here today around 3pm and we were disappointed by the bar tender. It appeared the person working behind bar was irritable to have customers as they were short and just rude. Asked for a recommendation and they stated I don't know I'm busy and walked away. Another customer was kind and provided some recommendations. I was embarrassed for the person working. :/
google avatar

Beerboy M.

Yelp
OK, more than past due for an update. Even more taps, and very nice servers now. If not the best selection of beer on tap and in packages, one of the best in Portland and the US. Definitely a place to visit for good beer in the Portland area.
google avatar

Roger M.

Yelp
Beer lover paradise!---1 block walk to woodsy Laurelhurst Park, where you can pass out under a big shade tree after tasting 24 brews on tap in the bar. The bottle store is filed inch by inch with beer selections that'll make your head spin. Friendly pub! Convivial vibe! By 5 PM lots of hop heads crack-a-lackin at the bar smack dab in the neighborhood! Exceptional beer list! We like the IPA (Ecliptic Lupulin Nebula) where the hops are frozen with nitrogen and all the goodness squeezed out as a powder for the freshest hop pint to taste---Lupulin This nitro-powder process is New Wave brewing---so get Ready PDX for more of the same by other brewer's!

Yelp
Being that I'm the newbie to Portland, most all of you probably know about Belmont Station. For the one or two of you that don't, it's a place to pick up great beer. All those large single bottles from all across the area, focusing on the local brews from here and Washington. Although I was surprised to see some Shiner Farmhouse Ale from Texas. One big thing to note, which I'm not sure if it's a Portland thing or just this place. The prices are slightly different depending on if you pay cash or credit/debit. About 20 cents different. I find that odd, but not sure if it's the norm, because I have purchased beer locally and it hasn't happened to me as of yet. Anyway, incredible selection and you could try beers for the next couple of years and not go through what they have there. They also have a "Philly style Italian Market" eatery attached to the place, but I didn't venture in to see what they had. I'm sure cheese steak is on the menu, maybe even pork with broccoli rabe? Enjoy drinking and eating here. I will venture in from time to time, with cash, to pick up a bottle or two to try.
google avatar

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
This experience was a standout as the rudest service I have ever had at a bar or a restaurant. The bartender seemed to go out of his way to treat us badly and his remarks were very offensive to women. The beer is OK but there are so many other breweries and pubs that we will not be going back there. My only confusion is why the owners allow someone with such an obvious dislike for his job to stay employed there.
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Next to Beermongers, Belmont probably has the best tap list we've encountered in Portland thus far. There are always at least two things we want to order. There's lots of seating outside, both in the front and back, so you'll probably be comfortable. EDIT: On a Saturday night, the back biergarten area was completely silent. No music, no white noise, nothing but the awkward low-talking of people. Super awkward. Are they trying to keep people from sitting back here? It's working. My only very small complaint is that the people that are usually working have some sort of grizzled, no-nonsense attitude. It's not rude, it just doesn't make me feel like I want to spend much time around them. We order our beer and head straight to the patio. We'll be back!
google avatar

Ana R.

Yelp
Just like John's Marketplace is the beer temple in SW PDX, Belmont Station is in the SE. This place also carries an insane amount of beer, some obscure as well. The service is great and helpful AND you can also drink in the premises next door where they have a handy bar.
google avatar

Flo R.

Yelp
Staff is very friendly and helpful. No issues going in the back to look for a specific bottle for you. Such a huge assortment of spirits. I come here for a specific bottle of beer for the girlfriend. They have prices for cash vs credit cards as well. Not a big difference if you're only getting a bottle or two. But it's appreciated nonetheless. Come here for hard to find alcohol. They might just have it.

Yelp
OH-MY-CRAFT, the holy Craft grail of take out brew in THE WHOLE CRAFT WORLD (and I should know, I can see all Craft). Make thee a pilgrimage there my Craft children, but be thou warned. Either turn up with a 60ft shipping container - even Portland doesn't have THAT many eco-bags - or go in softly, a few brews at a time. I've seen with my own Craftnipotend eyes, hardened Crafters who have served their time in Craft haunts across the planet standing stunned for hours with their hands softly stroking the misty doors of the refrigerators and their eyes full of mosaic and citra tears of happiness. You can go through into the taproom from the store which has a surprisingly small list, but hey, nothing else matters after what you've just seen. Craft Jesus rating The purest 99 IBU (you all know 100+ is never the same)
google avatar

Greg G.

Yelp
Belmont Station is an awesome craft beer store with so many excellent choices. I wished beers were tagged with their Untapped rating next to the price. I did not partake in the bar side of the Station.
google avatar

Haifa D.

Yelp
Beers and ciders lovers! I have tried so many different types of beers as they have a huge collections of beers and ciders! Nice bar with a nice terrace in the area! The bartender was so friendly and nice.
google avatar

Kristian J.

Yelp
Snotty bartenders and unhelpful store-side staff have really made this place not a place I want to take anyone I know. It's embarrassing. I can't believe how rude the current employees are. This place isn't that special anymore, go elsewhere if you don't want the attitude. Seriously, you can find similar beer elsewhere in Portland without the a-hole attitude.
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
When I'm looking for something special to give as a gift, or looking to treat myself with a beer that I can't find elsewhere, Belmont Station is my destination. Their selection is terrific, and the staff has always been knowledgeable and willing to share information. On occasions when they have not had a specific item, the folks behind the counter are still likely to be able to tell you about future availability, or reasons why a given brand may never make it to their shelves. I can't speak much for the bar side of the operation, but I have been very happy with the current, and prior food carts located out back.

Yelp
This place is HANDS DOWN, the best bottle shop in Portland. There's only one other place that even comes close, which I will write a review for once I give them another visit (stay tuned)... I've seen a lot of the reviews revolve around "terrible customer service" at the bar side. Since I moved to SE Portland, almost 10 years ago now, I've been to Belmont station many, many times. Not once have I ever felt that I was treated in a condescending manner. NOT. ONCE. My guess is that the people making these kinds of complaints are probably beer novices, or ask questions that make them be seen as beer novices. I've actually seen this kind of interaction before, where a patron asks the completely slammed bartender "what's on tap?". This place has a constantly rotating tap list, and very rarely will you find the same beer on tap here week to week. That's the beauty of Belmont Station... always new beers to try. If you want to drink the same thing every time you go to a bar, this is not the bier cafe for you. That being said, if you do like to be adventurous, and try new things, you'll love it! Not only is their bottle selection one of the best in town, if not THE best, but they know their beer. I've never felt like I was being treated poorly for asking questions about their stock. They have weekly events involving breweries having in store tastings, or tapping special kegs in commemoration of special events... they have free giveaways if you're the first of 100 people to buy a specific new item... they give a discount for bottles/cans if you pay cash! How could anyone not love that?? I will issue one warning: if you are a beer aficionado, connoisseur, beer nerd, hop lover, brewer, or just someone who loves beer, well... you might spend a lot of money here. Every time I visit Belmont Station, I spend at least $70 on new beers to take home to try. There's just so much new stuff all the time! Belmont Station is truly a gem in a city awash in breweries and bottle shops. I love you guys, and keep on doing what you're doing!

Yelp
Awesome selection of beers on draft or to purchase in bottle shop for consumption on premise or to go! Bartenders are always friendly and willing to offer a tip or two towards your drinking preference. The back patio is relaxing and you only have to walk a few steps to grab a great sandwich from Monk's Deli!

Fabian L.

Yelp
Came from San Diego, found some good 450 north beer, they got a great selection of beers especially sour beers.

Eleanor J.

Yelp
Amazing staff & amazing beers! During COVID times the staff is respectful, masked up, and keeping the store clean & sanitized. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
We had a chill afternoon here with several rounds of drinks. We started on their outdoor table and then moved inside when the rain started. It was easy to stay entertained between their many beer options and the bookshelf full of games. We ended up playing cards for several hours. I'm not much of a beer drinker myself but they had a great cider and a honey wine that I enjoyed! Just beware that their "small" is really tiny - maybe a double shot. Not really worth it unless you really just want a few sips of your drink! First round: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/belmont-station-portland?select=kd7c--DipZDSvjVE_-IOAw#kd7c--DipZDSvjVE_-IOAw If you get hungry, they also have a menu from the Italian Market around the corner!

Yelp
I've been meaning to review this wonderful spot for years. This humble taphouse/bottle shop is my absolute favorite place to get a beer in all of Portland. My partner and I have been coming to Belmont Station for years and we have enjoyed every visit. Their rotating selection is always delicious, the staff is chill and welcoming, and the patrons, well let's just say we session leave without having made some new friends. This unpretentious watering hole is the cat's pajamas, I love it.

Yelp
I tried to return a keg for the $30 deposit i paid. The clerk was blankly staring at me and mumbling. This is after he ignored me standing at the counter while he chatted with a buddy about some band they were going to see...I was told that the deposit could be paid back in cash when i bought it. I asked specifically because the person who put it on their credit card was not going to be in town long. So, after paying way too much for a keg ($280) because i didnt have the card it was charged on i now own a $30 piece of aluminum that i cant refill... dicks

Yelp
The Belmont Station is nowhere near my house, but as they have an amazing selection of beer and hard cider I am more than willing to make the trip! My last two trips have occurred because I have fallen in love with Finn River's Habanero hard cider and this is the only place I have been able to find it. If you are a cider fan and also enjoy spicy things, this is a MUST TRY! Things seem to be organized really well in this shop and if there is ever a time that I am having trouble figuring out what to purchase, the staff has always been very helpful. They pass on the cost of running credit cards to their customers, so you can get your bottles for a little cheaper if you pay in cash. The bottle shop is connected to a bar which allows patrons to enjoy their recently purchased beverages for a small corkage fee. The only thing I don't like about The Belmont Station is the fact that they are not right in my neighborhood, (Although maybe this is a good thing for my bank account).

Yelp
This review is about the bar side not the store side. It all about how one is treated at a bar/pub to me. This was a total Fail. Me and coworker came in here for a drink, we walked up to the bar in a great mood, well because we just came out of a grueling meeting at work wanted to knock a couple back and nothing puts a smile on your face than a cold beer...well it's a close second...anyhow, until we were ignored...( the place was not busy) while other people walked up and got immediate assistance. Trust me I did all the right things..I smiled, made eye contact, ya know..cool things...I didn't want my mind to wonder why this happened...... But my mind did wonder....I'll stop there...but I will say this, this place is probably a awesome place to have a beer but management needs to be aware that some paying customers feel unwelcome and that is a direct effect of your employees lack of training. I will not be back and it's all because of the lack of respect for people. It's' sad that this discrimination still goes on........Sad and very disappointed... My coworker and I could FEEL the negative vibes...even other people next to us thought It was disrespectful. Question to ownership, Who represents your business? Do you really really know?? If not....find out Or not...that's ok too... Maybe the lady who was working was having a bad day.

Yelp
I'm SUPER impressed! Granted I'm not the geekiest of beer geeks to roam the bottle shops of Portland, but I know the industry fairly well. I managed prominent beer bars for half a decade and in that time got to know a number of great breweries both within the US and from around the world. Browsing through Belmont Station, I was the most impressed with a selection of beers that I have been since moving to Portland a few years back. Belmont Station will definitely have something new and exciting for you to try. Also, I've recently learned just how much of a hassle it is to get kegs in Oregon. Though the OLCC makes you jump through some pretty ridiculous hoops, the team at Belmont Station make the insanity as easy to deal with as possible. Plus, they've got a great selection both on-hand and available for special order. Of course they've got the taps and buckets you'll need to. Everything but ice! I haven't ever been here to actually hang out and drink, but I was so impressed with my shopping experience that I bet that'll change soon!

Yelp
Iconic bottle shop/tap room in SE Portland. First on the bottle shop - as you would suspect - great selection. Come here if you want the best of the greater pacific NW to take home. Two tips: 1) ask the cashiers - it can be overwhelming, even for a beer geek and they can helpful for styles, what's in season, etc 2) bring cash - it is a BIG discount. Tap room - around 20 taps of world class brews. When I came I got the Cascade Kentucky Peach (note: if Cascade is on tap in a bar - get it) which is a delightful yet strong sour and the Knee Deep Hop Surplus which is a nice big and fruity DIPA. I didn't see any of the negative vibes people were mentioning here. Both in the bottle shop and tap room people went out of their way to help. No food but there is a truck outside. Note that it does close early, believe around 9pm on weeknights. If you want to bring beer home from Portland, Belmont Station is a must, but even if you just want to grab a drink its worth the trip on its own.
