"Blkdog Coffee, located at 9630 Clarewood, is expected to open soon. The venue features shabby chic decor, mismatched chairs, hanging plants, and a chandelier from Tran’s home. Inspired by coffee shops in Asia, it offers a mom-and-pop atmosphere with a menu that includes Brooklyn style pizza with Asian flavors and La Colombe coffee. Unique decor elements include Austrian and French antique lights and an informal lending library. It will be the first coffee shop in Texas to partner with La Colombe." - Mai Pham
