Google
A very authentic little eatery. The curry fish balls with rice noodles are delicious, and the beef brisket clay pot rice is also excellent. We also ordered the coconut black chicken soup and pork liver. There aren't many seats. Parking is only available on the street.

Love everything we got (cha siu rice rolls, yellow eel and Chinese bacon and sausage clay pots)! Service is very fast and friendly too.

Google
It’s a small compact but clean restaurant, might need to share table with other customers. Food is served fast, and they have a large menu to select from. Very authentic Cantonese food! Definitely worth trying.

Google
A little hole in the wall restaurant, service is friendly and small seating area. The clay pot with rice and meat stays nice and hot, needs a little more of the sauce in my opinion, which you can find on the table. The beef chow fun is excellent, good balance and not too oily. The fivespice duck is okay, watch the little bone shards because they cut it up fresh.

Google
This restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine and is a great choice for those looking to experience traditional Chinese home-style dishes. The prices are very reasonable. However, the restaurant is relatively simple in terms of ambiance, and parking is only available on the roadside, so plan accordingly. Overall, it’s ideal for those who prioritize taste!

Google
Amazing Cantonese food and attentive service at Big Fun Cafe. This is one of the best Cantonese restaurants that I’ve ever been to so far. The rice rolls and clay pot rice are authentic and must-have. The staff were attentive and friendly from start to finish. The space was limited, so there may be a wait if you come during peak dinner time. Street parkings were available nearby and should not be difficult to find.

Google
The rice rolls at Big Fun Cafe are great—very authentic and incredibly tasty. It’s affordable too, which makes it even better. I would definitely recommend getting a rice roll if you stop by. Although the location might seem a little sketchy, it’s worth visiting if you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite!

Google
Ordered the Spare Ribs with Black Beans Clay Pot Rice ($14.25). It took exactly fifteen minutes to cook, as stated on the menu. The price was decent for the portion size. The spare ribs were very tender. There was a lot more rice than meat. Some of the rice was burnt, which was unpleasant to eat. There is a line between crispy, golden clay pot rice and burnt rice. Overall, it was still pretty good and filling.

Yelp
First time taking my son here and he really enjoyed it. He loves steamed noodles and steamed dumplings. Not sure what to get so we opted to stick with the original shrimp steamed noodles. I added eggs to it and asked them for extra vegetables. The soy sauce that they used, it's very good. Sweet and flavorful. Becareful when taking your first bite. It comes out really hot. Be warned lol Seating isn't much. Maybe 4-5 tables. Max this small little cafe can fit maybe 10-15 people. Definitely would come back again. Shoutout to the servers there. They're so nice. love it.

Yelp
Really good claypots with a solid variety. We got the Chinese sausage&bacon and eel claypots. There is a good ratio of meat to rice which some other places skimp on. The rice was also perfect with plenty of crispiness. Also got the curry ball rice rolls which tasted really good. The place is a little smaller so can't fit too many people at one time but things moved fast enough that didn't get congested. Service also really good and speedy. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Life is Short. F....it up! Family, Flavor, Friends. came here on a cloudy rainy day for lunch with some friends. Very small Mom) pops place that serves good quality freshly made rice noodles and clay pots. Everything was done just perfect and very flavorful very nostalgic tasting and hit the spot and every bite definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Following my recent wisdom teeth extractions, it's really been difficult finding foods that I'm able to eat (and want to eat lol) without causing irritation. Luckily, Big Fun Cafe had two items on their menu that were soft enough for me to eat! I ordered their char siu rice rolls w/egg added and a pork + century egg congee. Pork with century egg congee is my absolute favorite and it was tasty today. Always comes super hot and good consistency. The steamed rice roll is also very yummy, per usual. I like to get it with char siu & with egg, as not many places do that around here. Ordering take out was super easy today. I ordered via phone call & within just 10 min, my order was ready!

Yelp
Big Fun Cafe is a hidden gem in Quincy. They specialize in clay pot dishes which are a must have in Cantonese style restaurant. Their menu is limited but thats not a bad thing. The restaurant is relatively small and only have 17-20 seats. I ordered Chinese sausage and bacon clay pot rice and shrimp rice rolls with eggs. They have extra sauce ready for you on the table for both clay pot dish and rice rolls in case you need more sauce. The rice rolls are perfect. They aren't stingy with the shrimp and the claypot dish is also tasted like grandma's cooking. Service was awesome. Server was very welcoming and considerate. I will definitely return here in the future.

Yelp
Stopped in here, there's some street parking in the area. It's a little shop, the definition of a hole in the wall. A lot of to-go orders while we were here, they have a few small seats and they get you seated right away with some water in small styrofoam cups. They specialize in the rice noodle, making it fresh here. The fivespice duck is not too bad, probably better if chilled. You just have to watch the bone shards because they cut it up fresh. The rice is a broken rice in the clay pot stays nice and hot, and they have extra sauce to the side if you need it, the sausage and bacon version is good. Lastly we tried the beef chow fun, which was excellent, not too oily and good balance. Plenty of vegetables and though the onions were a little undercooked. Friendly service, too.

Yelp
Worth the wait! You need to go in person and get a #. Don't be surprised if you need to wait 30 minutes. Note: they don't take reservations and it's mostly tables that seat 2 or 4; one round table seats up to 8. They do have takeout. Keep in mind that all of their rice noodles have cilantro so make sure you request without if that's not your thing. The rice rolls have great flavor and are thin as they should be. The "filling" is not wrapped inside the noodles and really is a topping. Standard condiments for rice roll sauce & clay pot rice are in bottles on the table. A container of chili oil is also on the table. If you know you want clay pot rice, then you should order it as soon as you're seated because it could take a little while. The staff are very nice and helpful. The place is simply decorated and seating is tight.

Yelp
Small, unassuming establishment. Their Cantonese comfort food did not disappoint! So familiar. The flat rice noodles felt so authentic I had to send a picture to my aunt in China! Great portions for the prices. The biggest downside is that you are sitting quite closely to other guests, which feels cramped and gives no privacy for conversations. The trade off is that they try to fit more tables into the small space to increase seating. Service is fast and efficient and food comes out rather quickly, so they try to minimize wait times. They take credit card which is a plus. We easily found street parking but not sure if that's always the case.

Yelp
A very small southern Chinese cuisine cafe located in Quincy, just across the street from Wollaston station on the redline. Street parking is a little bit difficult to find as it is limited in that area. The cafe is small, there are only 5 tables. Food: Shrimp steamed rice rolls--Portion is 2x the size you normally get in dim sum. The steam rice rolls were thin and soft with a slight chew, making it super easy to eat (honestly I think I ate a little bit too fast). Every bite has cilantro and shrimp. The flavor is enhanced when you add the chilly oil offered on the table. Spare Ribs with Black Beans Clay Pot Rice--My favorite order, the rice is perfectly crispy at the bottom so make sure you mix and scrape the bottom of the pot. I think they can put a little bit more of the fermented black bean to hence the flavor more. I would order this again. Century old eggs with pork congee-- Very warm and honestly a comfort food IYKYK. Think they can add a bit more of the eggs. The congee is smooth and nicely made. Ice milk tea--Very good not too sweet. The tea can be slightly stronger. Overview: This place is a hidden gem and price is affordable. I would come here again.

Yelp
This is a no frills spot for some Cantonese comfort food. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu but the rice rolls are def a must get. For two of us, we got two rice rolls and a clay pot rice to share and it was plenty of food. The space inside is pretty small (only 4 tables) as we're pretty much sitting elbow to elbow with the next table. People do come and go pretty quickly so we didn't have to wait for a table.

Yelp
Arguably the best food run by the kindest people in Quincy hands down. Their rice rolls are as authentic as you could hope to find, add double egg and their chili oil and you have one of my favorite dishes of all time. I am definitely planning to sit down and try much more of their menu, but when I have to order on the go they certainly make sure to take extra consideration for their customers

Yelp
I love everything about this place. Owners are great, quick and efficient, their food is excellent! Prices are very reasonable. What's amazing about Big fun is their clay pot rice! They do it best compared to all the places I've been to. They beat clay pot cafe in Chinatown. Their rice is so crispy and not burnt, flavors amazing, get the soy sauce and cured meat, the cuts are generous, good portion size and honestly they do clay pot the best and don't even advertise it. It's a legit gem in Quincy.

Yelp
I usually step on here when in the area at times earlier on in the day, rice noodles mainly! Egg rice noodles, rice noodles with char siu and the fried dough sticks. When we sit down i usually get a rice and fried squid dish or share some claypot rice dish with pork or yellow eel. Quick easy, tiny spot on corner not much seating but we used to it and foods always good.

Yelp
Visted this place during our vacation in Boston. There were not enough tables and chairs to sit and eat in the restaurant. When I used their bathroom, I walked through the kitchen where floors were very filthy, wet, oily, and had food particles like never been wiped and swept before. The kitchen utensils, pots, and pans were dirty. When I was inside the bathroom, it was filthy and noticed there were spices like onions, garlic, nuts, etc. were hanging on the nails inside the bathroom. It was very unsanitary. We lost our appetite and left the place. It was very disappointing. I would not recommend this place for dining in, carryout, or delivery the way the conditions they are in.

Yelp
This was the perfect comfort food that I was looking for! Made the trip up here from Providence and was THRILLED to get some solid cantonese food on the east coast! First, the interior is quite small and crowded, so if you are planning to eat in, you should be prepared to wait. It's WELL worth the wait, however, as the food is incredible! For the three of us, we got a scallion pancake, the fish congee, the shrimp rice roll, the youtiao, and the 2 item claypot rice with frog and chinese sausage. Everything was spectacular! I have searched long and hard for the right youtiao on this coast, and this was IT! It was fresh, crispy, not too oily and not too dry--perfection. The congee was also just the right consistency (not too watery but not too goopy), and extremely well flavored. The claypot rice was also perfect, complete with the crispy rice at the bottom and extremely flavorful. The scallion pancake also had the best ratio of scallion flavor to dough without being overly dry or oily, and is the best version I've found in the Boston/Providence area! The shrimp rice roll was also excellent--no notes! Bok choy was fresh and delicious. The main server that we have was so sweet; she helped us pack away our food for us and was extremely considerate and accommodating. I would eat at this place every day if I were closer by! The only warning that I have has nothing to do with the restaurant (which if you couldn't tell, I love), but about the parking situation. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE RESTAURANT. Apparently, in the extremely small text that is easy to miss in the dark, the owner of that lot does not allow parking past 7pm there, and only 1 hr parking earlier in the day. We got our car towed 20 min past 7pm as we were eating, and apparently the owner has nothing better to do on a Saturday night than watch her security camera and call a towing company to take your car away. Be careful, and hopefully, I've saved you over $100 in towing fees!

Yelp
Very tight fit with only 5 tables. Even doing take out could be awkward to find a place to stand without being too close to people eating. It is always packed here so I usually do take out. Rice rolls are good here. Can't go wrong with shrimp or beef. No parking directly in front so you have to find a side street or find a random place to double park. It is conveniently located right across from Wollaston station if you are taking the train
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
I was in town for the Boston Marathon and came here for dinner. I was staying in Quincy, so I frequented the Wollaston station across the street. The dining area was quite tiny. I saw 1 large circular table and about 6 small tables that they rearranged depending on the number in each party. Since the girl that was working the counter told me that it would be about 20 minutes for a table, I decided to just order my food to-go. I ordered the spareribs with black beans clay pot rice which just so happened to also take about 20 minutes for it to be ready. It wasn't bad, but next time I would want to eat that particular item at the restaurant as it wasn't ideal to be served out of a take-out container. I grabbed one of their menus on the way out. I would definitely want to make a return visit the next time that I'm out in the Quincy area to check out other items on their menu.

Yelp
Authentic Cantonese food! The rice noodle was smooth and delicious. The winter melon soup wasn't on the menu. It was salted just right and tasted like home-cooked soup. The salted fish clay pot rice was flavorful and had a crunchy, burnt rice layer at the bottom. The cafe was small with limited seating. It was nearly full when my friend and I went for a weekend lunch. Service was quite fast.
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
A very small Cantonese cafe with just a handful of tables. The service is reasonable. They seem to speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. The steamed rolls are really good. Perfect thickness and very flavorful. The wintermelon soup was also really yummy. Perfect amount of salt. My friend and I also got the pork claypot rice; it was really good. I liked that they cooked it long enough for the crispy rice. Overall, I'm excited to return and try the chicken soup and a different claypot.
google avatar

Ti W.

Yelp
Extremely legit Cantonese cafe! One of the best clay pots I've had in the US. You must eat all the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which is such a pleasure. The sitting area is very small but I highly recommend dine in so that you can fully enjoy the meal.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Soft, delicious, delectable rice rolls. Crispy, fragrant, topping filled clay pot. My favorite roll is the spare ribs ADD egg with no cilantro. Next favorite is minced beef but of course all of them are delicious! All of the clay pots here are very tasty. Can't go wrong with any of them. Highly recommend you try their Hong Kong milk tea. Definitely a must have!
google avatar

Yelp
4.5/5 rice noodles and 4/5 claypot rice. Won't come all the way here for it but it's pretty good

Yelp
I don't think there is a restaurant in the greater Boston area that I love more than Big Fun Cafe. It's a cozy, affordable place that does a lot of my favorite comfort eats (congee, rice rolls, clay pot rice). Like many people have mentioned, the wait for a seat in the small cafe can get quite long but I assure you will be in for a treat after! I'm not the biggest fan of soy milk but I make sure to order it every time I come here. The soy milk is creamy and delicious, at the right amount of sweetness. Their milk tea is also amazing and the flavor of the tea comes through well. The congee comes in a big portion so I would suggest splitting it with someone else. The dish itself is smooth and flavorful, and once paired with a Chinese Fried Dough from their menu makes the perfect breakfast combo! They have a large variety on the rice rolls you can get, my go to is always shrimp. There is the option to customize it a bit by adding egg and extra vegetables. The service here is like most Chinese restaurants. The staff is very direct but I haven't had a bad encounter with them so far. The interior is small and you might find yourself sitting very close to another group or even sharing a table but it's a compromise I'm willing to make considering the taste and the cost of the food here.
google avatar

Rosie Q.

Yelp
I've been here many times specifically for their steamed rice roll. It's the best I've had around Massachusetts. They serve Chinese appetizers, clay pots, rice rolls, soups, and rice plates for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's a small shop with seating to dine in. I usually come here for takeout. Street parking is tricky because this area is bustling and tons of people tend to linger. Plus down the street is the MBTA. Beef Brisket Steamed Rice Roll- Braised tender diced beef and tendon with its savory sauce served with the steamed rice roll. I'm glad they didn't drench it completely in sauce, I like to taste the rice roll. Priced on the higher side but worth it. Shrimp Steamed Rice Roll- Snappy shrimp and green onion rolled into the rice roll. Served with their sweet soy sauce. My absolute favorite. Overall Service: Ultra-friendly staff. I swear every time I'm in this area, I feel slightly frazzled but they were welcoming and helpful when I had questions.

Yelp
A wintery New England Saturday and getting food delivered sounds like a good idea. We decided to get food from Big Fun Cafe, and after a review of the menu, we got a little bit of everything to try. The steamed shrimp rice noodles and fried dough steamed rice noodles were tasty. The steamed noodles weren't oily like the ones you get at dim sum; these were fresh and had a soft chew. Overall, these dishes tasted homemade. Next time I'll order the fried dough noodles at the cafe because it will likely taste better piping hot. Next, I tried the Beef Offal with Wonton Noodle Soup. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The wontons were more skin than filling, and the noodles were springy and had a great bounce and chew to them with the broth and some of that sauce from the brisket on the noodles, a solid dish. Now comes the rice dishes, the Spare Ribs with Black Beans Clay Pot Rice had my favorite part, the crispy rice that a clay pot would produce. The spare ribs were lacking, with more bones than meat, and the overall flavor of the clay pot rice itself was leaning toward bland, I barely tasted any black beans. The Big Fun Combo Rice Plate is the most disappointing dish. This rice plate looked sad and tasted flat. The fatty pork slices, chicken, and duck all looked like one color and weren't appealing. Hong Eatery still is my go-to for their combo rice plates. Their meats are flavorful and bright with color. I'd describe Big Fun Cafe as a place for home cooking. Many of these dishes are humble, and simple meals you can make and eat at home. If I were to come back, the must get dishes are the steamed rice noodles and the brisket. So if you are looking for a taste of comfort, this is the place that has those homey dishes.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Solid Cantonese restaurant in Boston area. Got the beef chow fun and spare rib rice roll. Both the rice roll and chow fun were very chewy but a little bland for my taste. The downside is there is very limited indoor seating. Most people I saw were getting takeout but if that's not an option, expect to wait and possibly share the table with another party.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Humm ordered the 2 item clay pot rice and disappointed for $21 there weren't any meat, mostly burnt rice ‍!
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
Although I haven't looked very hard, Big Fun is the only place that I've found that offers cantonese clay pot rice. When I saw that, I had to try it. The clay pot rice was okay, but I make it better at home because I can add better and more ingredients and I don't mind letting it cook longer and rest longer before I dig into it. That longer resting time is important to produce the best rice crust. That said, Big Fun only takes 15 minutes to put a clay pot rice on your table - which is pretty fast (they must be precooking the rice to be able to make clay pot rice in 15 minutes). The rice texture seemed like they were using jasmine rice - which is the preferred rice for this dish. If I lived locally or happened to be in the area, then I would go there and explore the rest of the menu. However, I'm not sure that it's a destination dining experience. There's limited parking on the street and people have commented about avoiding parking in the bakery parking lot. Finally, the people running the restaurant were very nice. As I sat there, they were very accommodating in explaining the menu items to people that weren't familiar with the food on the menu. For context, I rate 3 as good local food, 4 as a destination worth driving to, and 4.5-5 as best in class food anywhere in the world.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the type of restaurant one would find in a local neighborhood in Guangzhou. The customers are a mix of working Chinese and hip Chinese students. The specialty is the handmade rice noodle rolls and the rice bowls staff can be intimidating if you don't speak Chinese except for the owner. I loved the scrambled egg and shrimp rolls. The chicken mushroom rice with crunchy crust. My mom would have loved eating here.
google avatar

Wendy C.

Yelp
Didn't love it at first bite but then couldn't stop eating it and ate it all in the car. Looking forward to coming back to trying the other items!

Yelp
Went to Big Fun Cafe and loved the little place that they have. They only have 4 tables, but everything looks in order. I ordered char siu rice noodles and chinese sausage and bacon fried rice for to go. They are all very good. The char siu rice noodle has a little cilantro in it and the rice noodle is fresh and very thin. The fried rice is so good, def recommend that one. I definitely recommend this place. Parking is a little tough, i'd recommend to park at the wollaston side and walk to brook street.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
Located at the corner in the side street with no parking is Big Fun Cafe. A very small restaurant that only has about 4 tables. Known for their variety choices of rice dough which we ordered the beef rice dough and shrimp rice dough. We also ordered the wontons and the seafood congee. Congee had flavor but not much seafood. Rice dough was fantastic, slurpy, meaty and salty enough. Wontons need some work as they are small and not much taste. The broth had taste though.

Yelp
Amazing food. Small place. High chance of wait but didn't care. They have a large menu selection but all great.

Yelp
As a big fan of rice rolls I've been meaning to visit Quincy for a while, solely to try Big Fun Cafe. After trying delicious shrimp rice rolls in New York I was hoping that I could find that same joy in the Boston area. We had to wait a while to get seated for Sunday lunch -- it's a small space and quite popular. I of course got the shrimp rice roll with veggies. I didn't order it with eggs but that's what I got, which was fine. It wasn't the best rice roll I've had -- the rice roll itself was a bit soggy. The shrimp was a bit sparse and on the borderline of being tough. The chili oil on the side has quite the kick but also seems to have vinegar, so it ended up tasting a bit sriracha-y. I don't think I would come here just for rice rolls. The fish fillet with eggplant ($17) was really good. It had very good flavor and cook on both the eggplant and the fish. The eggplant was still beautifully purple while being super tender, probably due to deep frying. There was very little fish relative to eggplant -- for the price, I would expect more fish, but I'm not upset about having a lot of eggplant. We got the claypot rice where you could pick two meats, and got the beef brisket and spareribs with black bean sauce. The rice was meh -- it was just crispy on the outside and didn't have any flavor seep in. I prefer the rice at Claypot Cafe in Chinatown which has the soy sauce flavor cooked into the sides, and flavor from the meat on top permeating the rice. The brisket was quite tough and the meat got stuck in my teeth. The spareribs were okay, less tough but not the best treatment of the meat. Overall I wouldn't get their claypot rice again. Overall I'm glad I finally made it to Quincy to try this place. I unexpectedly really liked the fish fillet with eggplant, but the other things we tried did not meet our hopes.

Yelp
The service was fantastic and the food was very filling. We ordered shrimp rice rolls, shumai, and a bacon and Chinese sausage clay pot. Not much for seating but they accommodated us very quickly!
google avatar

Jess C.

Yelp
Great rice rolls: thin sheets, flavorful - we tried the shrimp with egg and bead brisket, both delicious. Small dine in area, but they have quite some selections on the menu. Will definitely go back and try something else. The server/cashier was very friendly and helpful too.

Tina L.

Yelp
Ordered a ground pork clay pot and it smelled spoiled and lacked flavor had to throw it away. Also ordered a milk tea ... not sure if it was made with soy milk instead but lacked flavor

Yelp
Review for take out order. It took about 20 mins for shrimp steamed noodles. They are made to order so they are super fresh. Cafe is conveniently located 3 mins walk from Wollaston red line T stop. Love the thin and chewy texture! It's very hard to find this in Massachusetts because most of the steamed rolls are very thick at dim sum joints. Happy to find the cafe because their chuen fun (steamed rolls) are as good as the ones in Manhattan NYC (Kong Khee) $6.95 plus tax so it's a good value since most of the steamed rolls are roughly $5 and up and not as tasty. Small cafe , I think can sit 6 parties. Street parking.

Yelp
The best steamed rice rolls I have ever had. They are fresh made and have a silky texture that I have never experienced before. We got the shrimp, beef brisket, and char su pork steamed rice rolls, and all of them were delicious. You don't get as much protein in each of the dishes as you typically expect from pre-made rolls from other places but the ingredients tasted higher quality. But the rolls are so good you won't even care. There are 4-5 tables for dine-in but they are packed together. We got take out and picked it up in 30 min. Still warm when we got home. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a hole in the wall but one of the best homey Chinese food around Quincy. Service was pleasant and quick. Place is small with about 5 tables so expect to wait during busy time or weekends. Highly recommend their Shrimp Steamed Rice Roll and Eel Rice Clay Pot. Delish! I will be back.

Yelp
Yummy noodles. We ordered online since the actual restaurant is small. Easy enough to order online. They are usually too busy to pick up the phone.

Yelp
Big fun cafe is a unique restaurant in Quincy. I saw the reviews about clay pot rice and steamed rice rolls so decided to check out this restaurant. It's not often you get a restaurant that specializes in clay pot rice or rice rolls. Let alone one that does it well. We enjoyed the chicken & black mushroom clay pot rice and also the beef brisket clay pot rice. While the chicken dish was ok, we enjoyed the beef brisket more. We enjoyed the crispy bits of rice at the end, along with the overall flavors. We also ordered a shrimp rice roll as an appetizer and it was very fresh and hand made. It was very light and high quality. Very unique and unlike the rice rolls at most restaurants. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal at this unique spot.

Yelp
Such a cute little place for Chinese brunch. The homemade soy milk was so delicious and I enjoyed everything we ordered. Their rice rolls are better than some dim sum places I've been to because the paper thin noodles absorb the soy sauce so well. Adding egg, scallions, and cilantro to the rice rolls also give it more flavor and bite. We were surprised at how good the curry fish balls were with the rice rolls too. We came on a Saturday afternoon when it was so busy but the clay pot rice didn't take that long. The rice had crispy bits and was fluffy and fragrant, while the pork ribs were tender and falling off the bone. We generously added the clay pot rice sauce that was on the table for extra flavor too.

Yelp
Oooh love this place!!! We usually get a few rice noodle rolls and a clay pot to share. The rice noodle rolls are the thin wrinkled kind not the smooth rolled kind commonly found at dim sum places, but I think these are better! The texture is super soft and delicate and fun :) Both soy sauces (different for rice roll versus clay pot) are v tasty too. We've tried most of their rice noodle rolls and almost all their clay pots and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Pro tip: try adding an egg to the rice roll for a different flavor. Service is friendly and fast as well! Definitely worth the big fun trek from Boston hahaha

Yelp
Perfect when I'm looking for simple old fashioned HK rice plate, Beef with Choy Sum and Onions over Rice for $13.00.

Yelp
The wait time is extremely long. The rice rolls are good but it takes 30min of waiting time. Everything else besides the rice rolls taste very very bad. The clay pot rice is bland. The watercress vegetable is not even chewable.

Yelp
Twas a solid takeout meal. My partner and I ordered pork w preserved egg congee, Chinese sausage & bacon clay pot rice, whole five flavors duck, and the fried dough rice roll - TASTE: 4/5 - the congee was the only dish that I thought could've used more oomph, as I was expecting the rice to have absorbed more of the pork's flavor. Otherwise, the Chinese sausage shone in the clay pot rice, the duck was super tasty w the accompanying sauce, and you can't go wrong w a rice roll wrapped outside of fried dough! TEXTURE: 4/5 - good all around, from creamy congee and crispy rice to tender duck and slippery rolls PRICE: 5/5 - the price points are really reasonable here! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - had enough leftovers for the next day. We realized, though, that the whole-size duck was two takeout containers. So we'd prob choose the half-size in one container next time SERVICE: 4/5 - ordered online through Big Fun Cafe's website and our food was ready in 30min TAKEOUT: 4/5 - appreciated that they poked holes through some of the styrofoam containers to let steam out PARKING: 3/5 - Brook St is a tight, one-way street, so most people park quickly to grab their takeout

Yelp
I've been here a few times, all for carry out, as the dine in area is quite small. Three tables fill the place. I've gotten their homemade rice noodle with braised beef and separately shrimp with eggs. Have tried their rice clay pot but I'm thinking that dish is best served in house. The homemade noodle is fresh and soft. The braised beef is well simmered to taste, although the beef could use a little more tenderizing. The shrimp with homemade rice noodle was tasty, the shrimp cooked well. Parking is street only.

Yelp
Light yet flavorful soup, perfect on a hot or cold day. Shrimp and pork wonton is really good! Staff is friendly and genuine. The coffee and milk tea combo is authentic. Love this place. Definitely going to be a regular here.
