Restaurateur Mike Tran Brings Brooklyn-Style Pizza and Coffee to Asiatown - Eater Houston

"Blkdog Coffee, located at 9630 Clarewood, is expected to open soon. The venue features shabby chic decor, mismatched chairs, hanging plants, and a chandelier from Tran’s home. Inspired by coffee shops in Asia, it offers a mom-and-pop atmosphere with a menu that includes Brooklyn style pizza with Asian flavors and La Colombe coffee. Unique decor elements include Austrian and French antique lights and an informal lending library. It will be the first coffee shop in Texas to partner with La Colombe." - Mai Pham

Best cafe in the neighborhood. Good coffee and tea choices. Comfortable and clean desks and chairs for reading and studying. 📚 very friendly staff, they remember you and happy to facilitate using environment friendly tumbler for drinks.

We went here late afternoon one day. The hot chocolate was great. My friend got the Saigon Cappuccino (it’s half cappuccino and half vietnamese coffee) and asked for it to be less sweet - it was good but it was still pretty sweet. The affogato was great. We also got the chicken, which was good, and the squid which was awesome. The atmostphere is good and it’s a nice, chill place to work.

Google
Great study spot with a warm vibe and fantastic Vietnamese coffee and beignets. I had the matcha beignets and they were super yummy with a gorgeous matcha flavor while being light and fluffy. I would definitely recommend the Vietnamese coffee here as well - it’s perfectly strong and sweet. It’s some of my favorite in Houston for the dimension and creaminess. This is the perfect place to visit for a quick afternoon snack. The vibes were perfect and I will be coming back here to study soon :)

Google
Vietnamese coffee was so good. But little bit too much of ice. I also asked them to make it less sweet but was still sweet for me. However, the armosphere was really cute and comforting. If you have work to do, plenty of working space available.

My niece saw this place on one of Mikey Chan’s videos so we gave it a try. We specifically went there for the green tea beignets. They were pretty about 10 small beignets to an order. They came covered in white powdered sugar and a green tea matcha powder which was very pretty. Unfortunately they were plain dense doughy bites and the sugar added sweetened but the green tea flavor was super light. It also came with a small container of honey that helped add a bit more flavor to things. We also got frappes that were really, really good. Our last taste was a delectable yuzu cheesecake. The citrusy flavor was well balanced with the creamy cheese flavor. Our 6 year old devoured it. The place is cute, clean and the service friendly. Overall a great experience but wished the beignets had flavor.

Google
Nice boutique coffee shop near Bellaire. The coffee is awesome here with nice dessert pairing options including the matcha beignets and crepe cake. The only problem here are seats availability since mostly are taken by students with laptop for studying. I can see why they like this place more than Starbucks. Highly recommended to all. We hope next time it won't be that crowded.

Google
Ordered Takoyaki and Ice Vietnamese coffee for about $12.00 total. Great selection of snacks and drinks overall. The entire area is open and spacious with plenty of seating and tables. Great place to study or just chat! Customer service is also good!

Google
My wife and I both loved the same drink, an espresso frappe done very well, we looked at the menu online and ended up at the same place/drink. Just the right consistency, tasted great. We like how easy it is to get in and out of their parking lot. We'll be back for more. We always get great coffee drinks here, when we can find a place to park, today we were able to. My wife got a frozen blended dirty chai, it was very good. I went with an equally great hot capuccino with two splendas. The strip mall they are located in has a lot of other popular businesses and parking can be a problem, we found a spot on the end of the building but they're worth the walk.

Yelp
When the moon hits your eyes, like a big pizza pie, that's a Morii. My girl was a barista in a past life, and enjoys dragging my tired, nearly lifeless body around to new coffee shops. I'm a tea drinker before I'm a coffee drinker (thank you Uncle Iroh) and I'm trying to expand my palate. She's been raving about the coconut coffee here for a good minute. I'm Vietnamese, and I like to keep up with the street food trends from my country. Right now, it's all about the egg coffee and coconut coffee. Iced coconut Vietnamese coffee. That's all you need. A good Vietnamese coffee alone is strong, decadent, sweet, bitter, and has the power to give you fluffy chest hair after one sip. Morii's version with coconut are all of these things, made more tame, subtle, and icey/creamy with the addition of the coconut. It felt like I took one sip and it was gone. I looked at my girl and said, "I need like 5 more of these thangs." But get this, I looked wired as heck and my left eye kept twitching. Great coffee. We also ordered the shoestring fries with spicy mayo and ketchup. My girl's also addicted to these fries, which in my opinion are just regular fries and not actually as thin as shoestring, but hey put a raw potato in front of me and I will probably try to eat it. That's how I feel about all potatoes. These were fresh, hot, lightly seasoned and paired so well with the spicy mayo, which I absolutely adored. I love their spicy mayo, but I will say. I think it's heinous to charge $0.25 for ketchup. I get it, yada yada, food costs, but as someone who's worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years... ketchup is a given if someone's gonna order fries, you know. It's un-American or whatever, otherwise. The ambiance is very relaxed. The shop itself is a safe haven for stressed college students, stressed entrepreneurs, and other areas of stressed individuals. A family came in, and I swear the baby they had with them was stressed as well. The decor was tasteful, and I sure like being at this coffee shop on a rainy day. Good luck with seating though. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Vibes were a 5/5. Music was not too loud. Loved all of the options on the menu- the variety of drinks and choices made me excited. The interior decor and ac was nice and you can tell a lot of people came here to get work done. The service was meh. There was one server and cashier and she didn't care when someone took the wrong order because she announced it so quietly. Someone took our order and we had to clear up the mistake and get our drinks from them. The matcha beignets were okay. Cool idea. Enjoyed our drinks.

Yelp
I came here with a friend to study and they had plenty of seating options (one big table and a good chunk of smaller tables). My friend really liked their coconut viet coffee so I decided to try their coconut matcha version. It was very light, sweet, and creamy but the coconut flavor was a little overwhelming and the drink was a little thick.
google avatar

Yelp
Highlight: Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($6.25), Matcha Beignet ($6.95) The matcha was very sweet and powdery, more on the grassy taste. The beignets were hot and a bit dense but the powdered tops did compliment them well with the honey dip on the side. Hospitality: Friendly staff. The beignets came out about 10 minutes after ordering. Honorable Mention: There's a main table in the middle and other smaller side tables for work or study. Also has free wifi.

Yelp
We love this hidden gem!! Tucked away (but close enough) to Chinatown, it's a great spot for a quick break away from the hustle and bustle. It would be a nice place for studying or working if you happen to be in the area. The staff is really friendly, the vibes are cozy and aesthetic with a lot of natural lighting. More notably, the coffee and snacks are delightful! I got the iced coconut Vietnamese coffee and it was sweet, buttery, and so full of flavor, loved it! We also ordered the matcha beignets with honey, and wow, what a treat! We enjoyed this spot and will definitely come back!

Yelp
Came to Morii Coffee to attempt to get work done. It was a rainy day so the place was fairly empty with plenty of tables available. They have a really nice aesthetic inside, I felt like it would a good study spot. I wanted to try their iced coconut Vietnamese coffee. It was pretty good and not overly sweet but I could not taste any coconut in it at all. I also tried some matcha beignets which came with a side of honey. The beignets were warm and pillowy and the powdered sugar and matcha powder made it taste pretty good. Don't dunk them too much into the honey though or it will be too sweet. I also tried some of their Kyoto fog and I really liked it even though it was a warm drink. It's a hojicha with steamed half and half and whole milk, and vanilla. It had a deep flavor and a perfect sweetness level, I'd get this over the coffee.

Yelp
As soon as I walked in, I noticed how busy this place is. It seems to be a popular coffee shop and for good reason! It's great for studying, hanging out with friends, etc. The music is soothing and their food was great! The Takoyaki was flavorful, but the beignets were missing some crunch. Their matcha was perfect, and the coffee was also on point! I would definitely come her again.

Yelp
Ambiance 4/5 Can get loud especially in the afternoon. Great to study around noon as its quiet and has outlets. Their interior is also cool to look at with the chandelier and hanging plants. Wish they placed their wifi somewhere more visible especially if they cater to many students studying. Drink 4/5 I got the momo oolong tea. The tea bag looked fancy and it tasted like oolong lol. Maybe ill try another drink next time. Service 5/5 Asked for a recommendation and was given nicely so...im happy with it. I would go again either alone or with study friends.
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
Such a cute little cafe! I love the wall of bookshelves and all the plants! There was a live musician when I was there which was really cool but would make it hard to study. I got the ice coco matcha. It was delicious great matcha and coconut flavor but very thick. Would definitely come again.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
Coffee was ok. Beignets were ok. Just soft dough. Matcha was light and sweet. A bit chalky. Tarter tots was the best. It was crispy and not salty. Overall very ok experience. Great place to take your laptop and chill.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
Tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and it was rich and creamy, but I do wish they had less ice in the cup. Wifi was great for studying, the staff were friendly, and the ambience of the cafe is super cute. The tables are quite small though, which might be an issue if you're studying with more than a laptop or one person.

Yelp
Cute coffee, tea, and snack shop with a cute interior. Came here several times back when it was BLKDOG and enjoyed it a lot. This was our first visit since they changed the name. Highlights are the matcha beignets, fries with spicy mayo, Kyoto Fog, and Seoul Fog. Vibe: Vibe is chill and it remains a pretty popular spot so seating can be tough sometimes. People like to study or meet up with friends here. Food: We ordered the fries with spicy mayo and iced vietnamese coconut latte. The portion for fries was big and very shareable. They were very flavorful and sprinkled with what tasted like furikake, giving it a nice umami, seaweed, sea salt flavor. Spicy mayo was also very good and had a good kick to it! The latte was too sweet and more than 3/4 of the cup was just ice, don't recommend getting it. Came with a friend who ordered the Seoul Fog (hot tea drink) and they said they really enjoyed it though. I usually get the Kyoto Fog and enjoy that a lot - perhaps their iced drinks just have too much ice. Overall, we definitely recommend stopping by for matcha beignets, fries, or a hot tea-based latte like the Kyoto or Seoul Fog. We have not had luck with iced drinks here as they are too sweet or have way too much ice. Service was also great!

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because the Iced Coconut Vietnamese Coffee is a perfect drink. --- --- --- I order some form of black coffee 99% of the time, but my wife specifically wanted to come here because they had an Iced Coconut Vietnamese Coffee on the menu that sounded appealing to her. We arrived, I scanned the menu, and said, let's make it two of those. I had absolutely zero regrets with this decision. It was insanely delicious and packed the caffeine punch that I desperately needed. The only complaint about this drink was that it was over too quickly. If we lived nearby, it would be hard to resist coming here and ordering this on a regular basis. We were too stuffed to try the beignets, but we'll have to save those for next time.
google avatar

Lainey N.

Yelp
It was my first time here and i love this place already. My drink was recommended by the cashier and it was perfect. It wasn't too busy which I liked and I really liked the music they were playing. The employees were very nice and friendly.
google avatar

Vian N.

Yelp
I will visit this cafe time and time again! I love their coffee and I tried their matcha for the first time today. Light and sweet, and the coconut flavor definitely dominated but still enjoyable! The beignets are pretty dense for beignets, but the matcha dusting and powdered sugar still complimented it well. I love the eclectic decor and will always come back!!
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
Morii Coffee is so cute! I love the decor. My fiancé and I stopped by for a coffee run. I ordered the coco matcha and he ordered the Vietnamese coffee. The coco matcha is delicious! It has a strong coconut flavor and is well balanced. The Vietnamese coffee was on the bitter side and tasted strong. Both were really refreshing for a hot summer day in Houston. Highly recommend the coco matcha!
google avatar

Ruby D.

Yelp
Chinatown isn't necessarily known to have coffee shops like this, it is perfect for working or catching up with friends. It is not overly loud, the music is quaint and fitting. I am in love with their coco vietnamese coffee so I haven't gotten anything else. But I'm sure it's all good The seats are perfectly spaced from each other which is something I highly value! There are outlets avaliable almost everywhere and just in general the vibes are good. The aesthetic of this shop is very cozy cottage vibes. It smells like nice incense burning, the wifi is good and staff are all SO friendly.
google avatar

Kacy M.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here after it used to be called Blkdog Coffee. The decor and menu seemed pretty much the same. I got the matcha latte to drink there and asked for latte art (they delivered). It came hot and the flavor was pretty strong. I wish there was a free water station (didn't see one). You bus your own table after you finish drinking/eating and drop off your dishes by the counter.
google avatar

Kathy T.

Yelp
Vietnamese coffee was strong but also not too strong! Definitely had lots of ice though lol. Pretty good. Studied here for a bit, there's outlets all along the wall, tables seat about 2 people. There's a big table in the middle that seats about 8 people but no outlets in the middle.
google avatar

Cirrus T.

Yelp
The Saigon cappuccino and the coconut iced VN coffee are addictive, as the strength of the coffee is evident and well balanced with the slight sweetness of the condensed milk and coconut grinds. The cafe is small, quiet, and comforting to sit and work or sit and chat with friends/family. The service is friendly, and the girls are professional in attending to customers. The beignets are not as fluffy and crisp as those from Chez Beignet in Bellaire.
google avatar

Jenn T.

Yelp
I will forever be obsessed with their coconut matcha latte! This is coming from someone who usually don't like coconut. This cafe is super adorable and there's plenty of seating, however it's usually pretty full so you'll have to get lucky. The service is also great, everyone i've talked to so far has been really nice.
google avatar

Arianna L.

Yelp
I've come here multiple times for their coconut w Vietnamese coffee- super delish! Plenty of parking and seating. Good for large groups and individuals. Their matcha beignets are only available after a certain hour but very yummy - good to share! The honey kind of rolls off because of the powder but the powdered sugar alone is enough. Quick to make your order.
google avatar

Linda T.

Yelp
Ambiance is clean and has that Persian vibe. Friendly servers and the owner is always pleasant. My favorite is their Vietnamese coconut coffee but if you're hungry, they also offer some snack foods. When I'm craving sweets, I like to get their half/half beignets - basically means half has matcha powder and the other half is regular beignets. I find that their Vietnamese coconut coffee is consistent whereas their other drinks will vary, depending on the time you go and who makes it. Great place to read a book, study, do assignments, and even have a small meeting. Parking is much easier to find in the morning and make sure you only park in this plaza's parking lot or you will risk getting your car towed/ticket in the plaza across the street!
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
The service was great however the drinks really fell flat and the matcha to me was not good at all. I ended up giving the drinks I ordered to my husband and brother. Also near the bathroom there is a very unpleasant smell like old pipes.
google avatar

Kenny N.

Yelp
I decided to come here for coffee and to catch up with some friends. I ordered the Iced Vietnamese Coffee, which had a nice, smooth taste. There was a lot of coffee in it, so you don't get too much sweetness, but overall it wasn't bad. The coffee shop is on the smaller side, with plenty of small tables for two and one community table to share. There are a good number of parking spots during the day, but at night this plaza can be packed due to the nearby restaurants. They have Wi-Fi here, which is great for those who need to study or work. The service is pretty quick, which is another plus. I also tried the fries, which were very hot, fresh, and crispy. The seasoning was okay, though a bit salty for my taste. They used furikake for seasoning. The beignets were okay. They were hot and crispy but didn't have a lot of flavor. They came with a thick, sticky sugar sauce that I wasn't too fond of.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Nut allergy friendly coffee of course. I didn't try a beignet. Order - to - Drink Time: 24 Minutes We arrived at 9:30AM on a Saturday, which is a bit early for them. Their drip coffee wasn't ready (probably best to come at 10) and neither were the beignets (probably 10:30 for those). The atmosphere is nearly like a library, with bookshelves and several different table layouts for anywhere from 2 (most tables) to a long table that seats up to 8. There's some outdoor seating too. They're probably the best coffee shop that opens early near Bellaire. They use Philadelphia's Colombe coffee. My cappuccino was perfect at a reasonable price (~$5). There were about 6 people in front of me and it took about 24 minutes to get my cappuccino, which is quite slow so be aware of that. One person was ordering takoyaki at 9:30AM so it seemed they were busy with that order and with brewing the drip coffee. I give them a pass because it was soon after a huge storm and many businesses had no power. I also got to sip their yakault yuzu drink, which was nice (basically exactly as it sounds) but was a lot of ice relative to the amount of drink.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
This coffee shop is soooo soothing the music and ambience is great. I will say it's more quiet than your usual coffee shop so not sure it's group/chit chat appropriate. They have a great selection of coffee to pick from. I'm a coconut obsessive so my favorite is the iced coconut coffee and a close second is the classic iced Vietnamese coffee. The employee are so nice and helpful and make the drinks perfectly. Highly recommend a stop by to try out the drinks I'm excited to try some sweets next time I have more time.
google avatar

Yelp
The PROS are that, like Blkdog Coffee, which formerly sat in this space, The Morii Coffee offers the same great hangout space. In fact, everything seems to be the same, including the decor, signage, and menu. The big CON is that the new owners did not improve on the beignets to make them more authentic, and in fact the ones I had tonight were actually worse, dough on the tough side, than what I remember from the half dozen times I had the Blkdog beignets. I love beignets, and I really wish that the owners would make an effort to improve what they offer.
google avatar

Yelp
Parking Plenty of free parking is available in the shopping center parking lot, making it convenient for a stress-free visit. Delicacies The Vietnamese coffee boasts a medium to heavy body, delivering a smooth and rich flavor profile with a light foam finish. The matcha beignets are a delightful treat, light and fluffy, generously dusted with matcha and powdered sugar, and served with a sweet honey dipping sauce that perfectly complements their airy texture. Service Service was exceptionally friendly and efficient, with a welcoming and attentive staff ensuring a pleasant experience. Vibe The vibe is serene and inviting, with ample seating that creates a cozy yet productive ambiance for a café. It's an ideal spot for studying or working, further enhanced by the reliable and fast WiFi. To long to read Convenient free parking, smooth Vietnamese coffee, fluffy matcha beignets, quick and friendly service, and a cozy vibe with great WiFi make this café a perfect place to relax or get work done.

Yelp
Formerly BLKDOG but now it's Morii Coffee. I've only been to BLKDOG a couple times but didn't go often so I'm not sure if anything major changed from the menu - but they still serve snacky foods & beignets. I'm a matcha girl & I really enjoyed their coco matcha! I loved their coconut topper & it went really well with the matcha. Their Vietnamese coffee was also good but not as strong as other places! The inside is very spacious & many people studying inside.
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
5 stars immediately because my last name is Mori ;) but objectively: such a great coffee shop! Cute and cozy with great drinks. One of the better Vietnamese coffees I've definitely had, despite the plethora of options in houston. Strong coffee punch with a great balance of coconut sweetness. The coconut matcha latte though - one of the best I've ever had PERIOD. A must try!
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Morii. We'd been here before when it was Blkdog Coffee. The blended drinks were really good. My wife got a Chai tea blend and I went with a tasty espresso blended drink. We had them hold the whip on both drinks. Got some Colombe coffee beans too......we'll be back. Friendly service and great drinks.
google avatar

Alanna Y.

Yelp
I came here just for beignets but I would definitely come back to try their coffee and other small bites. We got the half and half matcha and original beignets. The portion was way bigger than I thought it would be so if you don't want a lot just order one flavor, because we got 12 total. My bar for beignets is low as I've never had them, but I really enjoyed theirs! They were pillowy, warm, not super greasy, and coated in powdered sugar or matcha! The honey paired beautifully with the matcha beignets. The staff were very kind and the vibe of the place is laidback. A great place to catch up with friends or study!
google avatar

Morgan W.

Yelp
As an avid coffee shop connoisseur, this one is a winner. Very light and charming vibes, good coffee and snack options (beignets hello), generally quiet for working or studying, a good amount of seating available, outlets by all of the wall tables. I'll be back again for sure. It is among my top choices of coffee shops in the area.
google avatar

Ivan K.

Yelp
The former BLKdog Coffee, they've basically kept all the furnishings the same. I can't even tell you the difference on the menu, but what I can say is that this visit was a pleasant one. I love the ambiance here. A lot of people just working or chatting quietly. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and a matcha beignet for the kids and me to share. Everything was great except the beignets took like 15 minutes to get. At least the guys working there were nice.
google avatar

Emily J.

Yelp
I love this place!!! If you have to work out in the field in the SW side of Houston this is the perfect little coffee shop to get your work done in cozy aesthetically pleasing peace. The staff are incredibly attentive while also not being obnoxious. Their calm quiet presence just adds to the vibe. I love their blended coffee drinks, I haven't tried the food yet but they do offer a wide variety of snacks and baked goods.
google avatar

Lily L.

Yelp
Such a cute place for a date, hangout, or study session. They got plenty seatings and seems like different tables good for different occasions. They were playing low-fi music so not too loud, and suits the cozy coffee shop vibe. Service was nice and quick too. Would come back for their snacks again! I ordered the coconut viet coffee, 8/10, because I was hoping for a blend in coconut flavor into the viet coffee but it was just the milk cream on the top, but the coffee flavor is good though and just right amount of strong taste. What I liked the most is the tater tots, 10/10. Not a lot of places in the Chinatown area has tater tots so I ordered that but forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry and it smelled so good. It was a really good shareable portion for two people, and comes with yummy mayo sauce. They got other fried food options and good price too I think.

Milky Z.

Yelp
The beignet were so dry. To mention, we saw a roach crawling on the wall. And i think the food gave me a stomach aches since that was the only thing i ate with my friend and we all had stomach issues right afterward. service and the interior was nice though
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute little place tucked away in Houston's Chinatown. This shop is located where BLK Dog used to be. I never had been to BLK Dog but had heard a lot of amazing things. Anyways the inside was very cozy, cute and quiet. People were studying or chatting quietly with friends. Loved the vibe! I have been really wanted to try viet coffee with coconut and Morii had it at the top of their menu. I got the iced coconut Vietnamese coffee, and my husband got the regular Vietnamese iced coffee. Both came with a sweet cold foam on top, but the coconut one had coconut flavoring infused into the foam. Man they both were delicious- coconut one was obviously better. The coffee was perfect strong, and had hints of sweet coconut. Service was also great, the employee was super sweet and helpful. I will be returning and I would definitely recommend :)
google avatar

Rubi J.

Yelp
They're London fogs are delicious but we came to try the Vietnamese iced coffee but it wasn't strong at all. Just tasted like a regular latte :/
google avatar

Jaslyn R.

Yelp
The barista was really sweet person. I ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee and it's definitely strong the flavor of is well balanced strong and sweet. Definitely a lot of people come to study at this place and it gets busy especially on a weekend. But definitely would recommend their coffee they also have small bites and it does look good. Might try it next time.
google avatar

Han P.

Yelp
We come to get the beignets. It turned out beignets were not better than other store was closed the business (Crescent City Beignets on St. Felipe St.).
google avatar

Henry B.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday morning at 10am for a coffee date. Cute little shop with great ambiance. Only one other person there but picked up by 11. I got the matcha creme and my partner got the Saigon cappuccino with half condensed milk and we shared an order of matcha beignets and karaage. Matcha creme had good matcha flavor but was too icy. Cappuccino was delicious. Big fan of the beignets, beautifully plated and delicious. Karaage was strangely pale but delightfully crispy.
google avatar

Linda E.

Yelp
Easily one of the top 3 Vietnamese coffees I've had in Houston! For this reason alone I recommend this place. If you made the trek here bc you saw pictures of amazing looking beignets you will be disappointed. These were some of the worst beignets I've tasted. They are miniature bite sized versions & the dough is just not characteristic of a beignet! This seems like a go to study spot so if that's important to you, you will love this place!
google avatar

Juno D.

Yelp
I came to this place on a whim and discovered that this place used to be BLKDOG coffee and they just renamed it. The baristas are very nice and friendly. Morii is a cozy place to study however their matcha latte wasn't the best. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla (paid $6.71) and I was really excited to try it but it left a horrible taste in my mouth, I will try their other drinks and see if it's just the matcha but based on the drink I got, I wouldn't recommend the place.

Yelp
I only have kind things to say about this lovely little coffee spot. My boyfriend and I stopped in today for drinks while awaiting our upcoming dinner plans in the area, and we were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful and welcoming this place was. Upon walking in you notice a very peaceful atmosphere, very quiet and littered with a wide array of what looks to be antiqued books, furniture, and other embellishments. It's very comfortable, the staff behind the register were very kind and accommodating, and I had the pleasure of also meeting the owner who is the loveliest woman, and welcomed me as this was my first time stopping in. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks (my boyfriend quickly finished his before I even got to take this picture), and have every intention of coming back in the future to try their foods as well.

Yelp
Got the Kyoto fog and vanilla lavender latte. Kyoto fog was pretty sweet and milky, maybe a little too sweet for me. The lavender latte was nice and floral. Drinks take a little while to come out, but not too bad. Space is small but good amount of seating (for groups of two).
