I *finally* got to try Black Radish tonight, and it did not disappoint. My friend ordered the Mangy Parrot cocktail and said it was delicious. I gave our fantastic waiter/bartender, Monte, some basic guidance of what my tastes are and free reign in making up a mocktail for me, and what she came up with was perfect (pictured)! We slow-walked our order in order to better gauge our level of fullness and see what tickled our fancy next. We started with the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata (pic attached) - the cheese was deliciously creamy, and the variety of tomatoes were plump, juicy, and fresh. The basil vinaigrette dressing was flavorful without being overpowering. We also had the Bubble Potatoes, since most everyone has raved about them. The texture was incredible - crisp, lightly salted exterior with a fluffy yet creamy interior. After annihilating both of those, we ordered the cacio e Pepe asparagus and the spinach tortellini. The crust on the asparagus was well-seasoned and didn't fall off as soon as you bit into it or cut it, as so many batters do. While I wasnt crazy about the lemon aioli (the texture was still too firm, like heavy Mayo), the fresh lemon wedges which accompanied it provided the perfect note of acidity. The pasta:filling ratio was well proportioned, and for a "half" order, it was a lot of pasta. I didn't take photos of the last 3 dishes as I've seen them captured plenty of times on Facebook food groups and yelp, and also because I was impatient and just wanted to eat. Service was prompt, and all the staff was very attentive and friendly. All tallied, 2 cocktails, 2 mocktails, and all four of those dishes totaled $110 - an absolute bargain for how delicious the food was, and we left feeling beyond full and satisfied. I highly recommend getting there early, though - we arrived at 5:30 and the parking lot was already nearly full (there are a couple other restaurants that share the same space), and by the time we left at 7:30 people were literally driving in circles jockeying for a spot as they eventually opened up.
